A Study on Factors Affecting Fire Prevention (화재예방에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to empirically verify the factors affecting fire prevention, which is a dependent variable, by establishing a safety culture related to fire prevention, fire prevention education, fire prevention equipment, fire safety knowledge, and fire safety practices as independent variables. The results obtained from the multiple regression analysis were derived as follows in relation to fire prevention. The fire prevention education was found to have the most statistically significant effect on fire prevention, and the fire prevention facility was found to have a statistically significant effect on fire prevention. In addition, fire safety practice was found to have a statistically significant effect on fire prevention.

  • 본 논문은 한국전기안전공사에서 취약계층의 전기안전을 확보하기 위한 시행하는 전기안전 긴급출동, 공익서비스의 전기화재 예방효과를 분석하기 위해 화재사고 예방효과 분석방법을 이용하여 전기화재 감소율을 산출하였다. 또한 산출결과를 이용하여 전기화재 예방건수, 전기화재에 의한 사상자, 경제적 피해 등의 예방효과를 산출하였다. 이 결과 연평균 265건의 전기화재사고를 예방하였으며, 연평균 9명의 사상자와 약 17억원의 경제적 손실을 예방할 수 있었다.

Simulation of Fire Evacuation Induction System Using Smartphone Navigation Application

  • This study is intended to verify the efficiency of the information system by using the navigation application in case of fire. In the demonstration scenario simulation, it was assumed that a fire occurred 6th floor in Korea Institute of Industrial Design Promotion located in C city, K province. Eighty juniors students from K University's department of paramedics of science participated. As a result of the experiment, the demonstration simulation using the navigation application showed that the evacuation time was faster than the case of evacuation guidance in a fire situation. The need for a fire prevention system and fire prevention awareness before and after the implementation of the demonstration scenario simulation increased the need for a fire prevention system and fire prevention awareness score after the experiment.

  • 최근 우리 사회는 다양한 환경변화와 산업화 및 경제발전이라는 미명하에 그간 쉽게 생각한 것들이 이제는 새로운 사회의 문제로 이슈화 되고 있다. 그중 상가 밀집지역 및 주택가 등의 화재로 인한 피해가 가중되고 있으며 이러한 화재의 초기 대응이 원활하지 못할시 피해는 가중되어 상상을 초월하며 이러한 다양한 화재 예방 및 대응을 위한 이동형 수막설비와 모바일 소방장비의 도입이 좁은 통로길 화재예방 및 피해 저감을 위한 길이라 모색되어 연구를 하고자 한다.

  • 사우나실은 높은 열과 가연성 목재가 내장되어 있어 화재 발생 위험이 높으며 또한, 열원으로 대부분 전기 히터를 사용하기 때문에 물이 묻어있는 상태의 입욕자에게는 감전 사고의 위험도 높다. 이 글은 1988년부터 1990년까지 3년간 영국의 사우나 시설에서 발생한 화재 통계 및 1990년 캐나다의 온타리오(ontario)에서 발생된 2건의 화재 사례를 중심으로 사우나 시설의 화재 예방 대책과 인명 안전 대책에 대하여 기술하였다.

A Study on the Adaptability of Oxygen Reduction System to Fire in Cold Storage through Fire Simulation Analysis (화재시뮬레이션 분석을 통한 냉장·냉동 창고 화재의 저산소 시스템 적응성에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The number of Cold Storages at home and abroad is on the rise, fires in large Cold Storages have recently occurred. As fires continue to occur and property damage is on the rise every year, the importance of preventing fires in large Cold Storage is growing. Method: Real Cold Storages were investigated on-site and fire cases were analyzed to derive and analyze fire risk, and the ORS, which is emerging as an adaptive fire prevention technology of Cold Storage, was investigated through FDS. Result: oxygen concentration 21, 15.7% and 17.7, 16.7% were analyzed through FDS, and flashover was reached within 3~4 minutes from 21, 17.7, 16.7%, but if oxygen concentration was lowered to 15.7%, it didn't ignite for 13 minutes. Conclusion: This study understood the concept and general part of the ORS, modeled the freezer through FDS, and analyzed the oxygen concentration to analyze the fire protection adaptability of the ORS. In the future, it is expected that large-scale empirical experiments and related regulations will be prepared to provide solutions for fire prevention in Cold Storages in blind spots of fire.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the limits of current measures to prevent fire accidents especially in the existence of polyurethane. Suffering numerous fire accidents, preventive measures are strengthened accordingly. However, in the existence of polyurethane, current measures are insufficient since it is still impossible to completely separate inflammables form ignition sources in case of polyurethane used as insulation. In order to identify blind spots of current fire prevention measures, this study conducted analysis on the previous fire accidents and the coverage of current legislative preventive measures. In conclusion, in order to perfectly prevent polyurethane fire accidents, not only controling of working condition but also substitution of noncombustible material for polyurethane is indispensible.

  • This research is to study and analyze our country's management of disasters, the present condition of cultural heritages bases on the examples of temples, and Japan's safety management prevention of buddhist temple. As a result, this research aims to how to improve the temple fire prevention system. To improve the anti-fire system of temples, it is important to make new laws about fire lose to minimize cultural property lose. Secondly, to protect self-contained type fire alarm device, with aerosol type hand propelled fire extinguishers to prevent fire lose. Lastly, construction work of electric engineer is necessary to prevent temple fire loses.

  • 한국화재보험협회는 행정자치부와 손해보험회사의 후원으로 범국민적인 화재예방의식을 심어주고 불조심 생활화의 확산을 위해 "제3회 화재사진 현상공모" 행사를 개최하였다. 이번 행사는 지난 7월 10일부터 10월 5일까지 화재사진을 모집, 총 158점의 작품이 접수되었다. 2차에 걸친 공정한 심사를 통해 일반부 작품 31점과 학생부 작품 2점을 최종 선정하였으며, 지난 11월 12일 시상식을 개최하였다. 협회는 당선된 작품과 협회에서 보유하고 있는 불조심 포스터 및 화재사진과 함께 전국 순회 전시회를 열어 화재예방 홍보활동을 하고 있다.
