Simplification of State Invariant with Mixed Reachability Analysis (혼합 도달성 분석을 이용한 상태 불변식의 단순화)

  • State invariant is a property that holds in every reachable state. It can be used not only in understanding and analyzing complex software systems, but it can also be used for system verifications such as checking safety, liveness, and consistency. For these reasons, there are many vital researches for deriving state invariant from finite state machine models. In previous works every reachable state is to be considered to generate state invariant. Thus it is likely to be too complex for the user to understand. This paper seeks to answer the question `how to simplify state invariant\ulcorner`. Since the complexity of state invariant is strongly dependent upon the size of states to be considered, so the smaller the set of states to be considered is, the shorter the length of state invariant is. For doing so, we let the user focus on some interested scopes rather than a whole state space in a model. Computation Tree Logic(CTL) is used to specify scopes in which he/she is interested. Given a scope in CTL, mixed reachability analysis is used to find out a set of states inside it. Obviously, a set of states calculated in this way is a subset of every reachable state. Therefore, we give a weaker, but comprehensible, state invariant.

Characteristics of Fatigue Resistance of Recycled Asphalt Concretes by Modified Mixing Process (재생 아스팔트 콘크리트 혼합물의 혼합방법 개선에 따른 피로저항 특성)

  • This study evaluated the fatigue resistance characteristics of hot-mix recycled asphalt mixtures which were prepared by a new blending method. Since the binder of RAP shows higher viscosity without being rejuvenated in the ordinary recycled mixture, this new(modified) blending method was developed for obtaining more uniform level of binder viscosity in the recycled mixture. Cold-planned RAP was collected and mix design was performed using 15% RAP content for two virgin aggregate, gneiss and granite. Penetration grade of 60-80 asphalt was used in mixing recycled mixture together with a polymer modifier, LDPE. Indirect tensile fatigue tests were carried out to evaluate characteristics of fatigue resistance of performance of recycled asphalt mixtures. The recycled mixtures with LDPE 6% showed higher repeated loading fatigue life. Fatigue life ratio of new(N) mixing method mixtures was approximately 0.6-0.7 before aging and 0.8-1.0 after aging treatment of ordinary(O) mixing method mixture. This means the N mixture becomes stronger with aging process increase. If further aging is treated, N mixture may be showing stronger resistance than O mixture.

Combustion and Emission Characteristics of Utility Boiler burning Anthracite-Bituminous Coal Blends (발전용 보일러에서의 유, 무연탄 혼소시 연소 및 환경특성)

  • The combustion behaviors of the blends of Korean anthracite, bituminous coal and their blends were studied with a thermogravimetric analyzer. Concerning the burning profiles of the anthracite-bituminous coal blends in TGA, it has been observed the independent burning of two coals without any interaction between two coals. With the blends of 50% anthracite with 50% bituminous coal in weight basis, the combustion tests in a utility boiler have been carried out for the analysis of the combustion and operational characteristics by increasing the power output from 134 MW to 197 MW. The stable combustion has been observed in a boiler. With the increase of power output, the exhaust gas temperature was exceeded the design value of $430^{\circ}C$, so the combustion air was taken from atmosphere instead of the boiler penthouse.

  • This study investigates the effect of the mixing elements on the pressure loss and mixing performance in line mixer. The high density ozone water devices mixed with gas and liquid are used in various fields such as sterilizing of group feeding facilities and water quality management at a fish farm. Due to the decrease in rainfall due to climate change, pasteurization of drinking water from ground water and surface water is extremely important. Therefore, it is intended to develop a line-mixed gas liquid mixer with a small amount of space. In this study, the effects of the number of static mixers and the types and the number of the orifice used in line mixer on the volume fraction and the pressure loss were studied by CFD simulation. The pressure drops of line mixer with orifice which curved vanes were attached to were down to more than 50 percent of that of line mixer with static mixer whereas the mixing performance of the former was similar to that of the latter.

  • The purpose of this study was performed to compare to the characteristics (microstructure, phase change and hardness, erosion rate) of HVOF sprayed coatings with 20wt% NiCr claded and 7wt%NiCr mixed $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$ powder. In the case of the 20wt% NiCr claded $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$ powder, microstructural feature showed that the primary $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$ was remained in the coating but was barely remained in the mixed $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$ coating. As a results of XRD analysis, both 20wt%NiCr claded and 7wt% NiCr mixed $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$ powder was decomposed during spraying but the degree of decomposition of the 20wt%NiCr claded was lower than 7wt%NiCr mixed $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$ powder. After spraying the mixed powder for microhardness was higher than claded $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$ powder and which was increased up to $\textrm{Hv}_{300}$= 1665 after heat treatment to $1000^{\circ}C$. however. 20wt%NiCr claded $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$ became to decrease at $600^{\circ}C$ which was the maximum.

  • 많은 도심의 하천들은 오염물질의 유입에 취약하다. 최근 신소재 공학 등 첨단산업이 발전하게 되면서 유해화학물질의 유입문제는 더욱 대두되고 있으며, 실제로 최근 유해화학물질 유입사고 발생건수가 늘어나고 있다. 특히 국내 취수량의 90%는 지표수에서 취수하고 있어, 하천오염사고는 직접적인 피해로 이어지게 된다. 따라서 이러한 사고에 대응하기 위하여 수환경에 유입된 유해물질의 거동 매커니즘을 반영한 수질해석이 필요하다. 수체 내에 유입된 유해화학물질은 기본적으로 흐름에 따른 이송 확산을 하며 흡 탈착, 휘발, 침전 부유, 생화학 반응과 같은 다양한 반응과 함께 혼합거동을 한다. 특히 소수성물질의 경우 용해된 상태뿐만 아니라, 유사에 흡착된 상태로 수체에 존재하게 된다. 결국 유해화학물질의 거동을 해석하기 위해서는 유체의 흐름 해석뿐만 아니라 수체에 존재하는 유사의 이송 또한 해석해야한다. 본 연구에서는 흐름해석을 위하여 서울대에서 개발한 흐름모형(HDM-2D)을 사용하였으며, 부유사 거동모의를 위해 부유사거동모형(STM-2D)을 개발하였다. 또한 유해화학물질의 거동모의를 위해 서울대에서 개발한 수질모형(CTM-2D)에 생성/소멸항을 추가하였으며 흐름모형과 부유사모형과의 연계를 통해 유해화학물질의 혼합거동 수치모형을 개발하였다. 각 반응항(흡 탈착, 휘발, 침전 부유, 생화학 반응)을 수치모형에 반영 시에는 보통 두 계(물-토양, 물-공기) 사이의 선형 물질교환으로 이해된다. 따라서 물질의 각 반응 별 평형농도와 물질교환속도계수를 추정식을 통해 산정하여 사용하게 된다. 하지만 각 기작이 반영유무에 따라 계산시간 및 필요입력변수가 늘어나게 되므로, 유해화학물질 유입사고와 같은 빠른 대처가 필요한 경우 각 반응 텀의 유의성을 판단하여 모형에 반영여부를 결정을 통해 경제적인 모의를 할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 개발된 모형의 각 매개변수들의 민감도를 분석하고, 흐름조건 및 물질의 특성에 따른 반응항의 유의성을 판단하였다. 본 연구에서는 개발된 모형(부유사거동모형, 유해화학물질의 혼합거동모형)은 해석해 및 현장 데이터와 비교검증을 통해 개발을 완료하였으며, 각 반응항의 민감도 분석을 통해 매개변수의 임계값을 결정하였다.

Visualization of Doublet Impinging Jet Spray in Supercritical Mixed Hydrocarbon Fluid (초임계 탄화수소계열 혼합유체의 이중 충돌 제트 분무 가시화)

  • Based on surrogate model, a hydrocarbon mixture was analyzed by visualizing the impinging break up mechanism in subcritical and supercritical conditions. Decane and methylcyclohexane with different critical pressures and temperatures were selected as experimental fluids. The impinging injector was installed inside the chamber, and the spray was visualized through a speed camera in subcritical and supercritical conditions. The injection condition of the mixture and chamber was kept constant at Pr(P/Pc) = 1, and Tr(T/Tc) was increased from 0.48 to 1.02. As Tr increased, the spray angle increased, and the sheet length decreased as the properties of the mixture reached each critical point. In addition, when the mixture approached the near critical point, it was shown that the change in density gradient was largely observed out of the impinging break up mechanism.

Hydrodynamic Mixing Characteristics in Large River Confluence using Secondary Current Monitoring (2차류 계측 활용 대하천 합류부 수리학적 혼합거동 분석)

  • 하천의 합류부는 두 하천이 만나 형성되는 지역으로 복잡한 혼합 거동을 보인다. 합류부에서는 실제로 수리 특성이 유황에 따라 다양하게 변화하고 수환경 특성도 함께 변화하며, 이로 인해 본류와 지류에 비해 다양한 생태학적인 종이 분포하는 등 환경적으로 중요구간 중 하나이다. 합류부의 혼합 거동을 이해하기 위해서는 다양한 유황에 따른 수체 혼합 거동을 2차류를 통해 분석하는 것이 중요하다. 해외의 경우 2차류의 패턴을 통해 합류부에서의 혼합 거동을 공간적으로 분석한바 있으나(Riley and Rhoads, 2012), 대부분의 연구들은 중·소규모의 하천을 대상으로 진행되어 대규모 하천에서의 확인은 미흡한 상태이다. 또한, 실제 현장에서 계측을 통한 데이터 획득과 후 처리의 어려움으로 인해 현재 국내에서는 2차류 패턴을 통해 대규모 하천 합류부의 혼합 거동을 확인한 사례는 전무한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 Sontek사의 ADCP를 통해 계측된 수리 데이터를 Rozovskii의 방법을 기반으로 한 2차류로 나타내 낙동강-금호강 합류부에서의 공간적인 수체 혼합을 확인하였다. 혼합거리를 판단하기 위해 합류 이후 혼합의 경계면(Shear Layer)에서 나타나는 2차류의 특이한 패턴(Helical motion)을 주요 지표(Index)로 사용하였다. 그리고, 수질 센서인 YSI EXO2의 수표면 전기전도도의 분포를 통해 합류부에서 본류와 지류의 혼합거리를 산정하였으며, 2차류의 패턴과 비교하였다. 분석 결과, 대규모 하천에서 2차류의 특이한 패턴이 존재함을 명확히 확인하였다. 본류와 지류의 모멘텀 비에 따라 서로 다른 패턴의 혼합양상을 2차류를 통해 확인할 수 있었으며, 2차류의 혼합 패턴과 전기전도도의 분포를 비교 분석하여 합류부에서의 혼합을 3차원적으로 해석하였다.

  • Changes in antimicrobial peptide-lipid mixtures were investigated using 31P solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. An antimicrobial peptide, protegrin-1, and phosphatidylcholine were deposited on a thin cover glass and incubated under a relative humidity of 95%. The changes in the mixtures were observed after hydration or air-drying. How repetitive hydration and drying changed the phase of the sample was also observed. The degrees of disruption of the well-aligned bilayers of phosphatidylcholine were determined quantitatively by simulating the experimental spectra. The peptide-lipid mixtures changed reversibly after hydration and drying, and the samples reached an equilibrium state after several repetitions.

  • The solvolysis of 1-naphthalene-and 2-naphthalenesulfonyl chlorides in acetone-water mixtures have been studied by means of conductometry. The solvent effect and mechanism have been discussed in terms of variation in solvent composition and activation parameters. The reaction was predominantly $S_N2$ type, but bond breaking increased with the increase of water content. The rate constant for 1-naphthyl compound was smaller than that of 2-naphthyl compound due to the ground state stabilization effect and peri-hydrogen effect, and the latter effect was similar to that in ethanol-water mixtures.
