포장과 법률 - 유독물 등의 분류기준 및 표시방법에 관한 규정

  • GHS는 화학물질의 분류 표시에 대한 세계조화시스템(Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals)으로 동일한 화학물질에 대해 국제적으로 동일한 유해 위험성 분류 표시를 하기 위한 새로운 규정이다. 화학물질의 분류 표시는 화학물질이 갖는 여러 가지 유해성, 위험성을 적절히 판별하고, 그 정도에 따라 분류한 다음, 가장 이해하기 쉬운 형태로 표시하는 것이 그 목적이며 올바른 정보제공을 통한 안전관리를 강화하고 국제적인 조화를 통하여 화학물질의 적정 평가 및 국제적 교역을 증대하고자 하는데 있다. 본 고에서는 유독물 등의 분류기준 및 표시방법에 관한 규정과 유독물의 표시규격에 대해 살펴보도록 한다.

  • 센서는 어떤 물리 .center dot. 화학적량을 다른 물리 .center dot. 화학적량으로 변환시키는 기능의 소자를 통칭하는 용어로써 그 범위가 매우 넓으며, 현대 산업사회에서 전기 .center dot. 전자공학의 반전과 더불어 센서가 더욱 중요시되고 있다. 특히 대부분의 센서가 피측정 물리 .center dot. 화학적량을 전기적 신호로 변화 시키는 기능으로 정밀측정, 생산자동화 및 자동제어등에 다양하게 사용되고 있다. 센서는 원리적 측면에서의 분류와 센서의 기능적 측면으로 분류방법이 있다. 센서 관련 학문적 연구면에서 보면 센서의 원리적 측면에서의 접근이 용이하며 센서를 사용하는 산업체나 사용자의 입장에서는 센서의 기능적 측면 즉 피측정 물리 .center dot. 화학적량의 종류에 따른 분류가 편리하다.

  • 생활을 향상시키고 개선하기 위해 화학물질은 전 세계적으로 널리 이용 되고 있고, 또한 국내에는 38,000여종의 화학물질이 유통되고 있다. 그러나 화학물질은 그 이점에도 불구하고 사람이나 환경에 유해 영향을 가져올 가능성이 있어 위험물안전관리법에서는 3,000여종을 위험물로 분류하여 규제하고 있다. 위험물에 관련하여 유해화학물질관리법, 위험물안전관리법, 고압가스안전관리법, 총포 도검 화약류단속법, 원자력 진흥법, 농약관리법 등에서 개별적으로 규정하고 분류하고 있어 위험물질에 대한 표지사항이 해당 부처에 따라 상이하여 혼란을 야기하고 있고, 위험물에 대한 품목 및 품명의 고정으로 인하여 새롭게 생성된 위험물질에 대해 적용하는 데 문제점이 있다. 이에 의해 위험물질을 개별법에 따라 관리함으로써 중복된 위험물질 분류 및 관리의 문제가 있으며, 위험물질 분류에 있어서 위험물질에 따라 수송수단이 상이함에도 불구하고 수송수단별(도로, 철도, 해운, 항공) 위험물질에 대한 세분화된 자료가 부족하다. 따라서 수송관점에서 표준화된 위험물 물질정보의 분류와 코드화 방안개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 국내 외 문헌 검토 및 위험물에 관련된 법제도 비교를 통하여 위험물 수송관리체계 정비방안과 위험물 수송사고의 문제점을 도출하고 기존의 위험물 분류체계에서 운송관점에서의 위험물 매칭테이블을 구축하고 신속한 사고대응을 위한 위험물질별 코드화 방안을 제안하도록 하겠다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of a Chemistry I class based on an artificial intelligence (AI) classification model. To achieve this, the research investigated the development and application of a class utilizing an AI classification model in Chemistry I classes conducted at D High School in Gyeongbuk during the first semester of 2023. After selecting the curriculum content and AI tools, and determining the curriculum-AI integration education model as well as AI hardware and software, we developed detailed activities for the program and applied them in actual classes. Following the implementation of the classes, it was confirmed that students' self-efficacy improved in three aspects: chemistry concept formation, AI value perception, and AI-based maker competency. Specifically, the chemistry classes based on text and image classification models had a positive impact on students' self-efficacy for chemistry concept formation, enhanced students' perception of AI value and interest, and contributed to improving students' AI and physical computing abilities. These results demonstrate the positive impact of the Chemistry I class based on an AI classification model on students, providing evidence of its utility in educational settings.

Classification models for chemotherapy recommendation using LGBM for the patients with colorectal cancer

  • In this study, we propose a part of the CDSS(Clinical Decision Support System) study, a system that can classify chemotherapy, one of the treatment methods for colorectal cancer patients. In the treatment of colorectal cancer, the selection of chemotherapy according to the patient's condition is very important because it is directly related to the patient's survival period. Therefore, in this study, chemotherapy was classified using a machine learning algorithm by creating a baseline model, a pathological model, and a combined model using both characteristics of the patient using the individual and pathological characteristics of colorectal cancer patients. As a result of comparing the prediction accuracy with Top-n Accuracy, ROC curve, and AUC, it was found that the combined model showed the best prediction accuracy, and that the LGBM algorithm had the best performance. In this study, a chemotherapy classification model suitable for the patient's condition was constructed by classifying the model by patient characteristics using a machine learning algorithm. Based on the results of this study in future studies, it will be helpful for CDSS research by creating a better performing chemotherapy classification model.

Flavonoid chemistry of Fallopia sect. Reynoutria (Polygonaceae) in Korea (한국산 닭의덩굴속 호장근절(마디풀과)의 화학분류학적 연구)

  • Fifteen populations comprising three taxa and a putative hybrid of Fallopia sect. Reynoutria in Korea were examined for their leaf flavonoid constituents. Nineteen flavonoid compounds were isolated and identified; they were glycosylated derivatives of the flavonols quercetin and kaempferol, and of the flavones apigenin and luteolin. Among them, quercetin 3-O-galactoside and quercetin 3-O-glucoside were major flavonoid constituents, and present in all taxa. The flavonoid data appear to be very useful for taxon delimitation, and all taxa examined are readily distinguished by their flavonoid profiles. In addition, the flavonoid data suggest that the Nonsan population may be of hybrid origin involving F. japonica var. japonica, F. forbesii, and F. sachalinensis. In F. japonica var. japonica, there is no apparent correlation between their levels of polyploidy and flavonoid chemistry, but geographical variation of the flavonoid profiles among some populations was detected.

  • This study investigated general problems concerning the subject Chemical Engineering in the KDC(Korean Decimal Classification) 4th edition based on the comparative analysis with DDC, NDC, and Disciplinary Classification System of Korean Research Foundation, and suggested on some ideas for the improvements of them. The subject of chemical Engineering in the KDC 4th edition had to be improved to use current terminology, to choose appropriate headings, and to subdivide the subjects more to introduce new topics.

  • Field surveys were conducted from May 2016 to October and from April to October 2017 in Tributary Region of Middle Stream of the Nakdong River. The survey was carried out at 66 sites including Young-gang 11, Naeseong-cheon 21, Wi-cheon 16, and Gam-cheon 9, Byeongseong-cheon 9. As a result of investigation, 474 taxa in total ; 99 familly, 288 genera, 421 species, 4 subspecies, 39 varieties and 10 forma. Among them, 5 Korean endemic plants, 7 rare plants, 31 taxa were listed as Floristic Target Species in Korea. Naturalized plants was confirmed 73 taxa, their Urbanization Ratio 22.7%, and naturalization ratio 15.4% in the investigated area. The Life form(Dormancy form) review results as follows ; Therophytes 159 taxa, Hemicryptophytes 91 taxa, Hydrophanerophytes 68 taxa, Geophyte 52 taxa, Nanophanerophytes 35 taxa, Megaphanerophytes 32 taxa, Microphanerophytes 25 taxa, Chamaephytes 12 taxa, and Epiphyten 1 taxa.

Estimation of Chemical Speciation and Temporal Allocation Factor of VOC and PM2.5 for the Weather-Air Quality Modeling in the Seoul Metropolitan Area (수도권 지역에서 기상-대기질 모델링을 위한 VOC와 PM2.5의 화학종 분류 및 시간분배계수 산정)

  • The purpose of this study is to assign emission source profiles of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particulate matters (PMs) for chemical speciation, and to correct the temporal allocation factor and the chemical speciation of source profiles according to the source classification code within the sparse matrix operator kernel emission system (SMOKE) in the Seoul metropolitan area. The chemical speciation from the source profiles of VOCs such as gasoline, diesel vapor, coating, dry cleaning and LPG include 12 and 34 species for the carbon bond IV (CBIV) chemical mechanism and the statewide air pollution research center 99 (SAPRC99) chemical mechanism, respectively. Also, the chemical speciation of PM2.5 such as soil, road dust, gasoline and diesel vehicles, industrial source, municipal incinerator, coal fired, power plant, biomass burning and marine was allocated to 5 species of fine PM, organic carbon, elementary carbon, $NO_3{^-}$, and $SO_4{^2-}$. In addition, temporal profiles for point and line sources were obtained by using the stack telemetry system (TMS) and hourly traffic flows in the Seoul metropolitan area for 2007. In particular, the temporal allocation factor for the ozone modeling at point sources was estimated based on $NO_X$ emission inventories of the stack TMS data.
