A Study on Power Conversions of the Power Supply for Fire Safety Use (소방용 전원장치의 전력변환에 관한 연구)

  • 최근 우리나라에서는 대형 화재사고가 빈번히 발생함에 따라 그로 인한 재산 및 인명피해가 날로 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 건축물 내에서 화재가 발생할 경우 인명피해를 최소화하기 위하여 피난유도설비의 설치를 의무화하고 있다. 지금까지 일반적으로 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 피난유도설비로는 유도등이 있으며, 최근 들어 피난유도선의 설치도 다중이용업소를 중심으로 점차 확대되어가고 있는 추세이다. 피난유도설비는 평상시 이용되는 교류 상용전원에 의해서뿐만 아니라 비상시 이용되는 직류 비상전원에 의해서도 정상적으로 작동되어야 하기 때문에, 피난유도설비의 전원장치는 주어진 전원으로부터 주어지는 교류 또는 직류를 발광부에 맞게 일정한 전압과 주파수로 변환시켜주어야 한다. 실제로 LED(발광다이오드) 유도등은 상용전원으로부터 220V의 교류를 받아서 전원장치에서 정류변환을 통해 얻어지는 낮은 전압 24V의 직류를 이용하며, 대부분의 유도등 백라이트로 사용되고 있는 CCFL(냉음극형광램프)에는 상용전원으로부터 220V, 60Hz 교류를 인가받아 전원장치에서 정류 역변환을 통해 만들어진 100kHz의 고주파 교류가 공급된다. 더욱이 유도선의 전원장치에서는 상용전원 220V, 60Hz의 교류를 인가받아 정류 역변환 및 교류변환 과정을 차례로 거쳐 최종적으로 100V, 400Hz의 교류로 전환하여 TFEL(박막전계발광) 소자로 전송하게 된다. 한편, 상용전원이 차단된 상태에서도 전원장치는 마찬가지로 비상전원으로부터 24V의 직류를 공급받아 인버터를 통해 역변환 하여 100kHz의 고주파 교류를 만들어 주거나 추가적인 교류변환을 거쳐 100V, 400Hz의 교류로 변환시켜 내보낸다. 본 연구에서는 상대적으로 복잡한 전력변환 회로들을 포함하고 있는 유도선의 전원장치를 개선하여, 전원장치의 연결가능길이를 기존의 60m에서 최대 100m까지 연장시킴으로써, 터널이나 지하도와 같은 곳에서 특히 경쟁력을 갖게 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • If a disaster occurs in the underground like subway, disaster response system should minimize the casualties. It must quickly guide passengers to a safe evacuation route. But sometimes the system does not work properly. And then they need distributed disaster response system which make decision autonomously. In this study, we proposed the evacuation route analysis and induction algorithms for creationg passenger evacuation route and offering optimal evacuation route.

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate consciousness for the effect of evacuation guidance in case of ship blackout condition evacuation. As a research result, 74.3% of respondents answered that evacuation guidance is strongly helpful in the event of ship blackout condition.

  • In this study, a simulated situation in which the visions of the evacuees were blocked by the smoke, which is one of the most dangerous factors that cause casualties in case of an emergency, was conducted for the evaluation of the performance of an evacuation guidance system. For this purpose, the behavior and time taken by the experiment subjects in simulated evacuation test were measured and analyzed. When the evacuation guidance sound signals were given by 4 speakers at the same time, most of the subject were disoriented and took generally longer in getting to the pre-designated evac point. And, using only one speaker instead of two showed a better result in terms of the evacuation behavior or and orientation. Also, when there were two or more speakers used for the broadcasting of the guidance message, it turned out that using Hass effect, and placing the speakers closer, could result in higher awareness of the guidance message and maintenance of the orientation, while it also made the subjects took short to get to the evac point.

  • 이 연구에서는 해양 사고 중 인명 사고가 큰 여객선 주요 피난경로와 구역에 사고에 대한 예방과 거주구역 환경 개선 사항을 안전디자인을 통해 제시 한다. 이를 위해 대피를 효과적으로 유도 할 수 있는 디자인 개선사항과 안전 디자인이 피난의 기능을 넘어서 선박 거주구에 배치 되었을 때 심리적 심미적으로 미치는 영향에 관한 연구이다.

A Study on the Optimized Announcement Based Evacuation Guidance Using Haas Effect (선행음 효과를 이용한 최적의 음성피난유도음에 관한 연구)

  • In case of an emergency such as a fire on a building and there is a need to evacuate the occupant in that building, it is important to have the guidance information effectively delivered to the evacuating occupants to guide them toward a safe direction using audio sensual media. And, it is also very important to prevent the evacuating occupants getting lost or falling astray, away from the direction toward safety. The purpose of this study, in this respect, is to examine the possible application of the precedent sound effect, with which the evacuating occupants may get a sense of the direction where the announcement comes from. With such an effect, an experiment was conducted to measure the extent to which people can hear the preceding and the following sound in terms of the acoustic pressure level changes and delay time changes, with a view to make the optimal evacuation-guidance announcement or sound. The optimal evacuation guidance sound (announcement) per each of the experimental indoors environments were as follows; 1) Regarding the optimal condition for the evacuation guidance announcement sound in the space of a lecture room, the direction of the advanced sound is positively recognized when the follow-up sound has the delaying time of 10 ms~50 ms in comparison with the advanced sound or when there is no difference between the acoustic pressures of the advanced and follow-up sounds or the acoustic pressure of the advanced sound is higher than that of the follow-up sound. 2) Regarding the optimal evacuation guidance announcement sound in the space of a hall, the advanced sound is positively recognized when the follow-up sound has the delaying time of 20 ms~60 ms in comparison with the advanced sound. 3) Regarding the optimal evacuation guidance announcement sound in the space of a gymnasium, the advanced sound is positively recognized when the follow-up sound has the delaying time of 10 ms~40 ms in comparison with the advanced sound or when the sound pressure of the advanced sound has a higher level than or the same level as that of the follow-up sound.

  • We propose a shelter guidance system using the PLC communication to resolve that a conventional shelter guidance light for underground space has problems. The proposed shelter guidance system is composed of a main control part, a PLC remote control part, a charging part, a sound generation part, a display part, an alarm part and a smoke sensing part.. The efficacy of the proposed system is verified by means of experimental. Experimental results are presented that show the effectiveness and the improvement of noise.

  • 최근 건축구조물의 복잡화, 다양화로 인하여 화재발생시 유독가스의 심각성과 공간의 특수성으로 인하여 대형 참사가 발생될 위험이 더욱 커짐에 따라 인명피해와 직접적으로 연결되는 피난탈출에 있어서 조속한 대책 마련이 시급한 실정이다. 기존 방식의 고정식 단방향을 표시하는 피난유도등은 효율적인 인명 대피 및 구조가 이루어지지 못하기 때문에 화재 발생 시 빠른 피난이 가능하도록 화재감지기와 연동하여 위험에 처한 피난자들을 탈출시키고 화재의 발생위치를 정확히 파악하여 초기 진압할 수 있는 시스템 구축이 절실히 요구된다. 이러한 점에 착안하여 ID를 가지는 화재 감지기 및 수신반과 연동하여 화재가 발생하면 화재가 발생된 방향의 반대 방향으로 모든 유도등의 방향을 제어하여 안전한 비상출입구로 사람들을 유도시키고 화염 및 연기의 방향과 속도를 계산하여 초기진압 및 최적 대피로로 방향을 표시하는 인공지능형 방향성 유도등 개발에 본 연구의 목적이 있다.

  • In case of a fire in urban large structures such as super high-rise buildings, evacuation guidance must be provided to the occupants in order to minimize human deaths and injuries. Therefore, it is essential to provide emergency evacuation guidance when a major fire occurs. In order to effectively support evacuation guidance, it is important to identify major items such as fire location, occupant position, escape route, etc. Also, it is important to quickly identify evacuation areas where residents can safely evacuate from a fire. In this paper, we analyze the CCTV video and propose a method of measuring visibility of the evacuation zone from the smoke caused by the fire in order to determine the safety of evacuation area. To do this, we first extract the background video from the smoke video to measure the visibility of the specific area due to smoke. After generating an edge-extracted image for the extracted background video, the degree of visibility is measured by calculating the change in the edge strength due to smoke.
