Development of EDI Model in the Port-Logistics Industries (항만물류산업에서 EDI 활성화 모형개발)

  • The rapid growth of economy in china leads to concentrate throughput volume of World to North East Asia. Ports in North East Asia have to cope with rapid changes in environments. In order for a port to compete in the global market, it must provide proper productivity and promptly services of port. The system of information hold a key in port-logistic industries. Most ports make every effort to set up and operate the system of Information. Busan port already set up the system of port-logistic information such as Port-MIS, KROIS. But it is not activated yet because of problems of documentation duplication and system connectivity and so on. The purpose of this research is to make a model which can activate the system of port-logistic information. In addition, We suggest a definite and feasible model by group and types of port-logistic industry.

  • 최근 들어, 현대사회는 예측이 불가능한 다양한 위험성들이 존재하여 글로벌 의존도가 높은 항만물류산업의 위험부담이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 항만산업의 안전성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 과거부터 현재까지 국내 항만 안전성에 영향을 미친 이슈들을 시계열적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 국내를 대표하는 부산항의 항만 안전성과 관련된 뉴스 기사 텍스트 데이터를 활용하여 LDA 토픽모델링 분석을 진행하여 부산항 항만안전 주요 이슈들의 동향을 살펴보고자 하였다.

  • 우리나라 산업단지의 수출경쟁력은 중국 등 주변 국가들의 원가에 상대적으로 취약하다. 수출경쟁력 차원에서 원가를 구성하는 항목들은 여러가지가 있겠으나, 원가절감이 가능한 항목은 그리 많지 않다. 본 연구에서는 국내 수출기업들의 수출경쟁력 향상을 위해 해상물류비용의 절감이 가능한 방안을 탐색하여 연구하였다. 특히 해외에서 소금과 같은 살화물을 수입하고 공선으로 나가 다시 수입하는 벌크선의 경우에는 국내에서 공선상태로 나가는 선박을 대상으로 컨테이너 적재가 가능한 겸용선으로 개조하여 운항시에 컨테이너로 수출하는 해상물류비용을 낮출 수 있다. 따라서 산업단지의 수출기업들이 이를 활용하면 해상물류비용을 획기적으로 낮출수 있으므로 수출경쟁력을 향상시킬수 있고, 이러한 절감방안 모델은 정부, 항만운영사업자, 수출기업 및 하역사업자 모두에게 도움이 되는 모델로 해상물류비용을 절감하기 위해 충분한 연구 가치가 있다.

  • Jeon-buk is well equipped for the growth of the logistics industry as it is the center of inland and marine traffic. However, it was not activated because of the infrastructure insufficiency. This paper surveyed the logistics industry facilities, interviewed people who are engaged in its business, researched into their business difficulties and the problem of the logistics industry of Jeon-buk. As a result of research, this paper makes an alternative plan for the development of the logistics industry of Jeon-buk area.

  • This paper outlines a plan to promote South Jeonnam region's logistics capability in connection with the regional logistics bases such as Gwangyang Port, Jangseong Integrated Freight Terminal, Mokpo Port and Muan International Airport. The capability of regional innovation bodies, and industrial innovation generally, needs to be improved by establishing a systematic regional innovation plan. Smaller import and export logistics bases, presently scattered in downtown Gwangju and its suburban area, need to be integrated as soon as possible, in advance of the completion of a traffic network connecting all of the triangle logistics bases. Moreover, plans to develop Muan International Airport to the status of a hub airport need to be established, and its function as an air freight terminal should be strengthened. Gwangyang Port and Mokpo Port should be developed as Korea's key harbors with international logistics bases the two ports, presently conducting simple cargo work, should be transformed into general logistics ports conducting logistics, assembling, trading, and international business by developing their surrounding areas.

  • This paper studies the economic effects of port-liquid freight by focusing on Ulsan port and its regional economic effects. The direct industrial effects of port-liquid freight are analysed to be an increase in about 1billion dollars' worth of production of the regional port-logistic industry, an increase in about 0.22billion dollars' worth of value-added of the industry, and the creation of about 2,600 employment in the industry. Including the indirect effects, the total effects on Ulsan regional economy are estimated to be an increase in about 1.9billion dollars worth of production, an increase in about 0.51billion dollars' worth of value-added and an increase in about 6,442 employment.

  • To efficiently manage the supply chain of an industry, the structure and characteristics of a supply chain have to be predefined and it is strongly required to get a framework to analyze a supply chain. We have developed a framework to analyze a supply chain from the viewpoint of chain relationship. It is possible to evaluate the degree of supply chain of each entity by using the framework. We have applied the framework to the port & logistics industry. From this research, we have identified tile current status of supply chain of port & logistics industry in the Korea and extracted some considerations for the healthy supply chain of Korean port & logistics industry.

  • In this study, it is purpose that value-added-logistics strategy plan for cooperation and coexistence in northeast asia.. Because of the change of domestic industrial structure, Japan's super hub port plan, Yangshan Deepwater port open of china and domestic port logistics industries are faced with competition among northeast asia countries. Decreasing export volume of changed domestic industrial structure and two countries: japan, china, make a new port policy and build new ports will affect domestic port logistics industries because these industries depend on container throughput at Busan port. Now, we cannot get a lot of profit from container throughput more than before and in the future China has more ports most ships direct calling in china's port to handle china's cargo volume to get more profit at that time our plans to become a hub port in northeast need revision. Finally, we need a new strategy which is value-added-logistics strategy. But it considers cooperation and coexistence among northeast countries. So this paper suggests that value-added-logistics strategy plan for cooperation and coexistence to live in affluence together in the future.
