With the spread of smart technology, in the personal and office equipment, many of the products are equipped with smart features. These changes have opened the era that can enforce the user's operation from a remote location. In this study, we design and implement a smart multi-plug system to make a multi-plug installed in the home can be operated anytime and anywhere via wireless network technologies add smart feature to a multi-plug that can be seen easily around us, it is intended to complement the limitations of traditional multi-plugs. The smart multi-plug proposed in this paper, by operating the plug remotely from smart devices at anytime and from anywhere, is possible to provide services required for the weak users such as elderly and children, it is expected that the proposed system are widely used in the various areas requiring remote control of the power supply including u-Farming, terrarium, and smart home, and so on.

As home network system begins serving in earnest, the recent fruits of research in home service robot show that the new epoch that human and intelligent robots are living, communicating and interacting together at home, may come true in the near future. In the other hand, it is generally known that the multiagent system, performing distributed process together with other different devices in a home network system, is better than single robot or single home server for adapting themselves to home environment and completing their mission because the characteristic of home environment is 'open'. Therefore, in this paper we suggest the framework model to define agents, which is needed lot the home with a home network system, and the communication protocol architecture between agents. For this, we focus our attention on an agent comprising the set of many agent instances rather than the single intelligent or ability of a robot or home server, and also suggest the way of adaptation for agent systems to their environments and interaction with human in the manner of cooperation and negotiation among agents or agent instances in each agent.
Mobile Virtual Private Network (MVPN) provides VPN services without geographical restriction to mobile workers using mobile devices. Coexistence of Mobile IP (MIP) protocol for mobility and IPsec-based VPN technology are necessary in order to provide continuous VPN service to mobile users. However, Problems like registration failure or frequent IPsec tunnel re-negotiation occur when IPsec-based VPN Gateway (GW) and MIP are used together. In order to solve these problems, IETF proposes a mechanism which uses external home agent (x-HA) located external to the corporate VPN GW. In addition, based on the IETF proposal, a mechanism that assigns x-HA dynamically in the networks where MN is currently located was also proposed with the purpose to reduce handover latency as well as end-to-end delay. However, this mechanism has problems such as exposure of a session key for dynamic Mobility Security Association (MSA) or a long latency in case of the handover between different networks. In this paper, we propose a new MVPN protocol in order to minimize handover latency, enhance the security in key exchange, and to reduce data losses cause by handover. Through a course of simulation, the performance of proposed protocol is compared with the existing mechanism.
OSGi technology has applied to Home Network, but now it is loaded into even heterogeneous devices in various domains. Therefore, it is necessary to cooperate with each other framework for offering effective services in distributed OSGi frameworks. However until now, OSGi specification doesn't provide any methodthat can share the services registered on remote OSGi frameworks. In order to solve this problem, there have been several researches that used existing distributed middleware technologies such as JXTA and Web Services. However these technologies have some weakness, that is, they consume lots of computing resources and need additional process to transform the services. A middleware called R-OSGi uses only OSGi technology for sharing remote OSGi services, but R-OSGi may have a communication bottleneck and SPOF (Single Point of Failure) problem, because it has a central service registry. In this paper we present RSP (Remote Service Provider), which is a P2P-based effective service sharing scheme on distributed OSGi framework. RSP doesn't need to install additional software nor have the additional transformation process of the service representation, because it uses only OSGi technology. In addition it doesn't have any bottleneck problem and improves scalability by providing the service discovery mechanism using P2P. RSP can also access remote services transparently and it can guarantee reliability by sending an immediate notice about changes of the remote services.

Nowadays, Dynamic lighting control and management skills are studied and used. If the system which is to manage multiple intelligent spot applied ubiquitous service technology is built with decision making and used in the complex intelligent space like a apartment then will improve energy efficiency and provide comfortability in optimal conditions. To solve this problem distributed autonomous control middleware and energy management system which process data gathering by zigbee mesh network and search proper services to save energy by the existing state of things is necessary. In paper we designed DDLEMS (Distributed Dynamic Lighting Energy Management System) that is to service duplex communication embedded by software based home server platform to provide mobile services in the smart place and support decision making about energy saving to the best use of wireless censor node and controled network, energy display devices.

Due to the appearance of various mobile terminals like smartphone, smartpad, and smartwatch and tremendous development of WiFi technology, data utilization rate on WiFi network is significantly increasing. As a result, users are wanting to use WiFi network using only a simple identification at a visited place as if they are at their home institute. In this paper, we review the domestic status of eduroam service which supports global extension of wireless network access environment and present the future development perspective of the service in Korea. Besides, we shed light on the current status of WiFi sharing service between domestic universities and propose some methods to facilitate the join of domestic universities in eduroam service.

User authentication and key agreement are very important components to provide secure home network service. Although the TTA adopted the EEAP-PW protocol as a user authentication and key transmission standard, it has some problems including not to provide forward secrecy. This paper first provides an analysis of the problems in EEAP-PW and then proposes a new attribute-based authenticated key agreement protocol, denoted by EEAP-AK. to solve the problems. The proposed protocol supports the different level of security by diversifying network accessibility for the user attribute after the user attribute-based authentication and key agreement protocol steps. It efficiently solves the security problems in the EEAP-PW and we could support more secure home network service than the EEAP-AK.

In the host-based Mobile IPv6, a mobile node is responsible for doing the signaling to its home agent to enable session continuity as it moves between subnets. To remove the mobile node's signalling processing load, the network-based Mobile IPv6 has been proposed recently. It allows session continuity for a mobile node without its involvement in mobility management. The proxy mobility agent in the network performs the signaling and does the mobility management on behalf of the mobile node. However, to make secure communications for a mobile node, security mechanisms against diverse attacks should be adopted. To do this, first of all security threats to the network-based Mobile IPv6 should be also identified and analyzed. Potential attack objectives may be to consume network services at the cost of a legitimate mobile node and, eavesdropping and fabrication of user traffic through interception of a mobile node's communications. This paper identifies and discusses security threats to the network-based Mobile IPv6 in details. The results of threats analysis are limited to threats that are peculiar to the network-based Mobile IPv6 except threats to IPv6 in general.
In this paper, we implement a wireless home monitoring system using physical computing platform with the open source type for house environment management. Sensors for temperature, optics and ultrasonic waves are used for home environment elements detection and control for the home safety. To obtain information related with home and transmit it to RIA Windows server system, XBee wireless communication system is used and the transmitted information is saved in mySQL database for history management. The possibility of prevention against fire disaster of a house situated in a dense buildings area and highly populated environments is suggested by adopting the proposed system.
