This study is aimed to systematically grasp the visual and informative needs of sign system and secure the formativeness sample for standardization model. This study, therefore, will help building the requirements to create design value and secure objectiveness for realization of practical use of the communication design plan, and means transference of the external and internal information system of railroad vehicles for practical use into the standardization model. The pictorial sign based information delivery is a communication process and way gained through vision and perception, so that grasping the formative structure connoted in message is not less than understanding the characteristics of the essence. In this study, I defined the symbolic expressions inherent in TTX sign system to be perceptional action and value norms as general signatures and signifiers.

E-commerce is a relatively new but rapidly developing industry and global phenomenon. Uzbekistan, as developing country, has recognized that strong economic development is associated with the adoption and development of e-commerce industry. In this regard, the present study identifies the main facilitators of e-commerce in a developing country and provides some important implications. Four rounds of the Delphi method conducted for a survey involving a panel of experts from various organizations associated with e-commerce, indicate a total of 24 items representing five facilitating factors. The results indicate no significant differences among factors reflecting technology infrastructure, the legal environment/support, the industry environment, and business organizations and suggest that technology infrastructure, the legal environment/support, and the industry environment are more important facilitators of e-commerce than the economic and political environment. The results have important practical and theoretical implications.

Semiotic theory plays a vital role in the cognition of realistic films. Realistic films aim to reflect events and situations in real life, and arouse the audience's thinking about real problems through realistic depiction. In this process, the theory of semiotics helps to reveal the symbolic elements in the film and the profound meaning behind them. This study focused on the realism movie 도 가 니 "(Silenced), on the basis of the theory of saussure's semiotics, combined with its proposed the concept of "signifier" and "mean", through the study of arbitrariness and secondary film symbol sign system, designed to dig deeper into the symbolic meanings in the movie, and their cultural significance and social evaluation. By analyzing the implied narrative structure, meaning structure and ideology in the film, this paper probes into the influence and effect of mass culture on society and reveals the potential information conveyed by symbols in the film. This study aims to provide creative insights and explanations to provide useful references for research in related fields.

This study analyzes the signification structure and mythical meaning of Hirokazu Koreeda's documentary . In other words, by approaching the signification structure of the semiotic elements that constitute storytelling, the mythical meaning implied by is widely examined. It is to discuss the essential characteristics of the aesthetic form he is aiming for, and at the same time, to look at the aesthetic type that expands the meaning value of documentary storytelling. In particular, Hirokazu Koreeda uses typical and symbolic elements in harmoniously in the storytelling process. By applying such a dual aesthetic form, it effectively conveys the mythical meaning required in the times to the audience. Therefore, is a signification system that emits mythical meaning, and it reflects the aesthetic intention of Hirokazu Koreeda who has confidence in the imagination of the audience.

지리 공간 정보에 대한 관심 증가와 더불어 활용 분야도 다양해지고 있다. OGC(Open GIS Consortium)에서는 XML(extensible Markup Language)을 GIS 분야에 도입한 GML(Geography Markup Language)을 개발하였으며 여러 활용 분야에서 GML을 사용하고 계속적으로 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 XML 문서를 기반으로 연구되었던 데이터 마이닝 방법 중 하나인 연관규칙을 GML 데이터에 사용하여 의미 있는 규칙을 찾아내려 한다. 규칙을 찾는 방법에는 2가지가 있을 수 있는데 하나는 GML 데이터의 내용만을 뽑아내어 그에 따른 규칙을 찾아내는 방법이고, 다른 하나는 사용된 태그와 속성을 기반으로 규칙을 찾아내는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 2가지 방법을 통해 규칙을 찾는 것에 대하여 기술할 것이다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 GML문서를 사용하는 여러 분야에서 기본 정보뿐만 아니라 함축적이고 의미 있는 정보도 얻어 낼 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

"모든 사람은 죽는다"라는 믿음을 내용으로 하는 마음의 상태가 "그 사람도 죽는다"라는 믿음을 내용으로 하는 마음의 상태를 인과적으로 야기하는가? 두 믿음 사이의 미시적 얼개가 인과 관계를 골자로 하고 있다는 사실에서 그 미시적 얼개에 수반하는 거시적 얼개도 인과 관계라는 사실이 함축되는가? 거시적 얼개를 물리적 관점에서 보자면 두 믿음 사이의 관계는 인과적이다. 그러나 거시적 얼개의 포인트는 미시적 얼개와는 달리 물리적 인과성에만 맞춰져 있지 않다. 한 믿음에서 다른 믿음으로의 이행에서 그 포인트는 믿음의 신경생리학적 토대가 아니라 믿음의 의미에 있다. 따라서 양자 사이의 이행 관계는 추론이나 바램 등과 같은 인간의 해석적 의미 연관의 관점에서 서술되는 것이 더 자연스럽고 이치에 맞는다.

수많은 정보들이 범람하는 현대의 정보화사회에서는 이들 정보자원들을 합리적으로 관리하기 위한 효율적인 정보관리체제의 구축이 필수적이다. 정보의 의미를 객관적이고 명확하게, 그리고 함축적으로 표현하기 위해서 많은 정보관리시스템에서는 데이타코드를 만들어 사용하고 있다. 그런데 컴퓨터의 보급이 확대되어 정보관리시스템이 증가하면서 정보의 교환이 양도 급증하고있는데 전송되는 데이타코드의 구조 및 의미가 서로 상이한 경우가 있어 이의 보완이 시급하게 대두되는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 데이타코드를 표과적으로 관리할 수 있는 데이타코드관리시스템을 설계하였다. 데이타코드관리시스템은 데이타 코드뿐만 아니라 데이타코드에 관련된 여러 정보들을 모두 관리함으로써 효과적으로 데이타코드를 관리할 수 있게 하였으며, 앞으로 추가될 정보관리시스템에 데이타코드에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있도록 하였다.

Recently Byeong Deok Lee has denied the validity of the so-called uncontested principle, which says that the indicative conditional implies the material conditional. I show that his denial means that modus ponens is not valid and that the truth-conditions of indicative conditionals are weaker than that of material conditionals. It seems that what made him hold this view is related to some misunderstanding of indicative conditionals.

The concept of 'cultural diversity' has emerged as a key concept and the buzzword of the 21st century's international community in education, science and culture sectors since UNESCO's "World Declaration on Cultural Diversity"(2001). However, the appropriate and correct implementation in educational level and in a subject scale can not be pursued without special understanding of multilateral implications of UNESCO's 'cultural diversity' because the concept of cultural diversity has been distributed to various applications according to individual scholars and institutions before the "World Declaration on Cultural Diversity" was released. The ultimate orientation of 'cultural diversity', the concept presented in "World Declaration on Cultural Diversity" is 'world peace' and 'the coexistence of various cultures of mankind'. In this regard, 'cultural diversity' has special 'educational' meaning to the next generation as well as the current one. Also, it is meaningful to take educational practices on cultural diversity in case of the "World Geography" subject in view of that international society of geographical education came up with "International Declaration of Geographical Education for Cultural Diversity" in the IGU(International Geographical Union) 2000. From this point of view, the author proposes that the 'cultural diversity' concept implies four folds of meanings as an ideology, as a symbol, as a vision, and as a epistemological turn based on the analysis of literatures on 'cultural diversity' of UNESCO, then presents an educational practice centering around the examples and its usage of teaching materials of cultural diversity.

In my previous article "An Inferentialist Account of Indicative Conditionals" and "An Inferentialist Account of Indicative Conditionals and Hasuk Song's Objections", I argued that the so-called Uncontested Principle is not uncontestable. According to the Uncontested Principle, an indicative conditional '$A{\rightarrow}C$' logically implies a material conditional '$A{\supset}C$'. In his recent paper "On the Recent Controversies surrounding the Uncontested Principle" Wonbae Choi presents three objections to my claim. First, my denial of the Uncontested Principle implies rejecting modus ponens. Second, my denial of the Uncontested Principle is tantamount to taking the truth-conditions of an indicative conditional as weaker than those of a material conditional, which are usually taken to be the weakest among conditionals. Third, my view that we can warrantedly assert '$A{\rightarrow}C$' even when 'A ${\therefore}$ C' is inductively justified is based on a misunderstanding of the way in which indicative conditionals are justified. In this paper I argue that Choi's objections are all based on misunderstandings of my view. First, I do not deny the validity of modus ponens (as a form of deductive reasoning). Second, the fact that the inductive warrantability of 'A ${\therefore}$ C' does not imply the truth of '$A{\supset}C$' does not show that the truth-conditions of an indicative conditional is weaker than those of a material conditional. Third, Choi's claim that a contingent conditional '$A{\rightarrow}C$' is true only when 'C' can be deductively derived from 'A' in conjunction with a hidden premiss is not well grounded, nor does it fit the facts.
