The Construction of Marriage Support Program for Couples in Early Stage of Marriage (결혼초기 부부를 위한 부부교육프로그램의 구성)

  • 본 프로그램은 현대사회에서 급증하는 부부간의 부적응에 미연에 예방한다는 취지에 따라 개인의 성장 및 부부간 상호이해증진과 공동체의식향상을 통해 부부 자체의 문제해결능력을 강화시키는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 프로그램의 구성을 위해서는 부부교육 프로그램의 사회적 기여도를 고려해서 한국 사회의 위기집단이 누구인지를 파악한후 그들에게 필요한 구체적 도움을 살펴보았으며, 이를 통해 교육목표를 설정하였다. 교육방법은 실제경험을 함께 나눔로써 상호교육효과를 이룰 수 있는 소규모집단 (약 3~5쌍) 교육을 실시하였으며, 교육대상은 중산층의 결혼초기(결혼 5년이내) 부부들로 하였다. 교육내용은 교육목표에 따라 논리적이고 체계적인 연계성을 갖도록 하였다. 구체적으로 부부의 애정 증진, 결혼생활에 대한 부부 각자의 이해차이와 문제 접근 및 해결방식의 차이 지각, 부부간의 효과적인 문제해결 방식으로서의 부부의 상호교류 방식을 파악한 후 수정해보며, 그리고 부부의 문제해결 방식에 대한 조언과 평가를 통해 끊임없는 부부간의 성장을 유도하였다.

  • 본 연구는 관절가동범위 및 근력강화운동, 반복적인 과제-지향적 활동으로 구성된 복합운동프로그램을 뇌졸중 환자에게 2년 4개월 동안 적용하여 상지 기능 및 균형 능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상자는 뇌졸중으로 인한 좌측 편마비 증상을 보이는 68세 여성으로 매 회기 1시간씩, 주 3회, 2년 4개월 동안 복합운동프로그램을 수행하였다. 대상자의 상지 기능은 브론스트롬의 손 회복 단계와 상지 회복단계, Fugl-Meyer Assessment of Motor Function, 뇌졸중 상지기능검사로, 균형 능력은 Tinetti Gait & Balance Scale로 평가하였다. 연구 결과 대상자의 상지 기능과 균형 능력이 유지 및 향상 되었다. 이를 통하여 만성 뇌졸중 환자에서 상지 및 균형 능력의 유지 및 증진을 위한 지속적인 복합 운동프로그램 수행의 유효성을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The need for artificial intelligence education has emerged, and countries around the world are announcing artificial intelligence strategies. Artificial intelligence education is reflected in the main points of the 2022 revised curriculum general published in Korea. Along with this interest, programs related to artificial intelligence education are being developed, but it is difficult to find artificial intelligence programs for lower grades of elementary school. This study aims to develop a data collection education program for the lower grades of elementary school through a series of analysis-design-development-application-evaluation processes and apply it to first-grade elementary school students to verify its effectiveness. Through the developed program, it is expected that students will be able to understand and feel interested in artificial intelligence, and develop an attitude of collecting data in their daily lives through the process of searching for various types of data in their daily lives.

Development and Evaluation of a Dysphagia Assessment Tool and an Intervention Program for the Elderly in the Long-Term Care Facilities (노인요양시설 노인의 연하곤란 사정도구, 중재프로그램 개발 및 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a dysphagia assessment tool and a intervention program for elderly in the long-term care facilities and to evaluate its effect. The dysphagia assessment tool consists of 20 items was developed through literature review, previous studies and discussion with nursing/medical members. The intervention program consisted of 72 items and participants for evaluation were 50 elders who were registered at long-term care facilities in 4 regions of Seoul. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 18.0 and Spearman's Correlation, t-test, and $x^2$-test. After the application of the dysphagia assessment tool and intervention program, the weight in experimental group was increased (t=4.913, p=.000) and the total time of swallowing was reduced (t=-4.557, p=.000) than control group. These findings were statistically significant. Considering these results, by applying the dysphagia assessment tool and the intervention program, the lives of the elderly in long-term care facilities are expected to be improved and emergency situations such as aspiration pneumonia and asphyxia will be decreased.

  • 스프린트는 치주처지료에서 부가적 처치법으로 널리 사용되고 있으며, 한편, 디지털 공제 활영술은 기존방사선촬영술의 한계점을 극복하기 위해 기발된 새로운 방법이다. 이번 연구에서는 치근활택술 단독시행시와 스피린트 병행 처치시의 효과를 임상적, 방사선학적으로 비교하였다. 중정도의 성인성 치주염을 가진 20명의 환자를 대상으로 하되 10명은 치근활택술 단독으로, 나머지 10명은 스프린트 병행처치로 처치하였다. 임상적, 방사선학적인 평가는 처치전, 처치후 6개월에 행하고, 임상적 평가의 경우 3개월에 추가로 실시하였다. 이번 연구에서 사용된 임상 지수로는 치태지수, 치은지수, 치은퇴축, 치주낭깊이, 임상부착수준, 임상부착증가, 탐침시출혈, 치아동요도 등이며, 방사선학적 평가는 기존 방사선촬영술에 의한 방법과 디지털 공제촬영수렝 의한 방법으로 행하였다. 디지털 공제 촬영술에 의한 평가시, 영상은 Digora 프로그램에 의해 획득하고 Emago 프로그램으로 처리 하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 처치후 3개월에 치태지수, 치은지수, 치은퇴축, 치주낭깊이, 임상적부착수준, 탐침시 출혈 등의 임상지수들이 변했으며, 특히 이러한 변화는 치주낭깊이, 치은퇴축, 탐침시출혈에서 유의성이 있었다. ( p<0.05 ) 그러나 두군간 차이는 인정되지 않았다. ( p>0.05 ) 2. 처치후 6개월에도 치태지수, 치은지수, 치은퇴축, 치주낭깊이, 임상적부착수준, 탐침시출혈, 치아동요도 등의 임상지수들이 변했으며, 특히 이러한 변화는 치주낭깊이, 치은퇴축, 탐침시출혈, 치태지수, 치아동요도에서 유의성이 있었다. ( p<0.05 ) 그러나 두 군간 차이는 인정되지 않았다. ( p>0.05 ) 3. 켄달 상관분석시, 임상적 평가와 기존 방사선 촬영술에 의한 평가사이의 관련성을 낮았으며 거의 0에 가까운 수치를 보였으며 (r=0.110, p=0.639 ) 임상적 평가와 디지털 공제 방사선 촬영술에 의한 평가사이에서 약간 높은 관련성을 보였다. ( r=0.257, p=0.315 ) 즉 치주치료후의 골변화는 디지털 공제 방사선 촬영술에 의한 평가시 기존 방사선 사진보다 임상적 부착증가와 더욱 긴밀한 관련성을 보여준다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때, 스프린팅 처치는 치주 치료에 있어 치근활택술에 부가적 표과를 제공하지 못한다.

An Analysis of the Impact of Independent Research Program on the Educational Experience of Undergraduate Students in Science and Engineering Colleges (이공계열 학생들의 탐구능력 향상과 자기주도적 학습을 돕는 학생연구프로그램의 운영 성과 및 평가)

  • In this research, we analyzed the effects of the independent research program on the educational experience of undergraduate students in a research-centered university setting. The independent research program was developed to provide undergraduate students with opportunities to engage in self(student)-initiated, self-regulated and self-responsible research projects. We hypothesized that outcomes of the program would be utilized as a baseline information in formulating the strategies for improvement of the undergraduate curriculum. Eighty three undergraduate students participated in the program during the period of 2003-2009. In order to evaluate results of the program, we carried out survey and in-depth interviews with the participants. According to the participant reports, the independent research program has helped them to develop self-managed research abilities and problem solving skills. They also indicate that the program has offered them the opportunities to survey the various major fields transcending different domains, so as to help them to contemplate on their future career choices. We suggest that such information may provide an essential guideline for developing an innovative undergraduate curriculum.

Effects of a Health Diary Program on Fall-Related Outcomes in Low-Income Elderly Women with Osteoarthritis (건강다이어리 프로그램이 저소득 관절염 여성노인의 낙상관련 심리적 변수에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the effects of a health diary program on fall related outcomes the low-income elderly women. Methods: The study was carried out with a nonequivalent control group with pretest-posttest design. The study was composed of two groups, each made up of 24 subjects: experimental group and control group. The subjects were low-income women aged over 65 years with osteoarthritis and both the experimental and control groups were made up of subjects with the same age profiles. The independent variable was the health diary program, and the dependent variables were fall related outcomes (fear of falling, fall-efficacy, knowledge of fall) difficulty of performing activity, and mood state. The health diary program was performed for 50 minutes each session and twice a week for 8 weeks. Data were collected before the health diary program 10 weeks after the beginning of the program. Results: The experimental group showed significant differences in knowledge of fall, fear of falling, and mood state compared to the control group. However there was no significant differences in difficulty of performing activity and fall efficacy. Conclusion: The results of this study may be used as part of an education to prevent falls for low-income elderly women with osteoarthritis.

Fast Join Mechanism that considers the switching of the tree in Overlay Multicast (오버레이 멀티캐스팅에서 트리의 스위칭을 고려한 빠른 멤버 가입 방안에 관한 연구)

  • More than a decade after its initial proposal, deployment of IP Multicast has been limited due to the problem of traffic control in multicast routing, multicast address allocation in global internet, reliable multicast transport techniques etc. Lately, according to increase of multicast application service such as internet broadcast, real time security information service etc., overlay multicast is developed as a new internet multicast technology. In this paper, we describe an overlay multicast protocol and propose fast join mechanism that considers switching of the tree. To find a potential parent, an existing search algorithm descends the tree from the root by one level at a time, and it causes long joining latency. Also, it is try to select the nearest node as a potential parent. However, it can't select the nearest node by the degree limit of the node. As a result, the generated tree has low efficiency. To reduce long joining latency and improve the efficiency of the tree, we propose searching two levels of the tree at a time. This method forwards joining request message to own children node. So, at ordinary times, there is no overhead to keep the tree. But the joining request came, the increasing number of searching messages will reduce a long joining latency. Also searching more nodes will be helpful to construct more efficient trees. In order to evaluate the performance of our fast join mechanism, we measure the metrics such as the search latency and the number of searched node and the number of switching by the number of members and degree limit. The simulation results show that the performance of our mechanism is superior to that of the existing mechanism.

  • This study analyzed the effect of participation in work and learning ducal system of small businesses on employees' job competency enhancement. The study results showed that performance assessment significantly affected job competency enhancement(p<.001, ${\beta}=.514$). In conclusion, it is suggested that small businesses should consider performance assessment more important and actively include it in training program as generally utilizing off-the-job or on-the-job training method. This study provided implications for analyzing the effect of participation in work and learning ducal system of small businesses on employees' job competency enhancement, so it broadened the scope of the study about performance of work and learning ducal system and verified the effectiveness depend on the type of training.

Development and Application of Teacher Education Programs to Promote Evolutionary Theory as a Unifying Theory in Biolog (생물학에서 진화론의 역할에 대한 인식 향상을 위한 교사교육 프로그램의 개발 및 적용)

  • Many biologists and various educational associations define evolution as a unifying theme as well as a central idea in biology. In this study, teacher education programs were developed as 18-hour courses on understanding the unified role and significance of evolution in biology, and their effectiveness was tested. As factors for the program content, enhancement of the acceptance of evolution, reinforcement of the conception of evolutionary theory, and recognizing and practicing evolution as the unifying nature of evolution were considered. Hands-on activities, self- and peer-evaluation, and projects based on the small teams including frequent questioning and feedback by instructors were considered methodological factors. Six in-service biology teachers and seven pre-service teachers took part in the programs of the graduate school of H university to testing their effectiveness. They were effective in improving the acceptance of evolution, the understanding of evolutionary mechanism, the perception on the unified role of evolution. The programs also induced a positive change in self-evaluation for knowledge of evolution and perception on importance of evolution in biology. Subsequent studies on whether the changed perceptions of the teachers who participated in the programs reflect on their biology classes in secondary schools after finishing the graduate program are required.
