The paper is analyzed the mathematics curriculum of Korea and the philosophy of the mathematics education in the history of mathematics education. We have found that the various philosophy of Western mathematics education have led us to various views of the mathematics curriculum of Korea. This change of the mathematics curriculum in Korea have important implications to the didactics of mathematics. This study tried to find out the direction of outlook on the mathematics education in the future.

This study explores the academic development of the Political Economy of Communication, which is pursued by reviewing academic characteristics, research subjects, key scholars, formal and informal institution as an academic hub, key articles, major academic associations and academic journals. In addition, this study examines important theoretical limitations and tasks to deal with in the future, which have been exposed through several heated debates with other research traditions such as Cultural Studies and Post Modernism.

본 논문은 지리교육의 통합을 위한 논리적 토대와 준거틀을 구축하고, 이를 토대로 통합의 구성원리 제시를 목적으로 하고 있다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 새로운 지리교육이 삶과 삶의 터전을 위한 것이라면, 지리교육은 삶의 통합적인 모습을 해석하고, 이해하는 쪽으로 가야 한다. 2) 지리교육과정의 통합은 지역을 중심으로, 그 속의 지리적 현상을 주제로 간학문적.초학문적 통합의 장점이 조화된 통합 방식이 가장 적절하다. 3) 지역 중심의 주제를 통한 통합지리교육의 주목적은 학습자들이 자신들의 삶의 터전 속에 내재된 지리적 의미를 찾아 해석하고 이해하는 것이며, 부차적으로 이 과정에서 관련된 지리적 지식을 능동적으로 구성하는 것이다. 4) 통합지리교육은 지역화 지리교과서 편찬으로부터 출발해야 한다.

연결주의적 선회'(the connectionistic turn)를 말할 만큼 학문적 방법론과 이론적 관점에 중요한 변화를 가져오고 있는 연결주의를 철학에서의 원자주의와 대비시켜서 고찰한다. 특히 원인론, 실재론 및 의미론의 문제에 관하여 연결주의적 관점이 어떤 의미를 갖는지 검토해 본다.

This is the first study of the relation between the controversy on Korean Economics and the controversy on the capitalist social formation of Korea in the 1970-80. The main results of this study is as following: Almost all Korean Economists think 'Korean Economics' do not exist, but korean philosophers think Korean philosophy which is different from western philosophy do exist. So Korean economists tend to believe in the universal validity of western economics. In fact, Some Korean Economists began to argued about universal validity of American-Western economics and making Korean Economics in 1970s, the controversy ceased in the mid of 1980s. Left-wing Economists insisted that the right wing conservetive economics is imported from, mainly, U.S.A, Korea is academic colony of U.S.A. But progressive economics was also imported from Western world, or Soviet Union in the process of controvesy on Korean capitalist social formation in 1980s. It is necessary to retrospect and re-examine the controversy on Korean Economics and on Korean capitalist social formation to develop Economics of Korea.

국내 대학들은 선택의 기로에 서 있는 것으로 보인다. 그러나 경쟁논리의 강화로 인해 대학이 생산할 지식이 기술과 실용 중심으로 치달을 때 발생할 문제가 적지 않다고 볼 때 '리엔지니어링'을 하기 위한 대학 개혁방안을 선뜻 환영할 수는 없다. 따라서 어렵더라도 개혁의 또 다른 방식을 모색하지 않으면 안된다. 이 새로운 방식은 통합학문 형태여야 할 것이다. 인간 능력의 통합화가 파편화보다는 낫다는 측면에서도 일단 통합 학문적 접근이 분과학문 체제에 비해 바람직하다. 이를 위해 개별 대학과 국가 차원의 학문 전략 수립, 학문 세계 내부의 민주화가 필요하며 권위주의를 혁파해야 한다.

This study explores the trends and implications of social welfare qualitative research in Korea. The results are follows. At present, social welfare qualitative research is entering in the quickening period. The characteristics of configuration of social welfare qualitative research in Korea are overwhelming inferiority in post-positivism and heuristics, wide differences between universities in metropolitan area and in local area at the aspect of amounts of qualitative research products, rapid increase in the interests of qualitative research in doctoral candidates, and distinguishment of doctoral candidates as a leader group in qualitative research. The results of critics of qualitative researches are follow: 1) initiative of naturalistic interpretism 2) inclination of methodicism 3) poorness of critical themes 4) propensity in grounded theory. These trends of social welfare qualitative research in Korea, in spite of the limits, have various implications: 1) Trying to critics of social welfare knowledge based on positivism and formation of opposing discourse to positivism 2) diversification in paradigm of inquiry 3) spread of narrative thinking of social welfare phenomenon.
