전기자동차 보급 확대로 인해 2018년부터 전 세계적으로 폐배터리가 다량으로 배출될 것으로 예상되어 폐 배터리를 에너지저장장치(ESS)로 재활용하는 방안이 연구되고 있다. 하지만 배터리간 규격이나 수명, 상태의 차이가 존재하기 때문에 셀밸런싱 시스템이 필수로 요구된다. 기존에는 이러한 시스템으로 직렬형 시스템을 채용하고 있지만 모듈화나 신뢰성 등 시스템이 요구하는 조건을 만족시키기 어렵다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 기존 시스템과 차별화 된 분산 충 방전 병렬 시스템을 제안하고 그에 사용되는 전력조절기를 소개하고자 한다.

최근에 많이 사용되는 휴대용 기기의 표시장치인 액정표시장치(LCD)에는 반사형이 많이 사용되고 있다. 반사형 LCD는 전력소모의 많은 부분을 차지하는 backlight를 주변광원으로 대체하여 전력소모를 줄일 수 있는 표시장치로 많이 연구되고 있다. 특히, 반사형 LCD는 밝기면에서 우수한 single-polarizer mode가 적합하다$^{1.3}$ . 그러나 single-polarizer mode는 two-polarizer mode와 비교해서 dark 상태에서의 누설광이 많이 발생하여 대비비가 저하되는 단점이 있다. 이 점을 보완하기 위하여 전 파장 영역에서 편광판에 의해 반사광이 차단될 수 있도록 설계를 했다. Background: To clarify the clinical significance of the aortic nodes in resected non-small cell lung cancer of the left upper lobe. Material and Method: One hundred fifty six patients with resected non-small cell lung cancer of the left upper lobe were studied. Patients who received preoperative induction therapy, non-curative operation or defined as operative mortality were excluded from this study. Result: In N2 left upper lobe tumors, aortic nodes comprised 52.7% of the metastatic mediastinal lymph nodes. In single station N2 disease, a frequently metastasized station was aortic node (64.3%). 5-year actuarial survival according to the N status was 65.0% in N0, 30.4% in N1, and 17.9% in N2. There was no statistically significant difference in survival between N1 and N2 diseases (p=0.06). The patients with metastasis to aortic node alone had a comparatively good prognosis (5-year survival: 35.6%) than other N2 diseases (5-year survival: 4.6%) (p=0.01) and had a similar survival outcome as N1 diseases (p=0.97). Considering the aortic node as N1 node, 5-year survival according to the N status was 65.0% in N0, 31.2% in N1, 4.6% in N2 and significant survival difference was observed between N1 and N2 disease (p=0.00). In multivariate analysis, the male sex (hazard ratio 6.892, p=0.011) and the involvement to the aortic node alone (hazards ratio 2.799, p=0.009) were the significant factors affecting postoperative survival. Conclusion: According to the our data, involvement to the aortic node alone in left upper lobe tumors should be grouped with N1 disease because this combined category reflects the surgical outcome more accurately.

This study investigated the change of benthic macroinvertebrates community due to erosion control dams installed in Wonju, Gangwon by comparing the data before and after a rainy season. It selected a closed-type erosion control dam (boulder stone), an open-type erosion control dam (buttress), and a control area and surveyed two upstream points and two downstream points four times between March and September 2019. The flow velocity mostly increased in the closed-type, open-type, and control areas but decreased in St. 3 after the rainy season. The number of benthic macroinvertebrates species and their populations mostly decreased after the rainy season, and the rate of decrease in the populations in the open-type and control areas were more similar than the closed-type area. Species and populations of the EPT groups mostly decreased after the rainy season. A result of the similarity analysis showed that the closed-type and open-type areas were separated by 38.4% with the control area before the rainy season, but the open-type and control areas were separated by 51.3% with the closed-type area after the rainy season. A result of the principal components analysis (PCA) based on axis 1 showed that the closed-type area had a positive value before and after the rainy season, and the open-type and control areas had a negative value before and after the rainy season. The open-type area was more correlated with the control area than the close type. The analysis of the EPT groups showed the distribution of Ephemeroptera in the closed-type area and Trichoptera in the open-type and control areas. The result of this study shows that the installation of erosion control dam can cause changes in benthic macroinvertebrates community and that the open-type area had a smaller difference community difference from the control area after the rainy season than the closed-type area.
