Evaluation and Analysis on the Image Decision Factors of Food Service Industry - Focused on Jeonju Local Food Service Industry - (외식업체 서비스 이미지 결정 요인 평가 분석 - 전주 지역 외식업체 중심으로 -)

  • This study is focused on the image benefit cost criterion value and the pure image benefit figure of the local food service industries, V, T, and O based on the theory and factor-analyses of food service industry. To accomplish the aim of this study, theoretical and positive research methods have been applied. The steps of food service image decision projects for the activating of identification on food service have been examined through theories and positive analyses. As the results, 'the image of menu service' appears to be the most effectual factor on the pure image benefit score, which is the priority order of the project planning for the food service image marketing of Jeonju area. As for the image benefit cost criterion value, 'the image of managemental service system', 'the image of approachability', and 'the service of internal surroundings' have been proved to be the most effectual factor in V, T, O respectively. On the other hand, this study shows that V manages its image of food service most effectually with 1.7 billion won, T with 96 million won, O with 7.2 million won for the image marketing strategy.

  • Multinational brands have rapidly penetrated into the domestic dining business and their brands are increasingly recognized by Koreans. Considering fast-food as a kind of brand product, we attempt to investigate recognition of brands and association by images with the focus on visual identity. The economic value has been reevaluated with more attention on brand images and brand identity. The purpose of the current paper is to find out the meaning of brand association in the fast-food industry. Fast-food business has been rapidly increasing thanks to quick sonics, convenience, relatively low price, equalized quality of food and service. Most fast-food restaurants are run under franchised system. This helps enhance the recognition of brands among customers. We intend to see whether there is significant relationship between customers' preference of brands and brand images. We also aim to seek for their problems of identity in the merchandising process for brand colors. We hope to help develop Korean franchise industry by asking how association by visual Images such as colors and figures of such brands takes place.

  • In this study, the factors affecting opportunism that causes conflict in the franchise system between franchisor and franchisee were analyzed based on the transaction cost theory and power-dependency theory. Hypothesis 1 states that franchisor support will negatively affect opportunism. Hypothesis 2 expresses that franchisee transaction-specific investment on the relationship with the franchisor will positively affect opportunism. Hypothesis 3 asserts that franchisee dependency on the franchisor will positively affect opportunism. All of these were supported. However, Hypothesis 4, maintaining that franchisee competitive intensity will positively affect opportunism, was not supported. The theoretical and practical implications of this study are as follows. This study has identified the antecedents of franchisor opportunism that causes conflict in the franchise system by comprehensively applying the transaction cost theory and power-dependency theory. This study can also identify what a company should manage specifically to lower opportunism by identifying the antecedents of franchisor opportunism in the franchise system. The limitations of this study and the directions for future studies are as follows. First, not all of the antecedents of franchisor opportunism in the franchise system have been extensively investigated from the transaction cost theory's and power-dependency theory's viewpoint. In the future, it is necessary to identify additional factors. Second, the study was conducted only from the franchisee's perspective. In future studies, more accurate research results can be obtained by simultaneously examining the franchisee's point of view and the franchisor's point of view.

  • COVID-19 is also influencing the coffee industry. This will increase untact consumption, a new consumption trend. Consumption utilizing online channels and delivery service applications that represent untact consumption is becoming commonplace. The coffee industry is also increasingly using coffee shops with drive-through and smart ordering systems that can be ordered with minimal contact. While most of the untact services are preempted at franchise stores, many independent coffee shops still offer differentiated services by communicating directly with customers. However, along with the prolonged COVID-19 infection, coffee shops in the present era, which cannot be free from infectious diseases, have no choice but to worry about delivery services. Therefore, this study analyzed the factors that influence coffee delivery services. Research results due to the influence of COVID-19, regular delivery services have increased along with coffee delivery services. Regular delivery services will play a central role in coffee delivery services due to increased use of home cafes by consumers who want to enjoy coffee in various ways.

  • 최근 들어 전자상거래의 급속한 발달로 전 세계적으로 수송 물동량이 급격히 증대되고 있고, 이로 인해 택배사업이 대단히 활성화되고 있다. 출발지와 목적지가 서로 상이한 무수히 만은 수송 요구가 들어오면 수송 요구화물의 신속한 집배송을 위한 배차계획 및 수송계획을 세우는 것이 택배회사의 주요 업무이다. 이러한 배차 계획 및 수송 계획을 어떻게 수립하느냐에 따라 전체 수송비용뿐만 아니라 고객들의 서비스 수준에 상당한 영향을 미치게 된다. 그러나 이러한 운영적 차원에서의 의사결정 이전에 훨씬 중요하게 고려해야 할 내용이 택배네트워크의 설계 문제이다. 이러한 택배네트워크의 설계에는 터미널 개수 및 위치를 결정하는 전략적 문제와 영업소들을 터미널에 할당하는 전술적 문제로 구분될 수 있다. 현재 우리 국내에는 크고 작은 수많은 택배사업자들이 있으나, 그 중에서 비교적 규모가 큰 주요 택배회사들은 대부분 전국에 걸쳐 다수의 터미널을 설치하여 두고 수송화물의 집배송을 위한 물류거점으로 운영하고 있다. 이와 같은 터미널 위치 및 개수가 정해진 상태에서 전국에 걸쳐 분포되어 있는 영업소들을 어떤 터미널에 할당하여 처리되도록 하느냐의 여부는 수송비용 측면에서뿐만 아니라 고객들에 대한 서비스 측면에서 대단히 중요한 의사결정 중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 비용과 시간을 고려하여 전국에 걸쳐 분포되어 있는 영업소들을 어떤 터미널에 할당해야 하는지를 결정하기 위한 수리적 모형을 제시하고, 이에 대한 탐색적 해법을 제시하며, 국내의 택배회사 사례를 대상으로 모형을 적용해 보고자 한다.무가 많이 발생하는 유통 분야의 프랜차이즈 산업을 대상으로 기업정보시스템 구현 및 경쟁력 강화를 뒷받침하기 위해서, 기업간 프로세스 협업(collaboration) 부분의 데이터 및 서식, 이를 취급하는 기능과 프로세스에 대란 분석을 통해 업무 프로세스 모델링 방법론과 관련한 모델링 지침 및 메타모델을 이용한 표준 업무 프로세스 모델을 개발하여 기업간 업무 프로세스 표준화에 대한 체계적인 관리에 대한 방안을 연구하고자 한다.의Bullwhip effect를 감소시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다. 동시에 이것은 향후 e-Business 시스템 구축을 위한 기본 인프라 역할을 수행할 수 있게 된다. 많았고 년도에 따른 변화는 보이지 않았다. 스키손상의 발생빈도는 초기에 비하여 점차 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, 손상의 특성도 부위별, 연령별로 다양한 변화를 나타내었다.해가능성을 가진 균이 상당수 검출되므로 원료의 수송, 김치의 제조 및 유통과정에서 병원균에 대한 오염방지에 유의하여야 할 것이다. 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 결과에 의하면 고농도의 유기물이 함유된 음식물쓰레기는 Hybrid Anaerobic Reactor (HAR)를 이용하여 HRT 30일 정도에서 충분히 직접 혐기성처리가 가능하며, 이때 발생된 $CH_{4}$를 회수하여 이용하면 대체에너지원으로 활용 가치가 높은 것으로 판단된다./207), $99.2\%$(238/240), $98.5\%$(133/135) 및 $100\%$ (313)였다. 각

  • Recently, Korean medium-sized medical organizations require innovative strategies. Network-driven concerns in Korean medical organization have been a front burner issue to enhance economic and managerial efficiencies. Effective network-driven collaboration depends upon effective processes and economics strategies among medical providers group. From this motivation, we studied and provided the systems' theoretical background and networked hospital system structures. The aim of suggested research model in this paper is to overcome demerit of stand-alone medium-sized hospitals and analyze a system dynamics model to measure managerial performances. The developed system dynamics model is to quantify the effects of network strategy based on the historical financial data of real-life hospitals network experiences. The network effects are resulted in efficiencies and effectiveness enhancements in competitiveness through advertisement and effective education system. The simulations of system dynamics results can explain the improvement in financial outcome by joining in the network group. The network effects are shown more effective in dental hospital than other groups. In conclusion, it is expected that network effects have a critical influence of managerial, marketing, and medical collaboration performance for any type of medical hospitals.

  • This study is to make an empirical analysis of star marketing used as die means of sales promotion for Christmas cakes regardless of high advertising cos1s, by understanding the influence of attributes of celebrity advertising models for advertisements of bakery companies over die Christmas season on advertising attitude, corporation reputation and reliability which are recognized by consumers. The verification results were judged as important core elements for successful management in bakery industry. Since bakery brands are losing their differentiations in both functional and physical aspects, the study aimed to offer strategic suggestions to bakery industry. The result of study modelling were GFI=0.911, AGFI=0.887, NFI=0.935, CFI=0.979, RMR=.126 at the level of $x^2$=313.294(df-=218, p<0.001). First, model credibility and model attractiveness of advertising models bad a positive(+) influence on advertising attitude. Second, advertising attitude bad a positive(+) influence on corporation reputation and reliability. Third, corporate reputation also bad a positive(+) influence on corporate reliability.

A Study on the Design Identity of Optical Shop Brands (안경원 브랜드의 디자인아이덴티티에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the design identity visual elements of optical shop brand$\underline{s}$ in order to provide objective data necessary for optical shop brands' design development. Methods: This study examined the design identity concept of the optical shop brands and analyzed visual elements of brand design identity with a focus on the symbols of domestic franchise optical shops, type of a symbol mark, representation style of logo type, color usage, use or non-use of character, etc. Results: Many symbols were directly associated with the eyeglasses, such as eyeglasses and eyes, face and iris. Along with that, letters or figures were also observed. For the type of symbol, most types were found to have the designs that took spherical and word mark shapes. Particularly, the word mark type had English words more often than Korean words. For logo types, the gothic format was dominant. In relation to the thickness of letter, thick boldface type was commonly used. The combination of 2 degrees was the color frequency used most often in the optical shop brand design. For the frequency of color usage, black and red colors were used most often. Particularly, the orange color, as well as the black color, was also often used for the main color of symbols or logo types. Meanwhile, the characters were used only in some optical shop. Most characters were animals and expressed in the cartoon and graphical forms. Conclusions: Typifier, symbol mark, logo type, color, and character are the elements forming the basic development system for brand design identity. Systematic design is needed which clearly ensures the function and role along with the mutual consistency as a important visual component of the optical shop brand.

  • Because of the need of actual performance of education, this study aims to understand how the factors of educational content and organizational characteristics affect organizational commitment and work performance, which are organizational effects, through learning transfer. As a result, task value, job relevance, and organizational compensation had a significant effect on learning transfer, learning transfer had a significant effect on organizational commitment and work performance, and organizational commitment had a significant effect on work performance. In order to increase the learning transfer of education, when specifying the connection with the actual job and strengthening the compensation system of the members, the learning transfer can be increased and eventually connected to performance. Since limited variables are considered, a more representative sample or professional group should be extracted through future research. In future studies, it will be possible to closely grasp the relationship between learning transfer and organizational effectiveness by setting representative samples and specifying variables.

A Study on the Location of Retail Trade in Kwangju-si and Its Inhabitants와 Effcient Utilization (광주시 소매업의 입지와 주민의 효율적 이용에 관한 연구)

  • Recentry the structure of the retail trade have been chanaed with its environmantal changes. Some studies may be necessary on the changing process of environment and fundamental structure analyses of the retail trade. This study analyzes the location of retail trades, inhabitants' behavior in retail tredes and their desirable utilization scheme of them in Kwangju-si. Some study methods, contents and coming-out results are as follows: 1. Retail trades can be classified into independent stores, chain-stores (supermarket, voluntary chain and frenchiise system and convenience store), department stores, cooperative associations, traditional, markets mail-order marketing, automatic vending and others by service levels, selling-items, prices, managements, methods of retailing and store or nonstore type. 2. In Kwangju, the environment of retail trades is related to the consumers of population structure: chanes in consumers pattern, trends toward agings and nuclear family, increase of leisur: time and female advances to society. Rapid structural shift in retail trade has also been occurred due to these social changes. Traditionl and premodern markets until 1970s altere to supermarkets or department stores in 1980s, and various types, large enterprises and foreign capitals came into being in 1990s. 3. The locational characteristics of retail trades are resulted from the spatial analysis of the total population distribution, and from the calculation of segregation index in the light of potential demand. The densely-populated areas occurs in newly-built apartment housing complex which is distributed with a ring-shaped pattern around the old urban core. The numbers and rates of the aged over sixty in Kwangsan-gu and the circumference area of Mt.Moodeung, are larger and higher where rural elements are remarkable. A relation between population distribution and retail trade are analysed by the index of population per shop. The index of the population number per shop is lower in urban center, as a whole, being more convenient for consumers. In newly-formed apartment complex areas, on the other, the index more than 1,000 per shop, meeting not the demands for consumers. Because both the younger and the aged are numerous in these areas, the retail trade pattern pertinent to both are needed. Urban fringes including Kwangsan-gu and the vicinity of Mt.Moodeung have some problems owing to the most of population number per shop (more than 1, 500) and the most extensive as well. 4. The regional characteristic of retail trade is analyzed through the location quotient of shops by locational patterns and centerality index. Chungkum-dong is the highest-order central place in CBD. It is the core of retail trades, which has higher-ordered specialty store including three big department stores, supermarkets and large stores. Taegum-dong, Chungsu-dong, Taeui-dong, and Numun-dong that are neiahbored to Chungkum-dong fall on the second group. They have a central commercial section where large chain stores, specialty shopping streets, narrow-line retailing shops (furniture, amusement service, and gallary), supermarkets and daily markets are located. The third group is formed on the axis of state roads linking to Naju-kun, Changseong-kun, Tamyang-kun, Hwasun-kun and forme-Songjeong-eup. It is related to newly, rising apartment housing complex along a trunk road, and characterized by markets and specialty stores. The fourth group has neibourhood-shopping centers including older residential area and Songjeong-eup area with independent stores and supermarkets as main retailing functions. The last group contains inner residential area and outer part of a city including Songjeong-eup. Outer part of miscellaneous shops being occasionally found is rural rather than urban (Fig. 7). 5. The residents' behaviors using retail trade are analyzed by factors of goods and facilities. Department stores are very high level in preference for higher-order shopping-goods such as clothes for full dress in view of both diversity and quality of goods(28.9%). But they have severe traffic congestions, and high competitions for market ranges caused by their sma . 64.0% of respondents make combined purpose trips together with banking and shopping. 6. For more efficiency of retail-trading, it is necessary to induce spatial distribution policy with regard to opportunity frequency of goods selection by central place, frontier regions and age groups. Also we must consider to analyze competition among different types of retail trade and analyze the consumption behaviors of working females and younger-aged groups, in aspects of time and space. Service improvement and the rationalization of management should be accomplished in such as cooperative location (situation) must be under consideration in relations to other functions such as finance, leisure & sports, and culture centers. Various service systems such as installment, credit card and peremium ticket, new used by enterprises, must also be carried service improvement. The rationalization and professionalization in for the commercial goods are bsically requested.
