Study of new materials, which has been going on in many fields of modem art since the beginning of this century, has cintributed much to the development of modem art. In this regard, it is noteworthy that many in the field of fiber art have experimented with non-traditional, indusrial materials with some notable success. Industrial materials represent the world of thechnology we live in and help us form the kind of view on art that is reflective of the present age and its social milieu. Industrial materials, when used as media for art, also present us with new concepts and possibilities for artistic expression. In fiber art, the use of industrial materials has greatly expanded the very idea of 'fiber', effectively ferring the imagination of fiber aetists to experiment with diverse materials and new mathodology. Overcoming the traditional constraints of technique-orienthd their discipline, fiber artists began to pay more attention to matiere or the material jtself and the infinite variety of surface, color and texture that it promises. And informed by this newly discovered aesthetice of the material. fiber artists began in eamest to expand the area of their artistic expression, producing multi-dimensional works, conquering space and experimentiong with hugc environmantal works.

Streptococcus sp. is generally known as a strain that produces hyaluronic acid. In this study, we focused on ingredients other than hyaluronic acid among several metabolites produced by Streptococcus sp. during cultivation. The hair experimental sample (HAIRCLE^TM) was prepared with Streptococcus sp. culture filtrate under the condition that hyaluronic acid was not produced and the effect on the hair was identified. Tensile strength of hair was tested with a universal testing machine (UTM). Surface properties of a hair were examined with an atomic force microscope (AFM). Our results suggest that HAIRCLE^TM could prevent damage to a hair such as destroyed-cuticle, increased-faction force, and broken-hair. Furthermore, hair-related experiments confirmed that HAIRCLE^TM could promote the expression of hair growth factors VEGF, HGF, and Wnt10b and mitigate male hair loss by inhibiting androgen receptors and TGF-β2 expression. In addition, it was confirmed that the expression of barrier-related factors (INV, CLDN-1) was increased for oxidative stress, and the COX-2 expression, an inflammatory factor, was inhibited, thereby improving damaged scalp barriers and alleviating induced inflammation.

현대과학에 의하여 밝혀진 고려인삼의 약리효능을 보면 뇌 기능 개선, 통증감소, 암 예방 및 항암작용, 면역기능 항진, 간 기능 개선, 항당뇨, 혈압 조절기능, 항피로, 항 스트레스, 여성 갱년기장애 개선, 남성 발기부전 개선, 항 산화, 항 노화 등에 관한 효능을 들 수가 있으며, 고려인삼의 효능성분으로서는 ginsenosides(인삼사포닌), 페놀화합물, 폴리아세틸렌화합물, 다당체 특히 산성다당체, 펩타이드 등이 주류를 이루고 있다. 효능성분 중에는 특히 ginsenosides에 관한 연구가 많이 수행되었는 바, 고려인삼이 타국삼에 비하여 다양한 종류의 ginsenosides가 함유되어 있다는 것이 판명되었다.

이 연구는 한국 전통사회의 교육별이 오늘날이 교육열과 어떻게 연관되는가를 규명 하고자 하는 역사적 고찰로서 특히 과거제도가 가족 사회에 끼친 영향을 중심으로 분석하였 다 자료는 관련된 역사자료와 생활자료인 1차사료와 2차사료로 대별되는데 그중에서 여성의 간찰과 구비전승된 규방가사 서사민요, 무가 등과 현장조사에 기반한 민속자료가 주요자료 로 분석되었다, 그리하여 내용분석법과 역사민속학적인 방법에 의하여 밝혀진 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 과거제도의 장악을 통하여 확립된 중앙집권의 관료제와 학문숭상의 전통 그리 고 과거급제를 해야 가능해지는 관리로서의 등용을 주요가치로 지향하였던 출세주의 또 가 족의 영광은 집안남성의 과거급제라는 점에서 여성들이 내면화할 수밖에 없었던 가족주의가 적극적인 교육열의 역사적인 뿌리임을 밝혔다 이러한 전통은 교육기회가 평등해진 현대사회 에 여전히 한국인의 의식 깊숙이 내재되어 있다 그러나 학문숭상의 전통중에서 '수행'을 겸 함 학문을 추구한 사람파의 전통은 단절되고 출세를 목표로 하는 '학벌' 위주의 왜곡된 전통 만이 지속되어 과열된 교육열로 표출된다.

The purpose of this study was to make new suggestions for the production of high value-added, fashion goods by reviewing and synthesizing the design of dress shirts. (Ed-I've combined paragraphs here) For this study, 1491 photographs on the dress shirts were collected for analysis from men's collection$(2001\sim2006)$. Concerning the actual characteristics of men's fashion design, the following conclusions were obtained from the analysis of the dress shirts of men's collection. (Ed-I've combined paragraphs here) First, feminine ornaments such as frill, pin tuck, and embroidery can be seen in men's dress shirts and men's sexuality has changed into a softer men's image. Second, asymmetry balance using detachability are expressed in the collars, sleeves, and plackets of men's dress shirts. Third, in a very novel suggestion, a combination of two items was designed in a dress shirt and variant shirt forms were created. Fourth, formal style is mainly shown in men's shirts and the traditional classic is increasingly becoming emphasized recently

현대사회에서는 다양한 방법, 통로로 자신들의 의견을 표현하고 또한 감정들을 표출한다. 이렇게 표출된 다양한 문장 및 감정들을 통해 각 연령별로 어떤 문제를 가지고 있는지, 무슨 상황에 놓여있는지 등을 알 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이렇게 모여진 감성대화 말뭉치를 이용해 청소년들이 문장에서 추출한 단어들과 감정, 상황과 어떠한 연관성을 보이는지 확인해보고자 연구를 진행하였다. 청소년들이 남성의 경우 학교폭력 및 따돌림과 관련한 문제, 여성의 경우 가족관계와 관련한 문제와 연관성이 크다는 것을 확인하였다.

현대사회에서 건강을 해치는 요인으로 흡연, 당뇨, 비만 및 스트레스 등이 있다. 이와 같은 요인들로 순환기질환의 발병이 증가하고 있으며, 특히 심장 질환 사망률이 점차 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 심장 질환에 대한 조기 진단을 위한 음성 분석학적 특징 요소를 분석하여 결과값을 추출하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 대전 지역에 거주하고 있는 성인 남성중에서 심장 질환을 앓고 있는 환자들과 심장에 이상이 없는 정상인들로 피실험자 집단을 구성하고 이들의 음성을 수집하여 음성 분석학적 특징 요소들을 추출하고자 한다. 특히 동의보감에서 제시한 심장의 소리를 음성 공학적으로 입증하기 위해 제 5 포먼트와 지터 등의 출력값을 비교, 분석하고자 한다.

Prostate cancer is the most predominant cancer in men and related death rate increases every year. Till date, there is no effective therapy for androgen independent prostate cancer. To investigate the mechanism for cell growth inhibition or apoptosis in human androgen independent prostate cancer PC-3 cells after gamma irradiation. The aim of this study was to examine the potential of gamma irradiation to induce apoptosis in PC-3 cells and to assess the mechanism of gamma irradiation-induced apoptosis. Five different assays were employed in this study: cell proliferation assay, morphological assessments of apoptotic cells, DNA fragmentation analysis, quantification of apoptosis by annexin V (AV) and propidium iodide (PI) staning, and western blot analysis. Cell viability was inversely related to radiation dose. DAPI-positive cells were detected 48 hr after 40 Gy radiation exposure. And nuclear morphological changes of cells were observed by gamma irradiation. DNA ladder patterns in the cells exposed to gamma-radiation were appeared at 24 hr. Also, gamma irradiation induces apoptosis of PC-3 cells via Caspase3, Bax and PARP-dependent fashion.

'gender' means sex in a social sense and 'sex'is more close to the concept of that discussed in biological light. 'Gender is more adequate word in expressing gender equality of both sexes than 'sex'that gives us discriminating impression and implies tout we should actualize equality between both sexes in all field of social activities. Though more and more women have been advanced into the job that was once regarded as a men only-area and the concrete list of iou for men and women has been changed in the process of job structure transition, women stiff take full charge of all kind of houseworks so they're still under the double torture of housework and their job. Most of the job in which men used to engaged in the past is now mechanized. and we can't deny that modern technology triggered women's participation in public affairs by helping them to lead comfortable family life without any assistant or trustee for housework. Under these trend of our times, we made an attempt to look into design mainly from the standpoint of women by raising the issue of correlation between women's labor in society and houseworks in the hope that current design and changes into one that can rejects women's position and allows them independent choice in the field involved with our real life.
