최근 정보시스템에 대한 품질평가가 사용자만족이라는 개념을 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 그것은 단기적인 관점에서의 평가모델로서 장기적인 관점에서의 종합적인 품질평가가 필요하다. 기술적 측면과 인간적 측면의 성공요인을 모두 포함하여 평가차원을 분류하고, 사용자만족에서 희생을 함께 고려하는 사용자가치가지 확장하는 종합적 품질평가모형을 제시하고 국내기업을 대상으로 실증분석해 보고자 한다.

An image analysis-based soft sensor is designed and applied to automatic quality classification of product appearance with color-textural characteristics. In this work, multiresolutional multivariate image analysis (MR-MIA) is used in order to analyze product images with color as well as texture. Fisher's discriminant analysis (FDA) is also used as a supervised learning method for automatic classification. The use of FDA, one of latent variable methods, enables us not only to classify products appearance into distinct classes, but also to numerically and consistently estimate product appearance with continuous variations and to analyze characteristics of appearance. This approach is successfully applied to automatic quality classification of intermediate and final products in industrial manufacturing of engineered stone countertops.

급증하는 무선 인터넷 서비스 요구에 효과적으로 대처하기 위해서는 휴대성과 이동성이 보장되며 저렴한 요금을 지향하는 새로운 형태의 무선데이터 시스템인 초고속 휴대용 인터넷(High-speed Portable Internet: HPi) 시스템이 요구된다. ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute)에서 독자 개발 중인 HPi 시스템은 IEEE 802.16 표준을 기반으로 서비스 분류에 따른 차별적인 서비스를 제공한다. 이동 단말이 서로 다른 셀 영역을 이동할 경우 핸드오버를 수행하고 핸드오버 동안의 패킷 유실 발생을 방지하기 위하여 이전 AP에서 패킷 버퍼링을 해야한다. 따라서 핸드오버 동안에 HPi에서 제공하는 서비스 분류에 따른 차별적인 품질을 보장하기 위하여 서비스 클래스에 따른 차별적인 패킷 버퍼링 메커니즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 HPi에서의 핸드오버 시 차별적인 서비스 품질 보장을 위한 패킷 버퍼링 메커니즘을 제안한다.

Defects are an important factor in the quality of software developments. In order to manage defects, we propose additional information of search and classification. Additional information suggests a systematic classification scheme and method of operation. In this study, we propose additional information at the requirements analysis stage for defect management.

This paper presents an efficient text categorization algorithm that generates high quality bigrams by using the information gain metric, combined with various frequency thresholds. The bigrams, along with unigrams, are then given as features to a Naive Bayes classifier. The experimental results suggest that the bigrams, while small in number, can substantially contribute to improving text categorization. Upon close examination of the results, we conclude that the algorithm is most successful in correctly classifying more positive documents, but may cause more negative documents to be classified incorrectly.

The research was conducted with the purpose of providing effective safety and quality control system for assistive products for handicapped those are used extensively. Assistive products couldn't be classified independently due to collision with the act of medical device and lack in legal basis. The issues about safety and quality have been solved by other legal frames on a case by case basis. We couldn't find any abroad case of independent safety and quality control policy. For the practical solution, this article suggested hybrid classification system mixed with existing policies. Each classified branches are allocated to the appropriate policy of safety and quality control so those are ease of understanding and prospect. And also a delicacy process was suggested not to leave off any assistive products. Through these suggests of the improvement it is expected that blind areas of safety and quality control for assistive products for handicapped could be solved and identity of assistive products could be established to provide product safety for handicapped and boost relevant industries.

본 연구의 목적은 측량성과의 체계적 품질관리, 측량성과 관리업무의 효율성 향상 및 비용절감을 위하여 측량성과의 전자납품 및 품질검사의 자동화 방안을 연구하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 측량성과의 품질관리 현황 및 작업규정을 분석하고, 측량성과의 전자납품 및 품질검사 자동화를 위한 기본방안을 제시하였다. 측량 성과품의 유형을 품질검사의 자동화 측면에 구분을 해보면, 첫째, 품질검사의 자동화가 불가능한 유형, 둘째, 포맷분석과 소프트웨어 개발을 통하여 자동화된 품질 검사가 가능한 유형, 셋째, 제도적인 보완을 통하여 자동화가 가능한 성과품 유형 등 세 가지 종류로 분류가 가능하다. 이러한 측량성과품의 품질검사업무의 자동화는 크게 단기간에 미시적으로 해야 할 사안들과 중 장기에 걸쳐 거시적으로 추진해야할 사안 등 두 가지 측면의 시각으로 접근해야 하며, 업무적인 측면, 제도적인 측면 및 정보기술적인 측면에서 종합적으로 검토되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

지문 영상의 품질은 지문 인식의 성능에 큰 영향을 미친다. 그러므로 지문 영상의 품질을 명가하고 정의하는 과정이 선행되면 안정된 지문 인식 성능을 보장 받을 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 지문 영상 품질을 측정하는 알고리즘을 이용하여 정합 후 인증성공률을 높이는 것이다. 본 연구는 지문 영상의 품질을 측정하는 세가지 알고리즘을 구현하고 정량적으로 표현한 후 품질 정도에 따라 분류한 영상들을 이용하여 본인 대 본인 정합을 수행하였다. 그리고 알고리즘간의 특성을 비교하였으며 품질에 따른 정합 성능을 평가하였다. 실험 결과, 품질 평가 후의 정합 성능이 그렇지 않았을 때의 성능에 비해 5% 이상의 성능 향상을 보였다. 또한 좀 더 나은 성능 향상을 위해서는 융선의 지속성과 일관성을 판단할 수 있는 알고리즘 및 여러 품질 측정값들의 효율적인 조합의 연구가 필요하다.

번역 품질 예측은 기계번역 시스템이 생성한 번역문의 품질을 정답 번역문을 참고하지 않고 예측하는 과정으로, 번역문의 사후 교정을 위한 번역 오류 검출의 역할을 담당하는 중요한 연구이다. 본 논문은 문장 수준의 번역 품질 예측 문제를 HTER 구간의 분류 문제로 간주하여, 번역 품질 말뭉치의 HTER 분포 불균형으로 인한 성능 제약을 완화하기 위해 인조 사후 교정 말뭉치를 이용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 결과적으로 HTER 분포를 균등하게 조정한 학습 말뭉치가 그렇지 않은 쪽에 비해 번역 품질 예측에 더 효과적인 것을 보였다.

지문인식 분야는 크게 분류(classification)와 정합 (matching)으로 나누어져 연구되어왔다. 분류는 일반적으로 와상문, 궁상문, 솟은궁상문, 오른쪽제상문, 왼쪽제상문 등의 5종류로 분류되며, 지문이 어떤 분류에 속하는지 구별하여 특정인의 지문 형태를 결정하여 주는 작업으로 대형 데이터베이스에서 인덱스로 사용되어 검색시간 단축과 매칭의 정확도를 높여준다. 본 논문에서는 지문 분류에서 품질이 나쁜 이미지는 분류를 위한 특이점 (핵 과 삼각점)의 검술이 어려운 점을 감안하여 방향성과 주파수 선택력이 강한 Gabor 필터의 특징을 이용한 지문 분류 방법으로 지문 분류의 정확성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하고 실험을 통하여 이를 증명한다.
