The purchase of information protection products accounts for the largest portion of corporate information protection activity budgets. However, there are no evaluation factors and evaluation models that should be applied to objectively compare information protection products, and therefore, product selection is difficult. Therefore, in this study, we study the inherent quality characteristics of information security products and select evaluation factors accordingly. The selected evaluation factors are analyzed and a quality determination model is given by weighting according to importance. The target is limited to the network information protection product and can be extended to all information protection products.

In the digital information environment records have an even closer relationship with business processes and become a core element of organizations' managerial activities. In practice, management is represented as congregation of business outcomes. The importance of records management is increasingly emphasized in terms of organizations' compliance, knowledge-management and risk management. However, there is currently no academic discussion on a between records management and managerial activities. In this context, the study has the notion that this should be defined and acknowledged for public institutions' effective records management. Based on the Malcolm Baldrige Model and ISO 15489, the study discusses a close between records management and management quality. The records management elements of the Malcolm Baldrige model and the managerial quality elements of ISO 15489 were analyzed. Based on the analysis, both common and neglected elements were explored in terms of records management.

멀티미디어 시스템의 사용이 일반화되고, 그 영향범위가 넓어짐에 따라 이러한 시스템의 개발과 테스트는 매우 중요한 요소가 된다. 멀티미디어 시스템은 기존의 시스템과 달리 시간-의존적이고 연속적인 미디어를 포함하여 다양한 미디어를 통합한 컨텐츠 기반 실시간 시스템이며, 사용자와의 상호작용과 네트워킹이 중요한 요소라는 점에서 기존의 시스템과 다른 개발주기. 품질 평가 척도를 가지게 된다. 이에 본 논문은 멀티미디어 시스템이 어떻게 구성되어 있으며 그 특성이 무엇인지 분석하고, 이에 기반하여 기존의 시스템과 다른 시스템 개발주기, 품질평가 척도 및 이에 따라 요구되는 테스팅 영역에 대하여 제시하고자 한다.

최근 국내 SI 사업체들은 소프트웨어의 가치를 향상시키기 위해 컴포넌트를 적극 도입하고 있다. 그러나 컴포넌트 시장을 활성화 시키기 위해서는 다양한 범주의 고객이 요구하는 양질의 컴포넌트를 풍부하게 갖추고, 고객이 시스템을 직접 개발하는 것보다 적은 비용과 시간을 소모하면서도 시스템을 구축할 수는 환경을 조성해야 한다. 그러한 환경을 구축하기 위한 요소중 고객의 구매 결정과 직결되는 가장 중요한 항목은 컴포넌트의 기술적 가치와 비즈니스적 가치의 평가와 이를 위한 시험 기준이다. 객관적이고 공정한 시험 기준이 마련되지 않는 상태에서 품질 평가가 이루어 지지 못한다면, 잠재적 고객이 구매 또는 사용하고자 하는 컴포넌트가 적절한 가치를 갖고 있는 것인지 판단할 수 있는 근거가 없고 시장 형성 초기부터 불량 컴포넌트 제품이 공급됨으로 인해 신뢰성이 저하되어 컴포넌트를 구매하는 대신 다른 대안을 선택하려 할 것이다. 객관적이고, 유력한 품질 평가 시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 품질 시험 평가를 위한 기준 마련이 선결 조건이다. 품질 시험 평가 가이드라인은 고품질의 소프트웨어 컴포넌트의 생산을 가능하게 하여, 궁극적으로 소프트웨어의 신뢰도를 향상 시키는 가장 유력한 방안이 될 것이다. 이를 통해 컴포넌트 소프트웨어의 유통 촉진 및 시장 성장을 견인, 생산/개발-유통-사용에 이르는 전체 컴포넌트 산업의 완결된 서비스를 제공 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 기준 마련을 위한 메트릭을 제공한다.

SI 프로젝트에서 품질을 혁신하기 위해서는 시스템 생명 주기 각 단계에서 품질 관리 활동을 강화해야 할 뿐만 아니라 통합된 시스템 관점에서 각 계층(Layer)별, 요소(Component)별 특성을 고려하여 체계적인 시스템 진단 평가 활동을 수행할 필요성이 있다. 시스템 진단 평가 활동은 품질 이슈를 찾아내는 작업과 품질 이슈를 해결하는 작업이 톱니바퀴처럼 맞물려 수행되어야 한다. LG CNS는 프로젝트의 품질 이슈를 적기 진단하기 위해서 시스템 진단 평가 체계를 구축했으며, 프로젝트 현장에서 이를 적용하여 품질 혁신에 기여하고 있다.

Quality of a new system is closly related to the quality of components in reuse repository. Quality assessment is essential to construct a reuse library. Definition of quality and method of assessment are totally different in reuse environments. User interface, functionality, performance are main factor in non-reuse development environment. However, reuse environment needs more reusability, extensibility, generality, and maintainability in quality assessment. This paper describes a development of quality assessment tool for multimedia object reuse conponents. Tool gets reuse components described by C++ or IDL, and analyses style, structure, coupling, strength, complexity, understandability, etc. Ultimatly the tool generate quality satisfaction degree for reuse programmers. Quality assessment services are supported in distributed object architecture, CORBA.

This study developed a model to evaluate the quality management system of a medical device manufacturing company, and applied it to medical device manufacturers to understand the impact on business performance in response to international regulations and industry's change. This study prepared preliminary items, defined four (4) major factors (Plan-Do-Check-Act) that consist of the evaluation layers and items per category according to prior research review and expert interview, and calculated the weight and importance using AHP. The study results showed that responsibility & authority and quality objective in Planning Category, product-related requirement and R&D in Doing Category, Measuring and monitoring in Check Category, and review of meeting Regulatory and regulation in Action Category are relatively more important factors. The evaluation model developed based on the calculated weight and importance to business performance was applied to medical device manufacturers to investigate and analyze the implementation level of QMS and its impact on business performance according to each category. Most medical device manufacturers to be studied showed a reasonable level of QMS and effective business performance. Almost all the evaluation layers and items in the four (4) factors had a significant influence on business performance. Although the medical device quality management system is aimed mainly at license acquisition, it is important that management environment factors not related directly to licensing and authorization are important to business performance, and it is effective when these factors are integrated and operated within and outside the manufacturer.

Although products with the fingerprint recognition system currently show a rapid growth in quantity, it is also true that efforts to consider the product quality have been lacking until now. Accordingly, this paper analyzed technological elements with domestic and foreign market situations for products with the fingerprint recognition system to develop an evaluation model to support the quality increase by evaluating aspects of product quality for the knowledge information security, identifying the level of quality and deriving directions for improvements. A model for the reliability quality evaluation was constructed that can be applied comprehensively to non-functional elements that have not been done in the existing evaluations central to the security functions by analyzing requirements for the security, performance and reliability in consideration of features on products. It is considered that this paper can make contributions to the overall quality increase for products with the knowledge information security by reflecting features and trends for the fingerprint recognition products and building a model for the reliability and evaluation to perform evaluations by product.

The purpose of this study is to classify the attributes of culinary educational quality by using the Kano model. This study carried out literary research and empirical analysis. Data were collected among 486 students whose major is culinary arts and analyzed with SPSS 19.0 and EXCEL 2007. It classified culinary educational quality by employing the Kano model and modified the Better and Worse quotients suggested by Timko. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that total 25 attributes could be classified into 17 Attractive quality attributes, 2 Must-be quality attributes and 6 Indifferent quality attributes, while One-dimensional quality, Reverse quality and Questionable quality attributes were not found. Second, according to the Better and Worse quotient by Timko, "Objective instructor's evaluation" item was the highest score in the Better quotient. On the other hand, the "Having foreign professors" item is the lowest in the Worse quotient. Third, marketing implications and limitations were discussed.
