A Study on the Utilization and Satisfaction of Local Residents in College Campus with the Attention Restoration Theory (집중력 회복이론을 통한 지역거주민들의 대학캠퍼스 이용실태 및 만족도)

  • This study aims to examine the usage of and satisfaction with neighborhood parks and university campuses and compare through the RPRS analysis of them to figure out how university campuses, as substitutive green spaces, play the role of curative environment for neighboring people. This study relied on two methods: a descriptive method of researching publications and related scholastic writings and an empirical study of researching how the park and campus has been utilized and researching whether the residents are satisfied with the currently existing space and the environment or not, and finally researching how the university campus open space as a curative environment impacts the satisfaction and utilization through reliability analysis. As a result, contribution of healing environment has a relatively high average contribution of 4 or more points, respectively. These results suggest that urban people think that a relationship between man and nature is very important in the overabundance of stress in modern society. It shows that neighborhoods are higher than university campuses in the explanatory of the Attention Restoration Theory, but the campus is higher than the neighborhood park in similarity of configuration. The result of RPRS analysis shows that the therapeutic qualities of the landscape may be very useful to evaluate a college campus open space in "the Revised Perceived Restoration Scale." The results showed that, in future studies, it will be a great help by widespread use of pre-evaluation of the characteristics of restorative environments in the planning, design and other works. To study the impact of the curative features on evaluating future research locations, the location should provide a variety of purposes and motives. At the same time, it should provide specific design ideas to design-related designers by using perceived restoration scale.

  • Contemporary 21st century, the rapid development of technology has achieved due to the emergence of various digital devices, a variety of media to the diversification of the limits of visual representation is reduced. Therefore, the combination of technology and art, visual arts, giving limits of getting it free to the public will feel fresh new visual impact. Such a new approach to light of a combination of technology and art, a variety of fine art and motion picture of the visual arts, such as has been recognized as a new genre. Of the resolution of the projector by utilizing the current reality and unreality beyond the boundaries of the building or structure in the city, as a schematic design of the screen projected structure and mapping of the art technology in an attempt to integrate recent has been studied in various ways. The projected structure design and the mapping of the art technology in an attempt to incorporate recent research has been diverse. In this study, as a new technology of a projection mapping to study the technique of looking for the definition of mapping practices to maximize the effectiveness of Visual Perception 3D animation was applied to a case study. A combination of 3D animation and project mapping in the future the fusion of art and technology to meet the zeitgeist with new possibilities of visual art to create synergies that is expected.

Extracting Building Boundary from Aerial LiDAR Points Data Using Extended χ Algorithm (항공 라이다 데이터로부터 확장 카이 알고리즘을 이용한 건물경계선 추출)

  • It is essential and fundamental to extract boundary information of target object via massive three-dimensional point data acquired from laser scanner. Especially extracting boundary information of manmade features such as buildings is quite important because building is one of the major components consisting complex contemporary urban area, and has artificially defined shape. In this research, extended ${\chi}$-algorithm using geometry information of point data was proposed to extract boundary information of building from three-dimensional point data consisting building. The proposed algorithm begins with composing Delaunay triangulation process for given points and removes edges satisfying specific conditions process. Additionally, to make whole boundary extraction process efficient, we used Sweep-hull algorithm for constructing Delaunay triangulation. To verify the performance of the proposed extended ${\chi}$-algorithm, we compared the proposed algorithm with Encasing Polygon Generating Algorithm and ${\alpha}$-Shape Algorithm, which had been researched in the area of feature extraction. Further, the extracted boundary information from the proposed algorithm was analysed against manually digitized building boundary in order to test accuracy of the result of extracting boundary. The experimental results showed that extended ${\chi}$-algorithm proposed in this research proved to improve the speed of extracting boundary information compared to the existing algorithm with a higher accuracy for detecting boundary information.

Evacuation safety analysis depending on the type of subway platform and ticket barrier (지하철 승강장과 개찰구 유형별 대피안전성 분석)

  • With the rapid development of modern society, subway has become one of the most typical urban transport systems. Since fire accident occurred at Daegu subway in 2003, importance of life safety and disaster prevention have been widely recognized and many studies have been carried out. As a result of these studies, fire-retardant and non-combustible interior material and platform screen door with passenger guide indication device have been developed, but studies on a subway evacuation criteria have been in a stalemate. Therefore, this study is intended to improve the subway evacuation standard. It is very difficult to take into account whole subway system, so a typological approach to a ticket was carried out referring to previous studies focused on a subway platform. this paper selected the most common subway platforms and estimated evacuation time among 10 platforms from previous studies and 8 from this study. As a result, evacuation time exceeded 6 minutes which is the guideline of existing standard. Therefore, it is necessary to update the standard for evacuation time and add supplementary conditions which can help establishing the measures for safety facilities and prevention measures.

  • As a modem urban train is getting complex in terms of high-technology in its systems and components, the failure management should be performed with scientific and systematic technique. FMEA is a technique to analyze the failure trends of component parts and influences to the higher level system in order to discover the design incompleteness and potential defects, which is for improving reliability. Especially, FMECA (Failure Mode Effects, and Criticality Analysis) is used in case that the criticality that has an immense influence to the system is important. In case of urban train, in its design and manufacturing steps, FMEA is frequently used as an analysis technique to meet the safety objectives and eliminate potential hazards/failures since the concepts of reliability of train is introduced these days. Though, FMEA technique in the maintenances steps lacks in its investigation and applications yet. FMEA is also not applied to the trains operated by Seoul metro in the design and manufacture steps excepts the newest trains. In this paper, through analyzing the failures/maintenance data of the belt-type door systems used in trains operated in Seoul metro Line 1, which is accumulated in RIMS (Rolling-stock Information Maintenance System), FMEA procedures to the belt-type door engines are proposed. Especially, an effort is made, to approach the detailed FMECA procedures to the door magnet valve and switch and door engine devices which vastly influences the customer safety and satisfaction.

An Analysis of the Public Data for Making the Ambient Intelligent Service (공간지능화서비스 구현을 위한 공공데이터 분석)

  • In current society, the digital era that makes enormous amount of data, and the diversified city, the smart space, which has characteristics of creating, collecting and representing data, is appeared. After 2012, in the social media environment called hyper-connected society with wide-spread smart phone, people started to get interested in public data and big data by generalized mobile device and SNS. At first, development of forming platform of data was focused, but now, many different idea from diverse area have been suggested about data analysis and usage to visualize the space intellectualization service. To focus on the visualization process to increase the usage of this public data for ordinary people more than specialized people, this research grasps the present condition of open data and public data service from the current public data portal and considers the applicability of them. As the result of research, the analysis and application of data to ordinary people decrease the use of paper documents, and this research will help to develop the application which is fast and accurate about individual behavior and demand to utilize public data service in intellectual space.

A Study on the Awareness and a Method to Popularize Korean Traditional Sweets (한과류의 인지도와 대중화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study aimed to gauge the public awareness of the cultural value and superiority of Korean traditional sweets. Furthermore, it evaluated the obstacles that the Korean traditional sweet industry faces in the modern society, and a method to popularize it. It also analyzed the awareness of Korean traditional sweets. Both male and female study subjects showed the highest awareness of yakgwa and the lowest of chasugwa. Female respondents showed significantly (p<0.05~p<0.001) higher awareness of Osaekdasik, Hukimjadasik, Bellflower-junggwa, and Genseng-junggwa than male respondents. Maejakgwa, Osaekdasik, Rice-dasik, and Hukimjada- sik showed significant difference in awareness by the area survey respondents originated. Contrarily, Walnut-gangjung had significantly (p<0.001) higher awareness in rural areas than in more urban areas (e.g., large cities and small and medium-sized cities). Both male and female respondents answered (OR indicated) that the obstacles facing the Korean traditional sweet industry are uncommon products and expensive price. Both male and female respondents said that they had Korean traditional sweets less because it was harder to purchase than western sweets (due to limited access to these sweets), less delicious, and too expensive. Both male and female respondenst suggested that the urgent tasks to popularize the Korean traditional sweets were diversification in shape and ingredient, developing various new flavors, and cheaper products. Both male and female respondents responded that product diversification and strengthened marketing were urgent tasks to industrialize Korean traditional sweets. Therefore, it was believed that failure in generalization was the urgent problem of the Korean traditional sweet industry, and that Korean traditional sweets were harder to purchase because of lower accessibility than western sweets. To popularize Korean traditional sweets, it may be necessary to develop sweets in various shapes and ingredients, flavors suiTable to modern people, become cheaper in price, and have fancier (OR better) packaging.

  • 어린이들이 자라나면서 인지지능발달도 중요하지만 현대를 살아가는 훌륭한 성인으로서 성장하여 사회나 조직 속에서 보다 성공적인 삶을 살아가려면 정서지능의 발달은 매우 중요하다. 어린이의 정서지능발달이 농촌체험을 통해서 이루어진다면 농촌측면에서 1석2조의 효과를 가져올 수 있는 것이다. 도시의 어린이들이 농촌체험을 하면서 정서지능을 키워갈 때, 우리 농촌에서는 농촌과 농업의 중요성을 알리고, 체험소득을 얻을 수 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목표는 농촌체험의 정서지능 향상 효과를 구명하는데 있다. 연구방법은 서울시 교육청에 지원학교 가운데 1개 학교를 선정하였으며, 대상학교의 5학년 2개 반 아동 중에 체험지원 아동 30명을 실험집단으로 선정하고, 같은 학교 같은 학년 1개 반 아동 30명을 비교집단으로 선정하였다. 조사도구는 청소년용 EQ검사 척도를 활용하였으며(문용린, 1999), 전혀 그렇지않다(0점)부터 매우 그렇다(4점)까지 총 40개 문항으로 구성되었다. 자료수집방법은 실험집단과 비실험집단 학생을 대상으로 사전 및 사후 질문지 120부가 활용되었다. 분석방법으로는 평균, 표준편차, 공분산분석, 독립표본t-검증, 대응표본t-검증이 활용되었다. 적용 체험프로그램은 초등학생을 대상으로 총 9회차로 포도이야기, 참새와 방앗간, 버섯따기 체험, 고구마 캐기, 허브도감만들기 등과 같은 농촌체험프로그램을 실시하였다. 연구결과 실험집단과 비실험집단에 대한 사전 정서지능 측정에서는 실험집단과 비교집단의 정서지능이 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 농촌체험프로그램을 실시한 후 사후검사에서는 실험집단(99.76)이 비교집단(97.79)보다 정서지능이 높게 나타났다. 실험집단의 정서지능의 농촌체험프로그램 사전 및 사후 결과 정서지능이 총점이 평균 7.08 정도 향상된 것으로 나타났으며, 정서지능에 사전 및 사후 결과의 평균을 하위 영역별로 살펴보면 '정서인식'이 1.76, '사고촉진'이 3.32, '정서지식'이 2.40정도 향상되었다. 하지만 비교집단의 정서지능은 사전과 사후간의 유의한 차이가 없어서 정서지능의 변화가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 농촌체험프로그램을 지속적으로 9회 실시한 후 사전 및 사후 정서지능 검사에서 체험집단이 비체험집단보다 6점이나 더 높게 나타나 농촌체험을 통하여 정서지능 향상에 효과 있음이 구명되었다. 이 결과를 토대로 농촌체험은 정서 지능향상에 효과를 주고 있다고 할 수 있다. 앞으로 이러한 결과가 우리 농촌관광마을이나 체험농장에 홍보자료로 활용되었으면 한다.

  • Recently, our company has entered the modern knowledge company, government policy and regulation has a big influence on people's lives. Also, unlike in the past, I am hoping for administrative intervention as a problem peculiar to the environment, such as environmental housing problems, urban transportation problems, misuse problems, etc. and corporate pending issues. In this study, through the 10th year of the Seoul Special Citizen Judicial Police Force, if the local autonomy is a special envoy, it will try to present the correctness in the organization luck. As a measure to secure the nature of administrative action, the method of investigation was through the study of the execution process of administrative penalty and its result based on the statistical data of Seoul City. Therefore, we will analyze the process and operation of the 10-year organizational change of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's police force and examine how the police force of the people's livelihoods, which is a special investigation organization, is expanding its duties in order to strengthen the enforcement power of the administration. Also, we will make future-oriented suggestions to encourage the readjustment of the current relevant laws, such as the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, and to actively accommodate the expected changes of the special law police organization in charge of the enforcement of the police system.

Development and Implementation of a 2-Phase Calibration Method for Gravity Model Considering Accessibility (접근성 지표를 도입한 중력모형의 2단계 정산기법 개발 및 적용)

  • Gravity model has had the major problem that the model explains the characteristics of travel behavior with only deterrence factors such as travel time or cost. In modern society, travel behavior can be affected not only deterrence factors but also zonal characteristics or transportation service. Therefore, those features have to be considered to estimate the future travel demand accurately. In this regard, there are two primary aims of this study: 1. to identify the characteristics of inter-zonal travel, 2. to develop the new type of calibration method. By employing accessibility variable which can explain the manifold pattern of trip, we define the zonal travel behavior newly. Furthermore, we suggest 2-phase calibration method, since existing calibration method cannot find the optimum solution when organizing the deterrence function with the new variables. The new method proceeds with 2 steps; step 1.estimating deterrence parameter, step 2. finding balancing factors. The validation results with RMSE, E-norm, C.R show that this study model explains the inter-zonal travel pattern adequately and estimate the O/D pairs precisely than existing gravity model. Especially, the problem with estimation of short distance trip is overcomed. In conclusion, it is possible to draw the conclusion that this study suggests the possibility of improvement for trip distribution model.
