A series of substituted benzylthioalkanamidocephalosporins 3a-3p were synthesized and tested in vitro antibacterial activity. Of these new cephalosporins exhibited good antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria whereas none of the compounds possessed the activity against Gram-negative bacteria at the concentration tested.

Thirteen compounds were synthesized by condensing the N-heterocyclic amines (piperidine, pyrrolidine, morpholine) and secondary aliphatic amines (dimethylamine, diethylamine) with 3,4-methylenedioxyphenylalkenoic acid chlorides for developing CNS depressants. Among them, N, N-diethyl-3,4-methylenedioxycinnamamide (IX) and N, N-dimethyl-5-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)-2, 4-pentadienoic acid amicle (XII) exhibited strong activity in antagonism against pentylenetetrazole-induced convulsion, strychnine-induced convulsion and maximal electroshock seizure. N, N-Dimethyl-3, 4-methylenedioxycinnamide (VIII) showed more potent activity in antagonism against strychnine-induced convulsion and maximal electroshock seizure and in the prolongation of hexobarbital sleeping time.

이번 발표에서는 복잡한 대상을 모의실험(시뮬레이션)할 때 필요한 복수의 모듈 사이의 상호작용과 협업을 돕기 위한 가상의 합성환경 (synthetic environments, SE)을 건설산업에 적용한 예인 건설 가상 환경 (Construction Synthetic Environments, CSE)에 대해 다루고 있다. 이를 위해 COSYE (Construction Systematic Environment- 건설분야 시스템적 환경 의 약자)라는 명칭의 소프트웨어 환경을 개발하여 캐나다 에드먼턴 (Edmonton, Canada)의 오수 터널 프로젝트의 시나리오 기반 분석 및 계획에 적용한 사례를 보여주고 있다.

The synthesis of 1-[(2-phenyl-1, 3-benzodioxol-2-yl)methyl]-1H-imidazole derivatives is described starting with 2-bromoacetophenones and catechols. 1-[(2-Phenyl-1, 3-benzodioxol-2-yl)methyl]-1H-imidazole (9-$_{12}$) showed potent broad-spectrum activity, not only against Candida species but also Cr. neofortnans, S. cerevisiae and T. mentagrophytes.

2-Substituted benzimdazoles were prepared by reacting o-phenylenediamine with acid chlorides, which has advantages over the known synthetic procedures. The compounds prepared showed no significant antiinflammatory activity, thus are of no interest as antiinflammatory agents.

A criterion is developed for the, selection of the best pairing of the control and manipulated variables and for the interaction analysis of decentralized multi-input multi-output control systems. This criterion is based on the difficulty caused by the interaction terms in finding the in-verse of the block steady gain matrix. A quantitative measure of the best pairing is obtained from the resemblance of a set of independent block multi-loop systems. Several examples show the validity of the pairing criterion.

입자의 크기 및 분산도에 관한 지식은 에멀젼 뿐만 아니라 aerosol, dispersion, suspension을 포함하는 미립자 계에서 중요한 정보이다. 특히 유화 중합에 있어서 입자의 크기 및 분산도의 정확한 측정은 중합 속도론 (입자의 생성, 성장 및 응집)을 다루는데 필수적이며, 입자의 크기 및 분산도는 hiding power, tinting strength 등 최종 물질의 물리$.$화학$.$기계적 성질 결정에 있어서 중요한 변수로 작용한다. 합성 공정에서도 입자의 크기 및 분산도는 콜로이드의 점도에 많은 영향을 미쳐서 공정의 안정성을 좌우하기도 한다.(중략)

시판되는 방향족 폴리아미드계 역삼투막은 우수한 투과특성과 염배제율을 보이고 있다. 하지만 이들 막들은 내염소서의 결핍으로 염소소독시 분해되는 성질이 있어 역삼투특성의 급격한 저하가 일어난다. 이로인해 원수 처리시 전처리 과정으로써 염소살균처리를 하고, RO모듈 입구의 직전에 환원제를 주입하여 잔류염소를 제거하게되므로 공정상의 유지관리가 용이하지 않게된다. 역삼투특성이 우수한 폴리아미드막의 내염소성을 향상시키기 위해 트리메조일클리드를 이요한 가교, 강직한 작용기의 도입 및 친수성기와 소수성기의 고밀도 집적등의 방법으로 개질 폴리아미드막을 제조하는 연구결과들이 보고되었다.

본 연구에서는 이미 benzo(a)pyrene유도 소핵시험에서 뚜렷하게 소핵생성억제능을 보인 polyhydroxy flavonol유도체중의 하나인 Galangin에 대하여 C57BL/6 mice를 이용하여 N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine(이하 MNNG)에 의해 유도된 소핵생성빈도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, spleen lymphocyte 배양을 통해 bleomycin 및 MNNG유도 염색체이상에 미치는 영향과 MNNG에 의해 유발된 DNA adduts중 biomarker로서 7-methylguanine형성에 대한 Galangin의 영향을 살펴봄으로서 ,Galangin의 유전독성 억제효과 및 작용기전에 대한 연구를 하고자하며 향후 Galangin을 모핵으로하는 cancer chemopreventive agent로의 유도체 합성에 기여하고자 한다.
