Development for Reliability Quality and Performance Evaluate Model of Fingerprint Recognition System (지문인식시스템의 신뢰성 품질 성능 평가모델 개발)

  • Although products with the fingerprint recognition system currently show a rapid growth in quantity, it is also true that efforts to consider the product quality have been lacking until now. Accordingly, this paper analyzed technological elements with domestic and foreign market situations for products with the fingerprint recognition system to develop an evaluation model to support the quality increase by evaluating aspects of product quality for the knowledge information security, identifying the level of quality and deriving directions for improvements. A model for the reliability quality evaluation was constructed that can be applied comprehensively to non-functional elements that have not been done in the existing evaluations central to the security functions by analyzing requirements for the security, performance and reliability in consideration of features on products. It is considered that this paper can make contributions to the overall quality increase for products with the knowledge information security by reflecting features and trends for the fingerprint recognition products and building a model for the reliability and evaluation to perform evaluations by product.

The Effects of Perceived Quality toward User Performance and Corporate Performance in Production Information Systems (생산정보시스템에 대한 품질인식이 사용자 성과와 기업성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceived quality toward user performance and corporate performance in production information systems. For this purpose, a research model and hypotheses are developed based on the relevant literature reviews. Data have been collected from 132 enterprises which have implemented production information systems, and the research hypotheses were tested by covariance structural model analysis. The results of this empirical study are summarized as follows. First, production information quality and support service quality are confirmed to have a positive effect on user's satisfaction, however, I found no evidence of a statistically significant relationship between system quality and user's satisfaction. Second, all of three quality factors which are production information quality, system quality, and support service quality have positive influence on system usage. Third, user's satisfaction has positive influence on system usage, and both of user's satisfaction and system usage have positive influence on performance improvement. Based on these findings, this study suggested the implications, as well as limitations and further research directions.

  • With a surge of interest in OCR in 1990s a large number of handwriting or h handprinting databases have been built one after another around the world. One problem that researches encounter today is that all the databases differ in various ways including the script qualities. This paper proposes a method for measuring handwriting qualities that can be used for comparison of databases and objective test for character recognizers. The key idea i involved is classifying character samples into a number of groups each characterizing a set of qualities. In order to evaluate the proposed method we carried out experiments on KU-1 database. The result we achieve is meaningful and the method is helpful for the target tasks.

  • 개체명 인식은 문서에서 개체명을 추출하고 추출된 개체명의 범주를 결정하는 작업이다. 기존의 지도 학습 기법을 이용한 개체명 인식을 위해서는 개체명 범주가 수동으로 부착된 대용량의 학습 말뭉치가 필요하며, 대용량의 말뭉치 구축은 인력과 시간이 많이 들어가는 일이다. 본 논문에서는 학습 말뭉치 구축비용을 최소화하고 초기 학습 말뭉치의 노이즈를 제거하여 말뭉치의 품질을 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 반자동 개체명 사전 구축 방법으로 구축한 개체명 사전과 원거리 감독법을 사용하여 초기 개체명 범주 부착 말뭉치를 구축한다. 그리고 휴리스틱을 이용하여 초기 말뭉치의 노이즈를 제거하여 학습 말뭉치의 품질을 향상시키고 개체명 인식의 성능을 향상시킨다. 실험 결과 휴리스틱 적용을 통해 개체명 인식의 F1-점수를 67.36%에서 73.17%로 향상시켰다.

  • 도서관 품질 평가를 위한 척도로 개발된 라이브퀼 플러스(LibQUAL+)를 국내 대학도서관에 적용하여 분석을 시도하였다. 이용자 집단별(신분, 연령, 성별, 전공, 도서관 방문횟수, 도서관 홈페이지 접속 횟수) 사전 기대와 실제 인식 사이의 갭을 평가하고 그 원인을 분석하였다. 평가 후 실제 도서관 경영에 필요한 서비스 개선방안을 마련하고 이용자의 인식 향상 및 요구사항에 대처하기 위한 활동과 책무를 밝힘으로써 도서관 서비스 품질 평가를 수행하고, 그 방안을 마련하였다.

  • 본 연구는 생체지문 인식장치의 전략적 상품기획 프로세스를 통하여 표준화된 신상품 기획안을 도출하는데 있다. 이를 위해 사업전략과 목표시장을 설정한 후 1차 설문결과, 고객 요구준건을 , 2차의 설문조사 응답 결과를 바탕으로 기획품질을 결정하며, 이것의 만족도 정도를 Sales point로 삼았다. 상관 매트릭스를 이용하여 요구품질과 기술적 요소의 대응 정도를 살펴 본 후, 개발 제품 현재의 품질 특성치를 파악하기 위해 경쟁업체의 제품을 기준으로 벤치마킹 테스트를 실시하여 첫째, 세대별 상품전략 둘째, 세대별 요소기술 map. 셋째, 세대별 상품 컨셉. 넷째, 세대별 개발계획의 4개 파트의 다세대 상품기획을 수립하였다.

An Analysis of Perception Gap on the Interior Space and Foodservice Quality of Italian Restaurants between Customers and Personnel (이태리 레스토랑의 실내공간과 음식서비스 품질에 대한 고객과 종사자의 인식차이 분석)

  • The purposes of this study are to analyze the gap between foodservice personnel and customers, to urge foodservice providers to reconsider by identifying the problems in service delivery for customer satisfaction, and to deduce the recognition for foodservice quality improvement. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: the average perception score of personnel(3.78 out of 5) was higher than that of customers(3.79). In particular, the customers' perception of 16 attributes, which included 'overall lighting in the restaurant', 'creativity of the food', 'freshness of the ingredients' and so on, was significantly lower than personnel's. Both service providers and customers perceived that 'meal quality' was the highest and 'table setting' was the lowest among the 4 factors, but there was significant difference on 'interior space(p<.001)', 'meal quality (p<.01)', 'convenience(p<.01)' between the two groups. As a results of the quadrant analysis, 'Q3. dishes and bowls', 'Q6. cleanliness of the tables', 'Q12. display of the food', 'Q17. comfort of the interior space', 'Q18, room temperature', 'Q23. overall lighting in the restaurant', 'Q30. arrangement of the furniture and accessaries' were categorized into Quadrant A, all of which showed dissatisfaction of the customers due to the personnel's lower perception. Therefore, service providers have to perceive the gap between the two viewpoints and grant priority to these attributes to improve foodservice quality.

  • 본 논문에서는 인간의 시각 인지 능력(Human Visual System; HVS)을 기반으로 하는 영상 품질 측정 방법을 제안한다. 보다 구체적으로 제안하는 시각 인지 기반의 영상 품질 측정 방법은 기존의 객관적인 품질 평가 방법인 PSNR 품질 측정 방법에 1) HVS 에 기반한 foveated contrast sensitivity 을 이용하여 집중 영역으로부터 거리에 따른 인식률 저하를 반영하였으며, 이와 동시에 2) Just Noticeable Distortion(JND)을 통해 영상의 휘도 대비 차이에서 오는 인식률 차이를 반영하여 사용자가 인지하는 품질을 계산하였다. 이러한 연구 결과는 특히 대형 영상의 부호화 과정에서 양자화 및 bit allocation, 또는 기 부호화된 영상의 전송 과정에서 차등화된 오류 보호 기술 등에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

A Study on Cloud Service Quality by Using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA 기법을 적용한 클라우드 서비스 품질 분석)

  • This study sheds light on the quality aspect of cloud computing services as next IT platform. Three tasks of the research are to extract the quality factors of cloud service from the user's viewpoint, empirically analyze the perceptual differences between the user group and the provider group by applying the IPA technique, and suggest some quality factors that need to be improved. Based on the previous researches and focus group evaluation, 13 quality factors have been established. Two field surveys have been performed respectively to collect the perceptual importance and satisfaction level of the users and the providers. It is shown that the quality satisfaction of the user group is lower than the quality perceived by the providers. And there exist significant differences between two groups in respect to quality importance level and IPA matrix. In conclusion, 6 quality factors that need to be improved are suggested such as service functionality, service availability, interoperability, scalability, confidentiality, and provider's responsiveness.
