Training for using e-learning has offered various options of contents and methods to learners. Both contents with high quality and the effective operation of LMS are very important to increase effectiveness. This paper analyzed the status of LMS which was necessary to improve quality of training for learners using e-learning. Based on analysis, it collected the opinions of experts by using delphi methods. Then, it suggested the improvement of the LMS and necessary functions of LMS in Distance Education & Training Institutes.

E-learning의 학습 컨텐츠는 점차 멀티미디어화 되고, 시스템 환경은 유비쿼터스 네트워크를 기반으로 고도화될(T-learning 및 U-learning) 것으로 예측된다. 학습자가 요구하는 멀티미디어 학습객체를 유비쿼터스 네트워크 환경에서 쉽게 찾아 학습자에게 효율적으로 전달하기 위해서는 메타데이터 관리 시스템의 도움이 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 멀티미디어 학습객체의 특성을 정확하게 기술하는 메타데이터 모델이 필요하고 효율적인 메타데이터 관리 시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 학습객체를 위한 새로운 메타데이터 모델을 제안하고, 효율적인 메타데이터 관리를 위한 새로운 시스템을 설계하였다.

이 논문에서는 학습관리시스템에 대한 다양한 오픈소스 소프트웨어를 비교하고, 사용자들이 쉽게 설치할 수 있고, 다양한 기능을 포함한 무들(moodle), 줌라(joomla)와 Third Party 오픈소스 소프트웨어를 활용하여 학습 콘텐츠 관리 시스템을 구현하고 분석한다. 오픈소스 소프트웨어인 무들은 국내외에 잘 알려져 있고, 많은 참여자로 인하여 타 오픈소스 소프트웨어에 비해 커뮤니티의 활동이 왕성하고, 여러 운영체제 환경에서 APM(Apache, MySQL, PHP)을 사용하여 비교적 쉽게 설치할 수 있고, 모듈화 구조로 개발되어 확장이 가능하다. 줌라 또한 APM 환경에서 강력한 기능을 가진 CMS로서 CMS에 기반한 LMS 컴포넌트를 제공하여 설치가 가능하다. 쉬운 설치와 강력한 기능, 사용자에게 친숙한 인터페이스로 사용자가 점점 늘고 있다. 이 연구에서 구현된 시스템은 기존의 국내외 상용 소프트웨어와 비교, 평가하여 초기에 많은 비용을 투자하지 않고, 오픈소스 소프트웨어를 활용하여 학습관리시스템 구축을 할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 1) 집단 급식소의 재고 관리 시스템에 관한 자기학습식 Module (Self-instructional Module)을 개발하고, 2) 비동등 통계 실험연구 디자인 (Nonequivalent Control group research design)을 사용하요 자기학습식 재고 관리 시스템 Module의 교육적 효과를 평가하여, 3) 교육기관 및 집단 급식소에서의 교육용 교재로서의 타당성 여부를 검증하고자 함이다. 집단급식소의 재고 관리 시스템에 관한 자기학습식 Module을 개발하기 위해서 현재 미국 전역의 가정대학 내의 식품영양 및 급식경양학과에서 재고 관리에 관련된 교과목을 위하여 채택되어 사용되어지고 있는 주요 교과서들의 내용 분석과 급식경영학 전공 교수 3인의 판단에 기초를 두어 재고관리에 포함되어야 할 내용이 분석되었다. 포함되어져 있는 내용의 목차는 반입(receiving), 저장(storing), 출고(issuing), 재고통제(inventory control), 재고의 자산적 가치(inventory valuation) 및 재고관리 시스템의 자동화(inventory control computer system)등이다. 실험 대상은 Iowa 주립대학에서 급식정보관리 (Foodservice Management Information System) 과목을 수강하였던 88명의 학생이며, 강의를 통해 수업을 받은 통제집단 46명과, 자기 학습식 Module을 사용했던 실험집단 42명으로 구성되었다. 모든 실험 대상에게는 사전검사(Pretest)와 사후검사(posttest)를 실시하였으며 자료의 처리는 SPSS PC Package를 통계법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 강의 중심의 통제집단과 자기학습식 Module을 사용했던 실험집단 간의 통제 후 평균 값(posttest adjusted mean score)사이에는 유의적인 차이를 보였으며 (p<0.05), 자기 학습식 Module 그룹에 속해 있던 학생들이 더 높은 통제 후 평균값(adjusted mean score)을 보여 주었다. 그러므로, 이 실험을 통하여, 개발된 집단 급식소 재고관리 시스템에 대한 자기학습식 Module은 학생들에게 재고관리 시스템에 관한 개념과 내용의 습득력을 향상시키는데 있어서 적어도 강의식 교수법과 동일하거나 더나은 교육적 효과를 가져왔다고 판단되었다.

현재의 교육에 있어서 정보의 가치는 무한한 가능성을 내포하고 있다. 하지만 학습 과정에서 생성되는 많은 정보들이 재활용되지 못하고 있다. 학습 과정에서 학습자들이 생성한 결과물을 차기 학습에 참고자료로서 재활용될 경우 보다 체계적이고 질적으로 향상된 학습 과정 개발이 가능하며 또한 풍부한 실질적인 학습 참고 자료를 제공함으로써 학습 효과를 향상시킬 수 있다. 학습 과정에서 생성된 정보들을 체계적으로 관리, 검색 및 활용할 수 있는 교육용 저장소 관리 시스템이 요구된다. 이 논문에서는 이를 위한 E-Repository 시스템을 제안한다. E-Repository 시스템은 생성된 학습 결과물은 체계적으로 등록, 관리하고 학습들이 활용할 수 있는 기능을 제공함으로써 학습 효과를 배가시키고 보다 풍부한 정보의 제공 및 공유를 가능하게 한다. 이는 더 나아가 보다 체계적인 학습 과정 개발을 가능하게 할 것이다.

본 논문은 웹을 통한 학습활동(WBI)에서 초등학생들의 창의력 신장을 위한 시스템 구축 방안을 제시하였다. 제안된 시스템은 학습자 모듈과 관리자 모듈로 구성하였으며 창의력 신장을 위한 학습자 모듈은 유창성, 융통성, 독창성을 신장시킬 수 있는 학습활동을 수행하게 하며 관리자 모듈은 학습자의 학습활동을 지원하고 평가한다. 유창성 향상은 끝말잇기 놀이, 낱말 연상하기, 낱말가방, 용도 찾기, 융통성은 비유하기 놀이, 공통점 찾기, 만약에 놀이, 독창성은 만화 대사 넣기, 그림보고 이야기 꾸미기, 아이디어 공모 등의 학습방안이 제시되었다. 관리자 모듈은 학습자의 학습활동 결과를 열람하고 즉시 평가하여 피드백을 제공할 수 있으며, 학습자의 학습 효과를 극대화하기 위하여 학습 활동 내용을 수정할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 WBI 시스템은 창의력 신장 프로그램을 Web상에서 구현한 것으로 인터넷의 장점을 교육에 효과적으로 이용한 경우가 될 것으로 보인다.

본 논문에서는 머신러닝, 데이터 처리 학습을 위한 EPL 기반 D.I.Y 실습 플랫폼을 통한 학생들의 학습을 통합 관리, 학습 능률 향상, 학습 흥미 유도하고 나아서 학생의 학습 패턴을 분석해 그에 적절한 강의 추천을 목표로 하는 지능형 통합 학습 관리 플랫폼을 제안한다.

As e-learning is recognized in new education form, Learning Management System that manage general activity of learning to maximize effect of education is being developed actively. Usually, Learning Management System includes course registration and learning as well as learner's learning recording and tracking, evaluation in online. But, most systems is lacking a tool that learners can collaborate with companion learners, and planning learning and set valuation basis as leading. In this paper, we can expect effective collaborative learning activities because can make debate and team project smooth by suggesting collaborative learning module that can drive voluntary participation such as group formation, learning plan, mutually estimation as leading to learner in Learning Management System of blended learning base that support online and offline environment both.

If we followed to be based on the result of survey for researching on the actual condition about e-Learning of the MOE(2004), the critical problem has been suggested managing the quality of teaching and learning materials(37.68%(1775/4717)). If we also reviewed the research of the KICE(2002), the superior material's rate of 70,000 teaching and learning materials of the web site, the educational organization, and teachers was 8.7%. There was some suggestions about the quality problem of the teaching and learning material, but there wasn't the alternative policy: there wasn't the systemic program for managing the message quality of teaching and learning materials. The purpose of this study was to develop the alternative system for managing the message quality of teaching and learning materials. The alternative system of this study's result will be the basic to build the system for managing the message quality of teaching and learning materials. I expect that my system will be the useful tool for managing the message quality of teaching and learning materials.

South Korea is one of major trading partner of Philippines. Many Korean manufacturers and tour companies have branches in the Philippines. Korean companies need to enhance Korean language capabilities for Filipino employee. South Korea has many successive experiences for e-learning. In this paper, we developed Learning Management System (LMS) for Philippines. LMS was implemented in JAVA, ASP and HTML. All lectures are stored in database managed by MS SQL-server.
