A New Residual Attention Network based on Attention Models for Human Action Recognition in Video

  • With the development of deep learning technology and advances in computing power, video-based research is now gaining more and more attention. Video data contains a large amount of temporal and spatial information, which is the biggest difference compared with image data. It has a larger amount of data. It has attracted intense attention in computer vision. Among them, motion recognition is one of the research focuses. However, the action recognition of human in the video is extremely complex and challenging subject. Based on many research in human beings, we have found that artificial intelligence-like attention mechanisms are an efficient model for cognition. This efficient model is ideal for processing image information and complex continuous video information. We introduce this attention mechanism into video action recognition, paying attention to human actions in video and effectively improving recognition efficiency. In this paper, we propose a new 3D residual attention network using convolutional neural network based on two attention models to identify human action behavior in the video. An evaluation result of our model showed up to 90.7% accuracy.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel method for analyzing human interactions based on the walking trajectories of human subjects. Our principal assumption is that an interaction episode is composed of meaningful smaller unit interactions, which we call 'sub-interactions.' The whole interactions are represented by an ordered concatenation or a network of sub-interaction models. From the experiments, we could confirm the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method by analyzing the inner workings of an interaction network and comparing the performance with other previous approaches.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of need for closure on college students' problem recognition and communication behavior. Specifically, this research examined differences about situation recognitions and communication behaviors across level of need for closure factors (preference for order and structure, preference for predictability, decisiveness, discomfort with ambiguity, closed-mindeness). The results show that the participants with higher level of discomfort with ambiguity and low level of closed-mindeness are more likely to high problem recognition, constraint recognition, involvement recognition, and doing active communication behaviors.

Human Activity Recognition using Model-based Gaze Direction Estimation (모델 기반의 시선 방향 추정을 이용한 사람 행동 인식)

  • In this paper, we propose a method which recognizes human activity using model-based gaze direction estimation in an indoor environment. The method consists of two steps. First, we detect a head region and estimate its gaze direction as prior information in the human activity recognition. We use color and shape information for the detection of head region and use Bayesian Network model representing relationships between a head and a face for the estimation of gaze direction. Second, we recognize event and scenario describing the human activity. We use change of human state for the event recognition and use a rule-based method with combination of events and some constraints. We define 4 types of scenarios related to the gaze direction. We show performance of the gaze direction estimation and human activity recognition with results of experiments.

The Effect of SME Workers' Perception of Organizational Support on Turnover Intention and the Moderating Effect of Abusive Supervision (중소기업 종사자의 조직지원인식이 이직의도에 미치는 영향과 상사의 비인격적 행동의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how SMEs' perception of organizational support affects turnover intention, and to investigate the moderating effect of abusive supervisionin the relationship between organizational support perception and turnover intention. As a result of the analysis of the study, First, it was confirmed that organizational support perception had a negative (-) effect on turnover intention. Second, the higher the organizational support awareness, the lower the turnover intention, but when the abusive supervision in intervened, it was found that the organizational support perception offsets the effect that reduces the turnover intention again. That is, emotional support, turnover intention still appeared even if the abusive supervisionin was involved, but instrumental support had no effect on turnover intention when the abusive supervisionin was involved. This study is meaningful in that it expanded the scope of manufacturing services, semiconductors, and IT industries of SMEs with high turnover intentions.

A Study on the Effects of Financial Literacy and Financial Management Behavior on Entrepreneurship Awareness: Mediating Effect of Entrepreneurship (금융이해력과 재무관리행동이 창업인식에 미치는 영향 연구: 기업가정신의 매개효과)

  • This study examined the effect of college students' financial literacy and financial management behavior on entrepreneurial awareness and the mediating effect of entrepreneurship. To this end, a survey was conducted targeting university students in Busan and Gyeongnam area, A total of 207 responses were verified using SPSS 28.0 as a sample. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that financial literacy and financial management behavior had a positive effect on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial awareness. Entrepreneurship was found to have a positive mediating effect between financial literacy and entrepreneurial awareness, financial management behavior and entrepreneurial awareness. As financial literacy improves, it leads to desirable financial management behavior, increases the potential to make more financially knowledgeable and responsible economic decisions, and increases the will to achieve future financial goals. The results of this study suggest that financial literacy and entrepreneurship education are very important during college education in order for potential entrepreneurs to recognize and promote entrepreneurship.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the current status of the challenging behaviors of the developmentally disabled living in residential facilities for the disabled in Gyeonggi-do and whether social workers in residential facilities recognize the challenging behaviors, and then to draw implications for establishing an intervention for the challenging behaviors. As a research method, a survey was conducted targeting 145 social workers in residential facilities for the disabled in Gyeonggi-do. The collected data were calculated as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation using SPSS 25.0. As a result of the study, first, it was analyzed that the status of injuries related to challenging behaviors of persons with developmental disabilities was high. Second, it was analyzed that the social worker's perception of the challenging behavior of the developmentally disabled is that they are considering job change because of psychological trauma. The coping ability and ability to cope with it were excellent, and they did not achieve excellent results. Learn more about acting in a professional manner.

Mediating Effect of Career Adaptability in the Relationship between Strengths Knowledge and Occupational Engagement of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 강점인식과 진로관여행동: 진로적응성의 매개효과)

  • This study aims to investigate the mediating effect of career adaptability in the relationship between strengths knowledge and occupational engagement for nursing students. The participants of this study were 284 nursing students in three Universities in G City, J Province. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis. Also mediation analysis was performed according to the Baron and Kenny method and Sobel test. The career adaptability showed a partial mediating effect between the strengths knowledge and the occupational engagement(Z=6.66, p<.001). The positive the strengths knowledge(β=.24, p<.001), the higher the career adaptability(β=.49, p<.001), the higher the occupational engagement level, and the explanatory power to explain occupational engagement was 47%. In order to increase the level of career engagement of nursing students, specific behavioral strategies for fostering career adaptability as well as cognitive guidance strategies that enable individuals to recognize their strengths in career-related education and counseling are needed.

  • 대학생의 대부분은 진로에 대한 명확한 목표가 설정되지 않거나 졸업 후 진로 미결정으로 인해 어려움을 느낀다. 대학 생활 중 진로의 선택과 결정, 결정을 위해 정보를 수집하고 탐색하는 활동들은 매우 중요하며 대학에서는 진로를 '창업' 으로 결정한 학생들을 위해 다양한 창업교육 프로그램을 제공하고 있다. 정부의 적극적인 지원으로 창업교육은 양적 성장을 하였지만 실제 창업까지는 한계가 있다. 창업을 하기 위한 적극적 창업준비행동으로 이루어질 수 있는 창업교육의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 대학생의 창업교육이 창업준비행동에 미치는 영향 관계를 분석하고 두 영향 관계에서 계획된 우연기술에 의한 기회인식의 매개적 효과를 조사·연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 대학에서 지원하는 창업교육의 참여 형태, 교육 만족도, 참여횟수 등 창업교육의 실태를 파악하고 창업을 하기 위한 정보수집활동과 도구구비활동 및 목표달성을 위한 적극적 노력 등 창업준비행동을 분석한다. 본 연구를 통해 개인적 관점에서 '창업교육' 이라는 우연한 행동을 기회로 인식하고 창업준비에 긍정적으로 활용할 수 있도록 체계화된 창업교육의 필요성을 시사하며 대학의 취업만을 강조하는 교육 패러다임을 변화할 수 있는 창업교육의 질적 성장의 중요성을 제시하고자 한다.

The Effect of Middle Leader Impersonal Behavior of SMEs on the Counterproductive Work Behaviors of Organization Member -Focused on the Trickle down Effect and Moderating Effect of POS- (중소기업 중간리더의 비인격적 행동이 구성원의 반생산적 과업행동에 미치는 영향 -적하효과와 조직지원인식의 조절효과를 중심으로-)

  • This study examined the effect of behavior on leader' s impersonal behavior and organizational members 'semi - productive task and the moderating effect of organizational support perception. As a result of conducting a questionnaire survey on SMEs of auto parts industry in Chungnam, Sejong, and Daejeon, the non-personality behaviors of the top leaders had a significant effect on the non-personality behaviors of the middle leaders (p <.001, ${\beta}=.910$). The results of this study are as follows. First, the relationship between the leader and the supervisor was significantly influenced by the non-personality behaviors. In addition, higher leaders have a moderating effect on negative behaviors and semi-productive task behaviors toward the organization of members. The control effect of semi - productive task behavior was confirmed. The results of this study provide suggestions for reducing economic loss and social loss due to semi-productive task behavior of organizational members by revealing the phenomenon of non-personality behavior of middle leader to non-personality behavior of upper leader.
