첨단산업분야에서 광기술의 위상이 높아지면서 '광학'에 대한 교육, 연구, 기술개발 등을 주목적으로 하는 대학의 특성화 학과들이 전국에 11개에 달하는 가운데 그중 공주대학교 영상광정보공학부(광공학전공)가 주목받고 있다. 광학분야 취업률 100% 달성, 올해 치러진 광학기사 시험에서 전체 응시자중 35.3%에 달하는 12명의 합격자를 배출했다는 점만 보더라도 차별성을 쉽게 찾을 수 있다. 이번호에서는 광학전문가들의 산실로 떠오르고 있는 공주대학교 기하공학연구실을 찾아 이준호 교수로부터 최근의 연구 활동 및 교육 방향에 관해 들어보았다.

본 연구에서는 국내의 정보보호 자격제도에 대하여 운영기관, 직무분야, 응시 자격, 검정 방법, 시험과목, 합격률 및 합격자에 대한 현황을 분석하였다. 현재 우리 나라의 정보보호 자격은 인터넷보안전문가, 정보보안관리사, 정보보호전문가 자격이 민간 자격으로 운영되고 있으며, 정보보호 자격이 개발되고 운영된 기간이 얼마 되지 않기 때문에 자격취득자의 수가 매우 적다. 본 고에서는 국내 정보보호 자격에 대한 실태 분석을 통하여 우리 나라 정보보호 자격의 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

As a number of new college students is dramatically decreasing, each college is trying to find various solutions for gathering many students and operating a school. In specialty, information such as entrance examination and matriculation status data is very important for a college to decide a direction of admission and public relations policy, and increase welfare of the school. Therefore, it is seriously needed for a school to introduce a matriculation management system that can do the effective analysis through various entrance examination and matriculation status data and decision factors of school. In this study, I developed a matriculation management system which can analyze information of applicants, successful candidates and registrants based on national framework data, and was able to analyze applicants, successful candidates, registrants by regional groups and the ratio of successful applicants against applicants and the change rate of applicants in the last 3 years. It is expected that the developed system can provide appropriate and rational information for public relations policy and operation to a college.

In order to cultivate the human resources needed in the 4th industrial revolution era, it is necessary to select the gifted students and educate them systematically. Although excellent gifted students are important in a specific field, more convergent talents in the fields of mathematics, science, and information are required. The purpose of this study is to investigate how evaluation factors reflecting the characteristics of information gifted students affect the selection of science gifted students of a university gifted education center. In the characteristics of information gifted students, the cognitive factors such as Rule creation ability, Reasoning ability, Efficiency ability, Generalization ability, Structuring ability and Abstraction ability were highly correlated in selecting the science gifted students. Correlations in the applicants group of students for science gifted education center are higher than those in the first passers group and higher than those in the final successful candidates group. This means that the factors that shows the characteristics of the information gifted have a great influence on the selection of the science gifted.

(사)한국포장기술사회(회장 김기태)는 제87회 기술사 자격시험에서 8명의 포장기술사가 합격했다고 전했다. 올해 탄생한 포장기술사는 $\blacktriangle$ 율촌화학(주) 소재생산1 팀 홍건화 팀장 $\blacktriangle$ 삼성전자 원진식 책임연구원 $\blacktriangle$ (주) 화승인더스트리 생산부 정해군 부장 $\blacktriangle$ 씨피엔피기술연구원 문홍철 대표 $\blacktriangle$ 앰텍테크 민성기 대표 $\blacktriangle$ CJ제일제당 박광수 차장 $\blacktriangle$ 롯데중앙연구소 서택교 수석연구원 $\blacktriangle$ 서흥캅셀 조성 부장 등으로 국내 포장기술사는 총 83명으로 늘어났다. 포장기술사는 포장분야의 최고 기술전문사로 일상생활에 밀접하게 연관되어 있는 포장의 기술적 발전과 적합한 사용을 위해 노력하고 있다, 현재 국내 포장기술사는 (사)한국포장기술사회를 중심으로 국내 포장 문화 진흥에 주력하고 있다 본 고에서는 2009년 포장기술사 합격자들의 합격 소감과 향후 계획을 들어보았다.

최근 우수 학생들의 능력에 부합하는 교육프로그램 제공, 우수 인재의 조기 발굴 및 유성, 수시 합격자 및 수학능력시험 이후 학생들의 교육적 공백 방지, 고등학교-대학 교육의 연계체제 강화 등을 위하여 대학과목선이수제는 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대학과목선이수제의 발전방안을 탐색하기 위하여 참여 학생의 설문 응답을 통해 운영특성 및 학습자의 인식을 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 제주대학교의 대학과목선이수제의 초기 운영 및 설문 결과를 토대로 활성화 기반을 마련하였다.
