정밀 공작기계에 있어 안내/이송계(이하, 이송시스템)의 중요성은 새삼스럽게 강조할 필요가 없을 정도로 꾸준히 강조되어 왔다. 또한, 최근 들어서는 광부품, 반도체, 디스플레이 등 초정밀 가공기술시장의 급격한 확대에 따라 이들 산업의 제조장비용 핵심기술로서 이송시스템의 역할 및 수요는 훨씬 확대되어가고 있으며, 오히려 요구정밀도 면에서는 공작기계상에서의 요구성능을 초월하여, 이들 산업에서 개발된 기술이 역으로 공작기계에 적용되어야하는 시점으로까지 진전되고 있다.(중략)

한국의 장기 에너지공급 전략에서 에너지수요 및 환경제약에 따른 원자력에너지의 역할을 평가하기 위해 에너지수급 최적화모형인 MESSAGE를 이용하였다. 에너지수급 네트워크의 입력자료로 필요한 유효에너지 수요를 예측하기 위해 새로운 프로그램을 개발하였고, 이 결과를 이용하여 1993년부터 2040년까지 원자력계통을 포함한 전체 에너지계통에 대한 최적화를 수행하였으며, 노형전략 및 핵연료주기전략, 원자력에너지의 확대이용 방안 등을 제시하였다. 한국에서 원자력 확대이용에 대한 핵심 요인은 경제성장 규모, 화석연료의 이용가능성, 이산화탄소 배출규제, 부지 및 대중수용성에 의해 제한 받는 원자력 자체의 공급능력이 될 것이다.

In this paper, we introduce a novel method to reduce image to a small size, such that the quality of the image is improved when it is up-scaled. Recent hardwares including cameras and display devices allow us to capture and display high-resolution images. However, it is not always realistic to store and transmit those high-resolution images due to limitation of storage and network bandwidth. Therefore, high-resolution images are often down-scaled to be stored and transmitted, and then up-scaled back for display. To improve final image quality in this scenario, we first formulate selected up-scale methods as linear transformations. The optimal reduction methods are obtained as its inverse transformation. Based on this basic idea, we develop down-scale kernel that is optimized for each up-scale method. In our experiment, the proposed method could improve the quality of the up-scaled image noticeable.

The most commonly used techniques for image magnification are interpolation based. However, the magnified images produced by this technique often appear blocking and blurring phenomenon when the image is enlarged. In this paper, we enhanced image magnification algorithm using edge information. The proposed algorithm not used interpolation based but by using sub-band of input image in extrapolation. According to mapping relationship in pyramid, we calculated up-band information to magnify. In experiments, the proposed model shows solved the problem of image loss like the blocking and blurring phenomenon. As the result, it is faster and higher resolution than traditional magnification algorithms.

우리의 대학 교육도 이제는 글로벌 인력의 전문화·다양화를 확대, 추진하고 국가 인력수급 계획에 맞춰 정원을 대폭 축소해야 할 것으로 생각한다. 또한 정부는 국·공립, 사립대학간의 적절한 역할 분담을 할 수 있도록 조정 역할을 하여야 할 것이다.

과학기술의 사회적 역할과 책임 확대, 기술개발을 통한 실질적인 문제해결이 강조되면서 국가 사회적 문제해결과 국민생활 전반의 삶의 질 제고를 위한 R&D 정책과 관련 사업에 대한 투자가 확대되고 있다. 정부가 사회이슈 해결을 위한 과학기술의 정책적 지향을 명확히 하면서, 출연(연) 역시 기존의 경제성장 견인과 성장동력 창출 중심의 기능에서 사회문제의 선제적 해결과 공공성 확장을 위한 출연(연)의 역할 수행을 요구받고 있다. 출연(연)은 공적임무 기반을 확대함으로써 국민들의 삶의 질 제고에 실질적으로 기여하겠다는 실천방안을 제출하는 등 다양한 모색과 자생적 혁신을 꾀하고 있으나, 연구자 연구현장의 수용성 문제와 출연(연)이 갖는 여러 특성과 맞물려 기대에 부합하는 변화의 폭과 속도를 내지는 못하고 있다. 본 발표에서는 출연(연)의 R&D환경과 사회문제 해결형 연구사업 현황을 살펴보고, 사회문제 해결을 위한 ETRI의 추진내용과 연구자 기술공급 중심의 경향성을 보완하기 위한 노력들을 소개하였다. 또한 출연(연)의 특성을 기반으로 전략적 투자와 효율적 운영, 성과의 확산 측면에서 사회문제 해결형 R&D 활성화를 위한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

In this study, we aim to comprehensively examine how court libraries can enhance their function and role as a hub for judicial information sharing. To achieve this, the current status was holistically understood based on literature review, case studies, interviews with stakeholders, and surveys targeted at users. The study sought to explore and present ways in which court libraries can play a central role in the dissemination and sharing of legal knowledge. As a result of the research, we propose four roles of the judicial information sharing complex center as a court library, five functions of the judicial information sharing complex center, and nine strategies to enhance accessibility for the spread of legal culture. If court libraries function as next-generation shared complex centers with the goal of popularizing legal knowledge culture, it would be possible to expand access to legal knowledge for citizens interested in law and culture, professionals in legal and educational institutions, and residents living near the center.
