Open Software Learning Management System support SCORM (SCORM 지원 공개 소프트웨어 학습 관리 시스템)

  • IIn this paper, we developed e-Leaning system based on open source software. We selected the Moodle that after compared the open source learning management systems. Moodle is APM(Apache, PHP, MySQL) based learning management system(LMS) support SCORM(Sharable Content Object Reference Model), a software package designed to help educators create quality online courses. One of the main advantages of Moodle over other systems is a strong grounding in social constructionist pedagogy. Also we integrated Moodle and legacy systems such as streaming service, webhard service, and short message service. Therefore this research showed that open source based e-Learning system include learning management system is stable and possible.

  • As e-learning is recognized in new education form, Learning Management System that manage general activity of learning to maximize effect of education is being developed actively. Usually, Learning Management System includes course registration and learning as well as learner's learning recording and tracking, evaluation in online. But, most systems is lacking a tool that learners can collaborate with companion learners, and planning learning and set valuation basis as leading. In this paper, we can expect effective collaborative learning activities because can make debate and team project smooth by suggesting collaborative learning module that can drive voluntary participation such as group formation, learning plan, mutually estimation as leading to learner in Learning Management System of blended learning base that support online and offline environment both.

Development of e-Learning System Based on Open Source Software (공개 소프트웨어 기반 e-Learning 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper we developed e-Leaning system based on open source software. We selected the Moodle that after compared the open source learning management systems. Moodle is LAMP(Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) based course management system (CMS), a software package designed to help educators create quality online courses. One of the main advantages of Moodle over other systems is a strong grounding in social constructionist pedagogy. Also we integrated Moodle and legacy systems such as streaming service, webhard service, and short message service. The system operated during one semester at college using blended learning model. We had obtained showed that the students had almost all scored quite highly as preferred learning environment through COLLES(Constructivist On-Line Learning Environment Survey) and ATTLS(Attitudes to Thinking and Learning Survey). Therefore this research showed that open source based e-Loaming system is stable and possible.

  • In order to provide effective studies in accordance with the shifts in learning paradigms, an LD Publication engine, which is the former engine from the Learning Design (LD) based learning management system, was designed and implemented. The LD Publication engine analyzes the learning contents packages that have been prepared based on the LD and analyzes the constructions and meanings of the information files that describe learning activities in order to model them. The modeled data are fragmentized into effective and accessible forms from in the learning management systems and are then put into the database. LD based learning management systems provide learning effects and learner convenience designed to provide learners with a high performance learning platform. In addition, they will activate the development of content through the reproduction, reuse and sharing of the learning content, which will contribute to the expansion of infrastructures. These systems are also designed to enable linkages among learners' competences, preferences and portfolio, and thus the systems can be easily expanded.

  • In recent years, a variety of learning content construction utilizing the smart phone is coming. In this paper, we investigate on overall trends and movements in e-learning performance at University. And system developed a e-learning platform consisting of smart phone portal, learning management system(LMS), and learning content management system(LCMS). Throughout the experiment, each of the components of the e-learning were implemented. LMS was implemented more efficiently using a user profile evaluation system for qualification.

  • 유비쿼터스 러닝을 가능하게 하기 위해서는 학습자의 지속적인 학습 결과 관리와 다양한 기기에 적합한 콘텐츠 표현 방안 그리고 이 기종 시스템들 간의 동기화 문제 등이 해결되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 PDA를 사용하는 학습자들에게 학습 콘텐츠를 제공하고, PDA 상에서 학습을 할 수 있게 한 후, 학습자의 학습 결과를 서버로 동기화 할 수 있는 PDA 학습 시스템을 설계하고 구현하고자 한다. PDA 학습 시스템은 학습을 위한 PDA 어플리케이션과 학습 결과 처리를 위한 PDA 서버로 구성된다. PDA 서버는 XML형태의 문제 파일을 생성하고, PDA 어플리케이션에 이를 제공하며, PDA내의 학습 결과를 서버의 학습 결과와 동기화 시켜주는 기능을 한다. 제안하는 시스템을 교육 현장에 적용하고, 그 문제점을 분석하여 개선해 나간다면 유비쿼터스 러닝을 실천하기 위한 기반연구로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • With the spread of the various mobile devices, the studies on the learning management system based on the u-learning are actively proceeding. The u-learning-based learning management system is very convenient in that there are no restrictions on the various access devices as well as the access time and place. However, the judgments on the authentication for the user and whether learning is focused on are difficult. In this paper, the voice and user face capture interface rather than the common user event oriented interface was applied to the learning management system. When a user is accessing the learning management system, user's registered password is input and login as voice, and the user's learning attitude is judged through the response utterance of simple words during the process of learning through contents. As a result of evaluating the proposed learning management system, the user's learning achievement and concentration were improved, thus enabling the manager to monitor the user's abnormal learning attitude.

  • 시 공간상의 제약 없이 다양한 정보의 제공이 가능한 현재의 웹 환경을 통해서 우리나라는 다양한 정보와 자료를 활용하여 학습자 중심의 탐구활동 및 자기 주도적 학습을 강구하고 있다. 따라서, 전국 초중등 학생들을 대상으로 시도별 특화된 맞춤 서비스, 즉 LMS(학습관리시스템)을 구축 운영하고 있지만 현재 시스템에서는 다양하고 방대한 학습 콘텐츠에서 학습자가 자신에게 맞는 과정을 검색, 신청하는데 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 어려움을 해결하기 위해서 학습자가 개인의 학습내용을 빠르고 편리하게 등록하고 검색할 수 있게 하고, 시스템의 지능적인 의미검색이 가능하게 하기 위해서 시맨틱 웹과 AJAX기술을 이용한 개인 맞춤형 학습관리 시스템 설계 및 구현을 하였다.

A Study on the Impact of the Attitude of e-Learning on the Effectiveness of e-Learning (e-Learning에 대한 태도가 e-Learning 유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study of the attitude of e-learning on the effectiveness of e-learning and the antecedents of e-learning. For this study, samples were collected from students who had attended a cyber lecture at university. Structural equation model was used to analyze the data. The result of this empirical study is summarized as followings. First, the attitude of e-learning has a positive effect on the e-learning effectiveness. Second, ease of use of learning management system, learning motivation, information quality of learning contents has positive effect on the attitude of e-learning, but usefulness of learning management system has no effect on the attitude of e-learning. Therefore, the former consists of learning management system, learning contents and information quality that are provided by e-learning and the latter means learning motivation.

  • 고정된 컴퓨터에서 학습하는 e-learning에서 탈피하여 이동 중에도 학습이 가능한 u-learning이 필요하여 u-learning의 한부분인 스마트러닝은 급변하는 정보화시대의 교육경향이 매우 빠르게 변화하고 있는 상황을 그대로 반영해주는 결과물이라고 할 수 있다. 스마트 러닝이 학습향상에 얼마나 영향을 미치는가를 분석하고 스마트 러닝 기능을 최대한 활용하여 최대의 학습 효과를 얻을 수 있는 방법을 제시하며 스마트기기를 이용해 실제 학습하는 사례를 적용한 동영상 강의 애플리케이션의 효율적인 관리 시스템을 분석 설계한다. 각종 콘텐츠를 비롯하여 동영상강의 어플리케이션을 통한 여러 학습수단을 배경으로 전체적인 면에서 학습 환경을 살펴봄으로써 학습효과에 보다 나은 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
