본 조사를 통해 토양오염유발시설 중 유류 유출사고가 잦은 주유소에서의 오염현황 조사방법과 오염토양에 대한 적정한 정화기법을 제시하고자 하였다. 오염현황 조사결과, 지층구조 는 전반적으로 Clay로 구성되어 있으나 오염토양 주변은 비교적 투수도와 통기성이 우수한 Silty Sand층을 나타내고 있었다. 본 주유소의 경우 주유기 주변(상층부)과 지하유류저장탱크 주변(수직분포)에 오염이 분포되어 있고, 오염원인은 주유기의 배관 파손 및 결함에 의해 발생한 것으로 예상된다. 본 조사지역에 대한 정화기법으로는 토양증기추출기술(SVE)과 불포화대를 생물학적으로 복원할 수 있는 바이오벤팅기술을 결합시킨 Bioslurping이 효과적일 것으로 평가된다. 또한 Bioslurry injection treatment를 병행하여 효과적으로 고농도의 오염토양을 처리하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 판단된다.

The purpose of this study is to assess contaminant transfer and environmental impacts to the surroundings by inadequate control of USTs. Several methodologies can be used to approach for the site assessment depending on the appearance of contaminants on the site and their types. In this case study, randomized and/or triangle matrix techniques were used. As a result, the composition of materials in tank station were appeared in several state. From 1 to 1.5m depth, the soil was composed of reclaimed soils. And 1.8-3.5m depth, silty sand was appeared and about 4m, weathered soil was appeared. Based on the preliminary and actual site investigation by DPT methodologies on the width and depth of the site with analysis of BTEX and TPH, the contamination was found in this tank station and already distributed near areas. Finally, it was found that the hydroflow differences during the season affects the area and depth of contamination.

This study aims to explore the significance of homework help service as a library program to support young people in the community and investigate the characteristics of homework help services in U.S. public libraries. It reviews the previous literature on the cases and trend of homework help services in U.S. public libraries. It also investigates the practice and characteristics of homework help services using an email survey targeting public libraries that offer the services. The results are analyzed in terms of the user, collection, space, public relations and human resources of homework help services. This study may contribute to eliciting the service plan on homework help service in its planning and implementation stage in public libraries.

To examine the current states of community survey performance with its contents and methods, a questionnaire survey was made for 92 public libraries in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon area. 47 libraries(70%) have conducted community survey during last 5 years. The frequency has increased since 2001. Considering the content item as separate entity, the average is 1.7 times per library. The main purpose of the survey was to understand the resident's need and a questionnaire survey method was applied dominantly. Problems involved with the lack of budget, time, and the librarian's ability are identified as obstacles. Based on the analysis, recommendations such as acknowledgement, administrations and financial support, establishment of standards, education and train information are suggested to promote the community survey.

This paper strives to examine the acquisition process in public libraries. It specifically attempts to survey the budget allocation, duties and organizational structures of acquisition departments in public libraries, and the overall process of book selection and acquisition. Data was drawn from a survey of 545 public libraries in the country. Specific statistics were gathered through literature and interviews to be analyzed, even though they were not very detailed in nature. In looking at the actual acquisition process, a thorough comparison on the backgrounds, outlines and characteristics of current projects and an analysis on the specifics of each project was also conducted.

This study is searched in the on actual condition and analysis about the fire fighting measure of 123 main wooden cultural properties designated by the Cultural Heritage Administration. First, the management of wooden cultural properties and the present condition of fire occurrence are arranged. Second, The field research and the information research of related government agencies are done from August. 2008 to October. 2008 about 123 main wooden cultural properties: Cultural properties designation classification, location classification, building area, number of possession cultural properties, present condition of fire fighting, a fire engine drive direction for fire suppression, number of self-defense fire brigade, fire administrator nomination, and the distance and time from a fire station are arranged in this study. Third, the inside and outside present conditions are classified and analyzed by average index for the fire occurrence risk of 123 main wooden cultural properties. And the basic data is arranged for the fire fighting measure of main wooden cultural properties.

한국 품질경영의 추진현황을 파악하고 향후 발전방향을 모색하기 위해서 최근에 산학관에 있는 품질관련 전문가그룹을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 발표는 설문조사 과정을 소개하고 설문조사의 결과를 품질경영 정의, 추진현황, 그리고 향후 발전방향으로 분류하여 제시한다. 본 연구의 의미는 그간 경험적으로 판단되어 왔던 핵심 품질활동에 대한 전문가 그룹의 견해를 설문조사를 통해서 확인하였다는 점과 이를 근거로 향후 발전방향을 제시하였다는 것이다.

한국식품연구원(원장 권대영) 유통시스템연구단 박형우 박사 연구팀은 내수가 포화된 우리포장산업계의 신규시장 개척을 위해 태국의 포장산업 현황을 분석, 조사한 결과를 바탕으로 우리 포장업계의 신(新)시장 개척 및 해외수출을 위한 중요한 정보를 국내 최초로 조사, 분석 하였다고 밝혔다. 연구팀은 자료 조사를 위해 태국 카세사트 대학 포장학과와 2012년 하반기 부터 1년간 태국의 포장협회, 수출입협회, 관련 국가기관 등을 통해 조사하였다. 태국의 포장산업은 폴리올레핀 등 단순 포장재를 주로 생산하며 EVOH 등 고차단 재료, 다층 공압출 필름, Al. 메탈라이징, 냉동포장 분야는 아직 미진한 것으로 나타나 이런 분야에 강점을 가진 우리 포장 업계가 태국 3조원대의 포장산업 시장으로 지경을 넓혀 가는데 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라고 기대하였다. 한국식품연구원 박형우 박사는 "이번 연구 결과는 태국의 포장산업 현황을 조사한 결과로 고차단성, 고품질의 포장재를 필요로 하는 태국 포장재 시장 진출에 필요한 중요한 기초자료로 사용되어 수출증대에 큰 파급효과를 가져올 것"이라고 하였다. 본 고에서는 태국의 포장산업 개요와 특징에 대해 살펴보도록 한다.

수문학적 의미의 일반적인 물순환은 증발, 응결, 강수 등 태양에너지와 중력에 의해 전지구적으로 반복되는 물의 재생산과정을 의미한다. 최근 들어 토목분야에서 언급되기 시작한 물순환시스템은 수문학적인 물수지(water balance)에 저류, 공급, 처리, 재이용 등 인공적인 요소를 감안하여 대상지역의 적절한 수요, 공급을 유지하는 시스템을 의미한다. 생활에서 물이 차지하는 중요성을 감안할 때, 지역의 수문학적 특성과 문화, 경제적 여건을 고려한 효율적인 물순환시스템의 구축은 지역발전의 정도를 가늠할 수 있는 지표라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 물산업 선진국인 영국과 미국의 지역 물순환시스템 설계사례를 조사하고 초기단계인 국내사례와 비교하여 향후 설계지침 개발의 기초자료로 활용하기 위하여 수행되었다. 선진사례 조사는 2009년 이후 미국과 영국에서 수행된 세 건의 물순환 현황조사(water cycle study)와 미국에서 개발된 설계최적화 프로그램을 분석하였고, 국내사례로는 파주운정지구와 광교신도시 개발 시 수행된 물순환시스템 구축사례를 조사하였다. 해외 선진국 사례조사 결과, 물순환시스템 구축은 공통적으로 물순환망 현황조사, 물순환 계획수립, 지역현황 조사, 적용가능 기술조사, 설계 등 5단계를 거쳐 수행되었다. 이 중 가장 중요한 단계는 지역의 물수지와 가용 물 수요 및 공급 시스템을 조사하는 물순환망 현황조사로, 지역의 needs를 정확히 파악하고 양적, 질적 공급목표를 적절하게 선정하여 가장 효율적인 물순환망 계획을 수립하는 바탕이 되었다. 지역현황은 지역 법규 및 투자계획, 사회변화 예측 등 사회적 요소를 고려하는 단계로, 물순환 설계 선진사의 설계 최적화 프로그램의 경우 이러한 지역현황과 사회적 변화 예측의 반영에서 차별성을 갖고 있었다. 적용가능 기술조사의 경우 친환경, 저에너지 기술이 부각되던 추세에서 최근에는 지속가능성이 주요 고려사항 이었다. 국내사업 사례의 경우 규모가 작아 직접적인 비교가 불가하였으나, 5단계의 복잡한 최적화단계가 아닌 물순환망 분석결과와 이해당사자(stakeholders)의 needs를 바탕으로 치수안정성, 친수환경 보장 등의 목표를 수립하였다. 국내에서도 향 후 유역규모(watershed scale)의 대형 물순환기반 복합개발사업이나 대규모 해외사업 참여 시 필요한 기술력 축적의 차원에서 단계별 check list를 포함한 한차원 높은 물순환 설계지침 마련이 필요한 시점이라 하겠다.

DR. 콩고는 국제원조사업으로 이디오파 지역 내 "안전한 식수 공급 사업"을 요청하였다. 이에 2013년 KOICA에서는 당해 지역내 국제원조사업 실시에 대한 성과를 평가하고자, ODA 사업 추진 전 지역주민의 "삶의 질"을 사전 평가하였다. 본 논고는 KOICA의 DR. 콩고 이디오파지역내 "삶의 질" 평가 결과이다. "삶의 질" 분석을 위한 평가기준으로는 1. 현지 지역주민의 물이용 현황, 위생 및 환경 현황, 취수활동이 교육에 미치는 영향, 취수활동이 가정 경제 활동에 미치는 영향 등을 분석하고, 2. 식수공급사업 추진 시, 지역주민이 바라는 식수개발사업의 유형을 살펴보았다. 분석을 위한 자료 조사 방법으로는 설문 방법을 선택하였으며, 설문은 물 이용 현황, 질병 및 위생 관리 현황, 취수활동이 교육 및 가계 경제에 미치는 영향 그리고 지역주민이 바라는 식수사업의 방향 및 이유 등을 중심으로 구성하였다. 설문지 유형은 현황 관련 계량적 수치를 답하는 질문(계량적 평가)과 함께 지역주민이 현황에 관하여 인식하는 정도를 답하는 질문(비-계량적 평가, 리커트 5점 척도 이용)을 함께 구성하였다. 조사범위는 식수개발사업 범위에 있는 DRC 이디오파 28개 마을, 511 가구, 514 주민을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.
