자성물질의 자구를 관측하고, 표면의 자기전하를 측정하는 간단하면서도 정량적인 방법을 제시하였다. 관측방법은 자기 garnet film을 사용하며, 이 방법을 이용하여 {100} 철단결정 표면의 자구를 관측할 수 있었다. garnet film의 자구는 garnet 면과 수직한 자기장에 의해서만 변하고 임계 자기장에서는 사라진다. 그러나, 철단결정의 자구는 단결정 표면에 평행하게 걸어준 자기장에 대하여서는 영향을 받지만 수직하게 가한 자 기장에는 아무런 영향을 받지 않는다. 위와 같이 성질을 이용하여 철단결정과 평행한 자기장을 가할 때 철단결정의 자구에 유도된 전하에 인하여 garnet film의 자구가 변화하며, 이 garnet film의 자구는 편광된 빛을 이용하여 직접 관측할 수 있다. 이 방법으로 철단결정의 표면에 유도 되는 자기전하 분포를 측정할 수 있었고, 또한 단결정에 걸어준 전류가 변할때 단결정 자구의 움직임을 관측할 수 있었다. 이 관측한 결과 를 이용하여 철단결정에 전류를 가할 때의 비대칭적으로 유도되는 교류 자기감수율 실험의 결과를 설명할 수 있었다.

서브스톰이 진행될 때 극지방의 지자기 교란은 대류 제트 전류와 서브스톰 전류 쐐기로 구성되는 오로라 제트 전류에 기인한다. 이들은 전기장 강화를 뜻하는 AU 지수와 전기 전도도 강화를 뜻하는 AL 지수로 나타낼 수 있다. 이들 AU, AL 지수와 자기폭풍의 정도를 나타내는 Dst 지수와의 상관관계를 구해봄으로써 서브스톰이 자기폭풍의 형성에 어떻게 기여하는지 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 월별 누적 AU, 누적 │AL│ 값을 구한 뒤 월별 누적 Dst 와의 상관관계를 구하였다. 한편 IMF(Interplanetary Magnetic Field)의 남쪽 자기장 성분으로부터 지구 자기장 내에 강력한 전기장이 형성되어 자기폭풍을 형성한다는 견해가 있다. 전기장 E=V(태양풍 속도)$\times$Bs(IMF의 남쪽 자기장 성분)으로 나타낼 수 있으므로 이로부터 구한 월별 누적 전기장과 누적 Dst 값을 비교해 봄으로써 자기권 대류가 자기폭풍 형성에 어느 정도 기여하는지 조사하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 1966년부터 1987년까지 20년간의 AE(AU, AL) 지수를 이용하였으며 IMF 자료는 ACE 위성이 제공하는 행성간 자기장 자료로 1997년부터 2002년까지의 자료를 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 현재 논쟁이 되고 있는 storm-substorm의 인과관계를 보다 잘 규명할 것으로 기대된다.

The control and reduction of the magnetization of naval vessel is important technologies for safety against torpedo and sea mine installed magnetic sensors. In general, we used to conduct as a magnetic treatment for permanent magnetization reduction and to compensate induced magnetization using on-board-degaussing system for the naval vessel's magnetic stealth. Navies have operated magnetic treatment facility in order to protect from sea mines. LIGNex1 Corp. has developed the magnetic treatment facility for the korea navy.

This study examines the mediating effects of learned helplessness and procrastination in the relationship between covert narcissim and selfie addiction proneness among women. The study subjects were 286 women with a mean age of 23.78(SD=4.34) years. The results of the study are as follows. First, there were significantly positive correlations between covert narcissism, self-objectification, self-presentational motivation, and selfie addiction proneness. Second, covert narcissism, self-objectification, self-presentational motivation were significant predictors for selfie addiction proneness and they accounted 25.7% for variance of selfie addiction proneness. Especially, self-presentational motivation accounted for selfie addiction proneness the most. Third, mediating effect analysis showed self-objectification had partial mediation effect on the relation between covert narcissism and selfie addiction proneness and self-presentational motivation had a partial mediating effect on the relation between covert narcissism and selfie addiction proneness. It is significant for this study to define the concept of selfie addiction proneness and understand psychological variables which significantly account for it. Limitations of the study and suggestions for the future studies were discussed.
