제초제의 해독제란 제초제 약해로부터 작물을 선택적으로 보호하는 화합물을 의미한다. 현재 사용되고 있는 제초제 해독제는 작물에 흡수, 이행되는 제초제의 양을 줄여주거나 작물체내에서 제초제의 대사작용 속도를 촉진하여 무독성화 시킴으로써 작물의 약해를 경감시킨다.

우리 군도 2000년 6월 전략화 심의를 통과한 후, 2006년부터 도입될 신형 해독제 주사기인 KHI-6에 대한 개발을 업체가 추진하고 있다. 이 HI-6 과련 해독제는 기존 PAM 관련 KMARK-1 보다 Soman 신경 작용제에 해독 능력이 증강되고, LD50 수치가 높고(자체 독성이 낮음을 의미), 이원화 자동 주사기로써 간편성을 더한다고 한다. 이에 우리도 신형 해독제 주사기에 대한 기본 구조와 해독 효과, 장점과 단점, 도입에 관련된 사전 지식, 외국군의 운용 실태 등에 대해 알아보았다

This is a study about the audience's aspect of decoding the photography and words comprising photojournalism. For this study, the way of audience's decoding five pictures depicting a foreign worker's death and the captions for each were analyzed. Ethnographic method was used to find distinctive features of the audiences in decoding the pictures. Picture images without any title and caption shown to audiences bring quite different decodings from those of picture images titled and captioned. This led to the following three conclusions. First, picture image added by caption transforms the way the audience decode. Second, the cultural background of an audience works as a major variable, which means how the audience decode the picture image depends on what sort of cultural background the audience has. Third, it is also learned that picture image not captioned would not be able to represent the reality faithfully. The author made an experimental trial in this thesis how the communication process works successfully in a reality that photojournalists tried to represent and the way the audience decode it for the successful communication in photojournalism.

차의 풍미의 차이는 차잎 자체가 가자고 있는 화학성분 조성의 차이와 가공방법의 차이에 기인하고, 차잎의 화학성분은 차나무의 훔종, 토질, 기후, 재배기술과 시비 등에도 영향을 받는다. 차의 특유한 맛의 주성분은 주로 카테킨과 아미노산류이다. 단맛과 감칠맛은 주로 아미노산 때문이지만 당류도 어느 정도 기여한다. 카테킨류에 의한 최근의 연구결과를 보면 노화를 방지하는 1)항산화 작용 2) 항종양, 발암 억제작용 3) 콜레스테롤 량의 조정 4)고혈압과 혈당 강하작용 5)항균작용과 해독작용이 있다.

The balance between metabolic activation of xenobiotics and detoxification of their active metabolites may playa vital role in controlling mutagenic and carcinogenic processes. To assess the possible role of P. ginseng C.A. Meyer in detoxification of xenobiotics, we studied the effects of ginseng on several parameters of the monooxygenasd system, including benzo(a) pyrene monooxygenase(AHH) and benzo(a) pyrene epoxide hydratase(EH) as well as effects of ginseng on the conjugation system. Test animals receiving ginseng saponin-fraction induced epoxide hydratase activity to over $150\%$ (20mg/kg b.w.) of the control and increased glutathione transferase activity (GSH-T) up to $140\%$ (20mg/kg b.w.) of the control, whereas no significant changes were observed in the benzopyrene monooxygenase activity (AHH). Such a selective induction of the inactivation enzyme epoxide hydratase, combined with a marked elevation of the detoxifying enzyme glutathione transferase, without a concurrent induction of benzopyrene monooxygenase which is responsible for the formation of carcinogenic intermediates, demonstrates that ginseng has the potential to alter the metabolic course of carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and thereby enhance detoxification. Thus, ginseng may play an important role in the prevention of tumors caused by carcinogens.
