Purpose: This study was aimed to develop and evaluate of a Problem-based Learning (PBL) in the course of Nursing Management and Ethics. Method: The design of the study was both methodological and one group only pre-post design. The sample included 61 senior students who are currently enrolled in Nursing management and Ethics course in college of nursing. Data regarding PBL evaluation were collected on the critical thinking and clinical reasoning using structured questionnaires during March to June, 2005. Data were analyzed using descriptives and paired t-test. Results: A total of three PBL packages was developed by the two faculty members and two teaching assistants who are majoring in nursing management. PBL packages that had been developed was applied to 61 senior students for three months. Critical thinking and clinical reasoning were measured twice pre and post the application of PBL packages. There were statistically significant differences in the critical thinking and clinical reasoning between the pre and post PBL application. Conclusion: PBL was considered to be effective in understanding the learning concepts in the Nursing Management and Ethics. Further research on the facilitative strategies and development model considering the characteristics of Nursing Management and Ethics course is needed.

Game addiction is the one of side effects from current knowledge-based society, So it is very important to find students with game addiction and treat them as early as possible. In this paper, first of all, a measure scale is developed for diagnosing game addiction. The scale is made based on the literature reviews. Also, a game model is developed based on virtues education. The proposed model has the following characteristics. First, it can induce active participation of students. Second, it helps students find and decide a moral standard related to online game addiction for themselves. Third, students can learn a moral standard naturally through narratives related to various real-life situations. The followings are concluded after applying the proposed game to elementary school students with game addiction. First, game addiction is relieved for those students, specially for "high risk" and "potential" groups. Second, the proposed game can improve respect to others and individual responsibility.

본 연구는 우리 나라의 성인들이 자신의 초중등 학교 시절 경험하였던 학교 과학교육에 대해 어떤 종류의 즐거운 혹은 괴로운 기억들을 현재까지 갖고 있는가를 탐색하였다. 성인들은 오래 전 경험하였던 매우 인상적인 활동이나 장면들을 통해 학교 과학교육을 기억할 것이고, 이러한 기억은 그들의 학교 과학교육에 대한 전반적인 태도에 결정적인 역할을 할 것이다. 따라서 성인들의 학교 과학교육에 대한 이러한 기억들을 살펴보면, 학교 과학교육의 특징을 이해하고 장기적으로 학교 과학교육을 보다 즐거운 경험의 장으로 만드는 데 도움이 될 것이다. 본 연구는 소규모의 설문 조사를 통해 이루어졌으며, 설문 대상은 대구지역의 30-50대 성인 88명이었다. 설문은 현재 과학과 관련된 특정한 직업을 갖고 있지 않은 사람을 대상으로 하였으며, 설문에서 응답자들은 자신들의 초중등 학교 과학교육을 받으면서 가장 즐거웠던 기억과 가장 괴로웠던 기억이 구체적으로 무엇이며 이러한 경험은 초중고 어느 때이었는가를 응답하였다. 성인들이 가장 즐거웠던 기억으로 지적한 것은 실험 실습 활동(65.9%), 야외학습 활동(19.3%) 등으로 전통적인 교실수업 이외의 활동이 약 86%로 나타났다. 그리고 효과적인 교실수업, 교사의 인성적 특징, 과학전람회 참가 등의 경험을 언급한 경우도 부분적으로 있었다. 성인들이 가장 괴로웠던 기억으로 지적한 것은 따분한 교실수업(51.1%), 실험 실습 활동의 부정적인 측면(28.4%) 등으로 나타났으며, 부분적으로 과다한 숙제, 교사의 인성적 특징, 야외학습 활동, 과학수업의 부재 등을 지적한 경우도 있었다. 또한 전체적으로 즐거웠던 기억은 국민학교 시절의 경험에서(56.8%), 반면 괴로웠던 기억은 고등학교 시절의 경험에서(44.3%) 많이 나타났다. 특히, "개구리 해부 실험" 의 경우, 7명이 가장 즐거웠던 기억으로 8명은 가장 괴로웠던 기억으로 언급하여 매우 상반된 견해를 나타냈다. 따라서 동일한 활동일지라도 학생들에게는 매우 상반된 경험으로 작용하게 되며, 이 경우 생명체에 대한 과학실험의 윤리적 문제와 이에 대한 갈등을 분명하게 드러냈다.

The major aim of this study is to discuss the possibility whether the merging of Information Literacy and rhetoric will be able to have essential elements for being a general education subject in universities. The characteristic of rhetorical information literacy (RIL) is organized as follows. Situated literacy using heuristic method, process oriented literacy attaching importance to research, and literacy relevant to ubiquitous environment. So, it is argued that rhetorical information literate citizenry is essential for a modern democratic society. As the information literacy instruction program can be various, for example, technology oriented instruction is needed to be compared. For the practical execution of the RILI program, 'asking situated questions to discover problem', 'selecting and writing review of meta study books', and 'writing visiting report of library', and 'instruction of information ethics for democratic citizens' have been proposed.

The topic of academic integrity is an important public concern that has emerged in higher education. Recent surveys at U.S. and Canadian dental schools revealed that cheating and plagiarism were significant problems in dental schools. In addition, some schools stated that cheating had increased compared to a decade ago. Various institutional rituals have been implemented to enhance the academic integrity environment of U. S. and Canadian dental schools. Furthermore, the application of honor code which is dealing with ethical issues has been reported to improve the attitudes and behaviors of students. Since there have been no reported studies regarding ethics curricula in Korean dental schools, further studies should be needed to assess academic integrity policies, violations, and the results of the measures in Korean dental schools. Additionally, the challenge to provide professional ethics curricula for dental students must be conducted with respect and humanity for our students and thus, students will be more likely to respond positively to expectations in terms of ethical behaviors. Therefore, the outcome is clearly and undoubtedly link to better care for patients.

This paper provides the emerging flow of new communication technology using ubiquitous learning (u-Learning). In the intelligent Ubiquitous environment, humans and devices with computing abilities become interoperable. u-Learning will lead students to open their minds to the world and motivate self-learning, which may lead them to learn and communicate more efficiently, and save time, cost and energy. Through case research, regarding education, learning attitude, custom and, personal relations, one must solve the fundamental issues of misuse and outflow problems regarding personal information that will be widely collected in detail than the present condition, and in order for this not to happen, further support of the law and system, plus ethical perspectives must be considered in order to progress.

With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, interest in artificial intelligence education is increasing in elementary schools. In order to nurture future talents with artificial intelligence capabilities, AI education should be actively conducted at school sites. Although basic software education is provided in the 2015 revised curriculum, there is a tendency to view the programming process that creates artificial intelligence only as a problem-solving process. However, when creating an artificial intelligence, the value of the developer who creates artificial intelligence is projected. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with the contents of artificial intelligence value judgment during SW education. This study has limitations due to the fact that Delphi research was conducted with a group of experts. In the future, it is judged that quantitative research should be conducted to supplement these limitations.

As internet activates, web sites that supply images harmful to the emotion of youth are overflowing rapidly. Chances that the youth approach to the harmful sites are increasing, and then the emotion of youth is damaged seriously. In this paper, we present the system that distinguish harmful ones from images in the web documents of user-accessed URLs and output the document after blocking images harmful to the youth. As the results of the experiments about performance of the web-images blocking system, we found the utility factor of blocking harmful images of the proposed system is 89.6％ in the full nudity 70.1％ in the half nudity, and the error rate is 2.4％ in the face images.

This study was conducted to find out the relationship between the perception of the necessity and importance of creative teaching methods and core competencies in universities. A total of 142 people who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study were selected and surveyed using the Naver online questionnaire. It was found that the necessity and importance of creative teaching methods was related to the sub-factors of core competencies such as practical field competency, problem-solving competency, convergence competency, communication competency, job ethics, community consciousness. University education should actively introduce and apply creative teaching methods such as action learning and PBL, focusing on improving core competencies, which are actual abilities to be performed in the field.

Religious language learning is crucial for children's spiritual development and how each child is encouraged to speak about the Sacred will drive the capacities for healthily connecting with one another, God, and the nonhuman world. Religious educators have an ethical imperative to teach religion with a commitment to celebrating lived experiences, while resisting dogmatic instruction that stunts linguistic, cognitive, and spiritual development. Cultural influences must encourage approaches that nurture children's wonder and inquiry, by teaching religious language as a tool for meaning-making and expression.
