GPS/INS Fusion Using Multiple Compensation Method Based on Kalman Filter (칼만 필터를 이용한 GPS/INS융합의 다중 보정 방법)

  • In this paper, we propose multiple location error compensation algorithm for GPS/INS fusion using kalman filter and introduce the way to reduce location error in 9-axis navigation devices for implementing inertial navigation technique. When evaluating location, there is an increase of location error. So navigation systems need robust algorithms to compensate location error in GPS/INS fusion. In order to improve robustness of 9-axis inertial sensor(mpu-9150) over its disturbance, we used tilt compensation method using compensation algorithm of acceleration sensor and Yaw angle compensation to have exact azimuth information of the object. And it shows improved location result using these methods combined with kalman filter.

  • Against Anomaly of GPS, there are several projects of independent satellite navigation systems like Galileo of Europe and QZSS of Japan and modernization of terrestrial navigation system like Loran. In domestic, the need of independent navigation system was proposed and DGPS signal was nominated as the possible substitute. The DGPS signal uses medium frequency, which travels through the surface and cause the additional delay rather than the speed of light according to Conductivities and elevations of the irregular terrain. The similar approach is Locan-C. Loran-C has been widely used as the maritime location system. Loran-C uses the ASF estimation method and provides more precise positioning. However there was rarely research on this area in Korea Therefore, we introduce the legacy guaranteed model of additional delay(ASF) and present the results of implementation. With the comparison of the original Monteath results and BALOR results respectively, we guarantee that the implementation is absolutely perfect. For further works, we're going to apply the ASF estimation model to Korean DGPS system with the Korean terrain data.

  • A new technique for Attitude & Heading Reference System (AHRS) by using sequential measurement noise covariance (SMNC) is addressed in a vibration environments in this paper. In particular, a low-cost inertial measurement unit in general diverges in the acceleration phase or vibrating environments due to inherent properties of gravity and acceleration. In this paper, by considering current and prior measurements to estimate actual attitudes and headings in a local frame, the proposed technique overcomes these problems efficiently. Finally, the performance of the suggested approach is verified by numerical simulations.

  • PDR은 일반적으로 IMU센서로 부터의 가속도와 각속도를 측정하여 보행자의 위치를 추적하는 시스템이다. IMU센서로부터 측정된 가속도와 각속도 값은 센서를 기준으로 하기 때문에 보행자가 인지하는 고정 좌표계와는 차이가 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 회전행렬을 사용하며 이후 계속해서 측정되는 각속도를 통해 회전행렬을 업데이트 한다. 업데이트된 회전행렬을 통해 좌표계를 환산하고 환산된 좌표계의 가속도 값으로부터 보행자는 고정좌표계 기준으로 위치 추적이 가능하다. 하지만 회전행렬을 업데이트 하는 과정에서 센서의 세 축이 이상적으로 수직이 아니라면 업데이트 과정에서 각속도의 오차가 누적되고 이는 좌표계를 환산에 영향을 끼쳐 위치 및 속도 추적 정확성을 낮춘다. 물리적인 Bias가 PDR 시스템에 누적오차를 발생시킨다. 이에 제안하는 센서 축 편향 보정 알고리즘은 IMU 센서의 물리적 축 오차를 보정해주어 더 정확한 위치 추적을 가능하게 한다. 또한 Matlab을 통해 데이터를 분석하고 알고리즘의 필요성을 보인다.

INS/Vision Integrated Navigation System Considering Error Characteristics of Landmark-Based Vision Navigation (랜드마크 기반 비전항법의 오차특성을 고려한 INS/비전 통합 항법시스템)

  • The paper investigates the geometric effect of landmarks to the navigation error in the landmark based 3D vision navigation and introduces the INS/Vision integrated navigation system considering its effect. The integrated system uses the vision navigation results taking into account the dilution of precision for landmark geometry. Also, the integrated system helps the vision navigation to consider it. An indirect filter with feedback structure is designed, in which the position and the attitude errors are measurements of the filter. Performance of the integrated system is evaluated through the computer simulations. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm works well and that better performance can be expected when the error characteristics of vision navigation are considered.

  • 본 논문에서는 Zigbee와 초음파 센서를 이용한 실내 항법 시스템을 제안한 시스템 Zigbee라는 단거리 무선 통신 망을 이용하여 수집한 후 이동체의 위치를 추정한다. 제안한 시스템에서는 여러 곳에 초음파 센서를 설치하고 이동체까지 측정한 거리는 실내 항법에 적합한 위치 추정 기법을 결정하기 위하여 최소자승법과 직접풀이법의 성능을 모의실험을 통하여 비교하였고, 두 기법 모두 충분히 작은 오차를 가지는 것을 확인하였는데 최소자승법은 선형화 기준점 설정에 따라 발산하는 경우가 나타나는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

  • This paper is about analysis of UDRE monitoring method for Korean Satellite navigation system, which is the correction parameter of satellite measurements. New receiver clock bias and tropospheric delay error estimation method to make pseudo-range residual for UDRE monitoring is proposed. Saastamoinen model and Neill mapping function are used for estimate the tropospheric delay and EKF is used for estimgate the receiver clock bias. Through the satellite measurements and regional weather data received directly from the domestic is using for UDRE monitoring analysis, more suitable UDRE monitoring threshold can be deducted and it is expected to be utilized for fault detection technique of Korean Satellite Navigation System.

  • GPS의 활용 분야는 군용 항법 시스템에서 항공, 선박 등의 개인 항법 시스템으로 확장되었다. GPS가 넓은 범위에서 응용됨에 따라 Jamming과 같은 고의적인 간섭 신호의 제거에 대하여 많은 연구가 진행되었다. 그러나 기만 신호의 특성이나 기만 기법에 대한 연구는 미비하다. 본 논문에서는 기만 신호의 구조와 기만 개념을 연구하였으며 기만신호의 생성 기법으로 항법 메시지를 이용한 기법과 GPS PRN 코드를 이용하여 TOA(Time of Arrival)에 오차를 인가하는 기법을 정리하고 이중 TOA에 오차를 인가하는 방식을 GPS 소프트웨어 플랫폼에 구현하여 기만신호를 생성하였다. 또한 기만 신호 대응 기법의 개발 텐 성능 분석을 위하여 소프트웨어 GPS 수신기를 이용하여 생성한 기만 신호가 GPS 수신기에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

Simulator Design and Performance Analysis of Link-K Based Relative Navigation System (한국형전술데이터링크(Link-K) 기반 상대항법 시스템의 시뮬레이터 설계 및 성능분석)

  • In this paper, an extend kalman filter based relative navigation algorithm is proposed for Link-K based relative navigation. Link-K is a tactical data link system for joint operation capability upgrade of ROK forces. Link-K is inter-operable with Link-16 and transmit and received information of operations and target. In Link-K communication channel, PPLI message including transmitter position and TOA measurement can be used for relative navigation. Therefore Link-K based relative navigation system can be operated. In this paper, software based simulations were carried out for operational feasibility test and performance verification as error factors of proposed Link-K based relative navigation system.

Accuracy Analysis of Kinematic SBAS Surveying (SBAS 이동측위 정확도 분석)

  • Space-Based Augmentation System (SBAS), which is one of the GPS augmentation systems, is a Wide-Area Differential GPS that provides differential GPS corrections and integrity data. In this study, we did performance analysis of kinematic SBAS surveying by conducting Real-Time Kinematic (RTK), DGPS, standalone, and SBAS surveys. Considering static survey results as truth, 2-D Root Mean Square (RMS) error and 3-D RMS error were computed to evaluate the positioning accuracy of each survey method. As a result, the 3-D positioning error of RTK was 13.1cm, DGPS 126.0cm, standalone (L1/L2) 135.7cm, standalone (C/A) 428.9cm, and SBAS 109.2cm. The results showed that the positioning accuracy of SBAS was comparable to that of DGPS.
