Research on changes of color measurements and pH Value During the Fumigation Treatment of Paintings (훈증(燻蒸)소독에 따른 서화류(書畵類)의 안료변색(顔料變色) 및 pH변화 유무(有無) 조사(調査))

  • This is a brief study on the influence of fumigation (using mixed gas of methyl bromide and ethylene oxide) on old paintings. Fumigation is principally used to prevent biological damage of objects. Thirteen objects, including old colored map from Chosǒn Dynasty and some paintings, were selected for this research. Before and after fumigation, color measurements were made and changes of pH value were measured. The result is that the fumigation did not affect on discoloration of colored area and acidity of paper, as far as the standard of application(such as concentration of gas, exposing time and ect.) of fumigation was kept.

Effects of Dietary Dae-Chu (Rhamnace ziziphus), Onion (Allium cepa L.), Mixture Extract on Serum Composition in Rats (대추, 양파, 혼합추출물이 흰쥐의 혈청조성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of dietary dae-chu(Rhamnace ziziphus, A), onion(Allium cepa L., O), mixture extracts (mulberry leaf, licorice root, pine needle, angelica gigas, jujube, onion, M) on serum glucose, lipid, enzyme, phosphorus levels in rats (Sprague-Dawley male rats, $357.03{\pm}7.08g$). Serum calcium of onion group was significantly decreased (p<0.05), but mixture extracts group of Cl (p<0.05) and TBIL (total bilirubin, p<0.05) were significantly increased. Serum glucose, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol and triglyceride were increased experimental rats than those of the normal rats. Mixture extracts was better than other groups for lipid metabolism. Also, GPT(glutamic pyruvic transaminase) and GOT(glutamic oxaloacetate transaminase) of onion extracts were protected to liver. So mixture and onion extracts were good drink for health.

  • 이번 지역건축을 기획하면서, 여러 가지 상념에 잠기게 되었다. 건축에서 지역성이 어느 정도 내재되어 있는지 살펴보고자 하는 것이 혹시 더욱 부정적 결과를 확인하는 것이라면 이를 확인할 필요가 있을지, 또 어떤 긍정적 결과를 확인할 수 있을지, 게다가 여러 개발도상국의 상황과 아시아의 건축적 진행을 보면서, 어쩌면 우리는 더욱 난감한 상황을 보게 될지도 모른다. "건축을 발전시켜온 어떤 민족도 각기 독자적 언어, 복장, 민속이 있는 것처럼, 그들이 좋아하는 형태를 발전시켜왔다. 19세기에 문화의 국경이 붕괴될 때까지 온 세계의 건축에는 지역고유의 형태와 디테일이 있었다. 그리고 어떠한 지역특유의 건물도 사람들의 창조력과 그 지역의 필요성의 결합에 의하여 태어난 아름다운 산물이었다. 그러나 현대 이집트에는 이집트 고유의 토착양식을 찾아볼 수가 없다. 바로 이집트인의 서명이 없다. 그것이 부자들의 집이건 가난한 자의 집이건 무성격하기는 마찬가지이며 이집트인의 자취란 사라져 버렸다."(하산 화티,1973년) 선진국은 스스로 산업혁명을 일으켰고, 이런 사회적 문화적 변동에 적응하기 위하여 1세기 이상의 시간적 여유가 있었다는 것이다. 개발도상국의 급속한 변화에는 건물도 변화의 수단으로 이용되었다는 것이다. "민족적이며, 지역적인 전통이야말로, 새로운 지역주의의 기초로서 보존하고 사용되어야 된다는 '섬세한' 서양의 관찰자들의 탄원은 이같은 상황에서는 전연 고려되지 않았다."고 커티스는 보았다. 섬세한 서양인이 아니라 자국민 스스로 자신의 문명에 대하여 파괴적인 입장에 서 있다면 더욱 난감한 일이다. 지역주의의 의미는 무엇일까? 건축에서 '지역'의 범주는 어디인가? 인종적 분포 또는 민족적 무리를 이름지은 것인가? 아니면 인종과 민족의 공통점인가? 그것도 아니라면 정치적 경계선으로 둘러싸인 경계를 말하는 것인가? 모든 지역이 다 지역주의로 대별될 수 있는가? 어느 곳이 건축에서의 중심지역이며, 또 지역주의는 누가 판별하는가? 프램튼은 문화적인 중심지와 종속적 관계를 지니는 지역주의를 잘못된 구조로 보았다. 근래 10년간 세계적으로 다양한 지역주의가 대두했다. 지역의 개념적, 제도적, 법적인 상태가 어떠한가가 중요한 요인이 된다. 19세기 동안에 유럽사람들이 그들의 정치적 독립을 위한 목적에 활용하기 위하여 부분적으로 거짓된 역사관을 피력했을 때, 유럽지역에서의 지역주의 개념들은 아이리쉬, 까딸로니아, 핀랜드 등을 평가하는 역할이 있었다고 한다. 지역주의를 "감상적인 민족적 편견에서 비롯된 광신적 배타주의"라고 낮추어 바라보는 그로피우스의 시각에 대해, 당당히 맞설 수 있어야 할 것이다. 리꾀르의 말대로 미래에 어떠한 유형의 참된 문화를 유지하는 것은 궁극적으로는 문화나 문명의 단계에서 외래의 영향을 적절하게 하면서 지역문화의 활기찬 형태를 발생시키는 우리 능력에 달려있다. '지역적' 범위는 서구에서 합중국으로 존재하는 경우, 대부분 이질적 문화들의 혼합지역이기 때문이다. 한국과 같이 비교적 단일한 성분의 종족으로 한 국가가 유지된 경우와 미국과 같이 다양한 종족이 모인 경우 등과 비교하면 '지역'이란 이름에 어떤 판단기준이 있어야 할까? 근래 지역적 변동이 적었던 한국의 경우는 상대적으로 재론할 여지가 적다. 그러나 한국의 역사시대 내에서도 확인되지 않은 부분들이 존재하고, 역사시대의 범위를 넘어서 선사시대로 확대하면 '지역'의 개념의 외연적 대상은 더욱 모호해진다.

Manufacturing Technology and Provenance of the Lead Beads (납환의 제작방법 및 납동위원소비 특성 연구)

  • More than 30 lead beads have been excavated from buddhist temples and sites but the production times are unknown the origin. The aim of this study is to estimate manufacturing technique and provenance of 11 beads through the chemical composition and isotope analysis. Results shows that the lead beads are composed of high-purity lead and cast using for 2 semicircle moulds. Furthermore, 11 lead beads are similar in size, chemical composition and casting methods. Lead isotope analysis data suggest that the provenance of lead beads are not Korea peninsula. Also it is estimated that 11 lead beads were divided in 2 groups considering the time and places of production. The future works will be executed additional scientific analysis and historical background due to confirm the manufacturing system and provenance.

  • British housing types began with detached houses using wood based on early Germanic cultures, and gradually divided into multi-story houses such as terraces houses, with the influx of houses using stone from Latin cultures influenced by France. Today, various types of housing types such as detached houses, townhouses, and apartments are mixed, and their origins can be found in housing types that have continued from the past. Housing types existing in the UK continue their context through this historical development process, but housing types in the UK also have been combined with those of other cultures, leading to modern housing types. In this paper, we examine the process of the UK's peculiar development of housing types superimposed with the recurring motion to the traditional European urban structures prior to the industrial revolution during contemporary years, and perimeter block collective housings of today; then, we study the process of applying the UK case as a concept of practical design and planning in order to continuously consider Korea's modern urban structure and corresponding types of housing. Through this process, we explore the identity of the housing type in Korea, which is pursuing fundamental changes in residential culture beyond quantitative housing supply in the process of rapid urbanization.

A Study on the Humanities of the Placeness and Local cuisine in Busan (부산의 장소성과 향토음식에 대한 인문학적 고찰)

  • This study focused at the local and historical characteristics of Busan from the perspective of local culture, along with the local characteristics of Busan. Busan's local cuisine has been reborn and continues to this day, influenced by the geographical and historical characteristics of the place. Places are not merely spatial points marked by coordinates, but are also semantics that include the human experience and emotional aspects of living in them. A place is a mix of culture, a human response to the visible environment and the environment. An understanding of a place provides a basis for understanding personal geography, culture, and history. .One of the specialties of an area with its location is the local cuisine. Local cuisines are not immutable, as they can change according to the characteristics of the area and the preferences of the residents. Busan's local cuisines reflect the geographical features of the city, and include Busan's historical experiences. First, anchovies and eel are well known for their location as ports bordering the sea. Second, Dongnae Pajeon and Sanseong Makgeolli are made using marine products and grains. Thirdly, during Japanese occupation, fish cake and sliced raw fish was enjoyed by residence in Busan. And finally, Milmyun and Pork Soup, the food made by refugees who came down to Busan and settled down during the 1·4 retreat. The local cuisine, which represents an area, goes beyond simply being eaten, enjoyed, and consumed as a commodity, and is a symbol of the geographical and historical characteristics of the area.

A Study on the Influential Factors on the Organizational Commitment of Employees Working in Libraries for the Visually Impaired (시각장애인도서관 직원들의 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The study has a purpose of understanding the factors that affect the oranizational commitment of the employees working in the libraries for visually impaired. To do this, the study chose personal background, emotional labor, role, job characteristics, organizational culture and organizational justice and attempted to find out how these factors affect the oranizational commitment. As a research method, mixed study method was used where quantitative analysis was complemented by qualitative analysis. For quantitative analysis, statistical analysis was conducted using the retrieved questionnaires. For qualitative analysis, the researcher had a one-on-one talk with the experts and employees who want to participate using an interview note was recomposed based on the survey responses. In the study results, emotional labor, job characteristics, organizational culture and organizational justice was proven to have influence on job engagement. To improve the job engagement, autonomy should be guaranteed by minimizing the organizational intervention to the assigned works and expanding the discretionary power. Furthermore, intensive management of the employees' emotional labor and fair process regarding the work performance is highly important.

  • Imitation is an important cultural act that began with human history, and is becoming an essential strategy for innovation and creativity in the 21st century. With the advent of the concept of intellectual property in modern society, the issues of imitation and design have become inseparable. This study, in that it is necessary to understand the cultural identity of the times for the Design Studies, examined the significance of imitation of TV reality audition programs, JTBCand Mnet with a theme of "Mimic Singing" and "LipSync." First, the act of imitation itself is fair and entertaining. Second, imitation ironically expresses the power of originality. Third, imitation is eventually expanding into mixing and transformation. Through these series of processes, the act of imitation goes beyond one-sided follow-up and leads to the intention of improving it creatively. Thus, it is concluded that the issue of imitation is complementary, not mutually exclusive, as an inseparable concept from creativity.

Change of the Age of TV Cooking Programs (TV 요리 프로그램의 시대적 변화에 대한 연구)

  • It is a study of the changing times of cooking programs that were broadcast and aired on TV. The media has shown a lot of changes in appearance, and it's also showing a lot We want to look at various changes and changes in the times through programs on cuisine and food that many people now prefer. In the preceding study, we looked at changes in media formats and changes in social changes and programs until the 2000s. Based on this analysis, the changes of the cooking program were analyzed according to the changes of the times. For the purpose of this study, changes were divided into cooking and historical changes, which were divided and examined by the period. Through this study, we were able to see the change in the cooking program in an era where changes in diet are mixed with changes in culture. It was possible to see the change through programs that consumers could feel, not unilateral delivery of information, and to see the change from the era of experts to culture. Further, through the introduction and challenge of local culture through food, subsequent research aims to see changes and social phenomena caused by the division of programs.

Mentoring activity Effects for Multicultural Students : Using Logic Model (다문화학생을 위한 멘토링 활동 효과 : 논리모델을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of mentoring program using logic model in university students. We surveyed 40 mentors who participated mentoring program in 2014. Data collection were open-ended questions. Questions was made of with a steps in logic model and content analysis was carried out. The results are as follows: first, according to the step of the inputs, many students questioned said that public relations, selection process, matching, orientations, activity costs was proper. Secondly, in the activities, it was showed that mentor met firstly mentee with teacher in school and mentoring activities comprised 80% of studying and 20% of counseling and experiencing. third, in the outputs, most of participants expressed satisfaction in mentoring period, time, place. Lastly, in the outcomes, this program affected both mentor and mentee with cognitive, emotional and behavior development. Consequentially, this results have influence on improvement of following mentoring programs.
