In animation films, the movements of characters are exaggerated and comical. Traditional key-frame animation techniques allow to control exaggeration and comicality of characters at animators' wills. But, recently introduced motion capture techniques have limits on representing comicality and exaggeration although it is convenient to capture subjects' natural looks. This paper chooses two animations from key-frame and motion capture techniques and looks into comicality and exaggeration of characters by analyzing movements and motion of them Movements are classified as four fundamental motion elements - running, jump, gesture and walking - and are analyzed to compare the way of representation from two films. By studying similarity and differentiation of movements of two films, this paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of key-frame and motion capture techniques in terms of exaggeration and comicality. Comparison of the character movements from two techniques shows that there are common differentiations of those movements.

This study presents an empirical study of classification system design focused upon an image design team within an organizational setting. It aims to understand collaboration during design practice. Data was collected through on-site interviews, observations, and document and email reviews. This study uses social process model as a conceptual framework. The study revealed type of collaboration, factors influencing collaboration, influences of collaboration on design practice.

본 연구는 망의 가용성이나 보안성을 확보하는 것이 중요한 통신사업자들에게 전국적인 IT 인프라에서 발생하는 해킹이나 기타 보안 위협에 따른 피해를 최소화하고, 위협에 대해서 능동적으로 방어하기 위하여 구축하는 조기경보 시스템에 대한 연구이다. 이러한 조기경보시스템을 구축함으로서 해킹, 바이러스, 웜 등의 다양한 전자적인 침해사고 등의 이벤트를 수집, 분류하고 빠른 시간 안에 대응할 수 있는 시스템을 갖추게 된다. 본 연구는 통신사업자가 조기경보시스템(EWIS : Early Warning Information System)을 구축하기 위해서 필요한 프레임워크를 제시하는데 있다.

음성인식 및 음성신호처리 분야에서 신경회로망은 음성인식의 카테고리 분류에 주로 이용되고 있다는 점에 착안하여, 본 논문에서는 신경회로망의 입력신호로 음성의 진폭 스펙트럼 및 위상 스펙트럼을 사용한 잡음억제를 위한 신경회로망을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘은 고속 푸리에 변환(Fast Fourier Transform, FFT)에 의한 진폭 스펙트럼 및 위상 스펙트럼을 사용한 잡음억제 신경회로망을 이용하여 각 프레임에서 FFT 스펙트럼을 추정한다.

동영상 프레임 내 객체 영역들을 배경으로부터 분할하는 기술인 동영상 객체 분할(video object segmentation)은 다양한 컴퓨터 비전 분야에 활용 가능한 연구 분야이다. 최근, 동영상 객체 분할과 관련된 연구 내용으로 CVPR, ICCV, ECCV의 컴퓨터 비전 최우수 학회에 매년 20편 가까이 발표될 정도로 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 동영상 객체 분할은 사용자가 제공하는 정보에 따라 비지도(unsupervised) 동영상 객체 분할, 준지도(semi-supervised) 동영상 객체 분할, 인터렉티브(interactive) 동영상 객체 분할의 세 카테고리로 분류할 수 있다. 본 고에서는 최근 연구가 활발하게 수행되고 있는 비지도 동영상 객체 분할과 준지도 동영상 객체 분할 연구의 최신 동향에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 웨이블릿을 이용한 알고리즘으로 얼굴을 검출하고 검출된 얼굴을 움직이는 Pan-Tilt 카메라상에서 추적하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 우리는 얼굴 검출을 위해 다섯 종류의 간단한 웨이블릿을 사용하여 특징을 추출하였고 AdaBoost(Adaptive Boosting) 알고리즘을 이용한 계층적 분류기를 통하여 추출된 특징들 중에서 얼굴을 검출하는데 강인한 특징들만을 모았다. 이렇게 만들어진 특징집합들을 이용하여 입력받은 영상에서 초당 20프레임의 실시간으로 얼굴을 검출하였고 영상에서 얼굴 위치와 Pan-Tilt 카메라 위치를 계산하여 실시간으로 움직임을 추적하는데 성공하였다.

본 논문에서는 간단한 사각형 특징과 계층적 분류기를 이용하여 실시간으로 얼굴을 검출하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 우리는 다섯 가지 형태의 기본적인 특징 모델을 바탕으로 20*20 크기의 훈련 영상에 적용하여 많은 초기 특징 집합을 구성하였다. AdaBoost(Adaptive Boosting) 알고리즘을 이용한 학습을 통하여 초기 특징 집합 중에서 얼굴 검출하는데 강인한 집합들만을 선택하였다. 제안된 알고리즘을 이용한 실제 실험에서 90% 이상의 높은 검출율을 확인하였고 초당 10프레임의 실시간 검출에도 성공하였다.

CG 기술의 발전으로 실사 이미지 위에 3d 애니메이션을 적용하는 실감나는 영화를 많이 볼 수 있다 그러나 아직까지도 실사 이미지와 3d 애니메이션 합성은 그래픽 아티스트의 수작업이 많이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 자연 환경을 포함하는 실사 비디오에서 영상 분석 기법을 적용한 혼합 현실 시스템을 제안한다. 비디오 프레임에서 하늘, 바다 등 일정한 칼라 패턴을 가지는 영역을 분류하고 이 영역에 대해서 그래픽 객체를 삽입한다. 시스템의 각 단계에서 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하여 필요한 입력값을 제공받는다. 본 연구에서의 기법은 간단한 그래픽 입력 과정 이외에는 대부분의 과정이 자동으로 처리되므로 혼합 현실이 방송, 영화 특수 효과 등의 작업에 편리하게 이용될 수 있다.

영상 다운스케일링 기법은 입력 영상의 해상도를 목적으로 하는, 입력영상의 해상도보다 낮은 해상도로 조정하는 기법을 일컫는다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 다운스케일링 기법들을 커널 기반의 방법과 프레임 단위의 최적화 기반 기법으로 분류하고 각 방법들의 대표 기법들에 대해서 분석한다. 이후, 최종적으로 그 결과를 도출하여 각 방법들의 특성을 도출한다.

This essay would focus on a kinds of new archival strategy. The main frame has been the kinds of activities regulated by laws, or formal activities since 1999. In the case of presidential archives has no another frame. There had never kinds of presidential archives system until President Noh, if anything. It means that the frame has some important points. Although it is, we have to say about the limits of the frame. This essay show 'metaphor frame' for archival system. I think that we have to guess there are methodologies below the two frames. One is quantitative study methodology, and another is qualitative research methodology. The later focuses on the experiences for making narratives. We have to know that this methodology is out of fashioned in the field of history department and cultural anthropology department for the purpose of alternative studies. This essay says about 'archival field description' and 'narrative records' for the new records in archival field. I have to say about that we needs to discuss about kinds of new archival discours. And to conclude, we should manage the records in culture.
