An Inventory Model-based Spectrum Pooling in Cognitive Radio Networks (인벤토리모델을 이용한 인지무선네트워크에서 스펙트럼풀링)

  • Recently, many research efforts have paid attention to spectrum pooling meshanism that provides efficient way to manage transient spectrum requests of secondary users in cognitive radio networks. Spectrum pooling is maintained by WSP (wireless service provider). WSP leases the spectrums stored in her spectrum pool to secondary users with being paid for it. It is natural that WSP tries to get profits as much as possible, which implies the WSP tries to minimize the cost required for maintaining her spectrum pool. In this paper, we model the spectrum pool into a probabilistic inventory model. Assuming secondary users' spectrum requests follow normal distribution, we give a strategic way that minimizes the maintenance cost of the spectrum pool. By a series of simulations, we show that WSP can reduce the total maintenance cost through our inventory model-based spectrum pooling than maintaining fixed inventory level.

  • The shuttle that currently connects Busan New Port to the logistics companies in the Hinterland has the following companies: first, resources are consumed redundantly as each logistics company has independent transport vehicles. Second, the companies are not taking advantage of geographical merits of clustered complexes because different vehicles are used each time due to irregular schedules. In this respect, this study had the following purposes to realize these solutions: first, heuristic approach was made for operation scheduling and real-time operating rules to configure the best possible dynamic plan. Second, the reduction of consumption of resources with the shuttle and the efficiency were examined through a simulation of pooling and dual cycling applied to logistics companies' shipping plans.

우리나라 부산항 항만하역시장 안정화 방안에 관한 연구

  • 항만간 허브항 경쟁이 극심해 지고 있는 오늘날, 컨테이너 선사는 M&A 및 전략적 제휴로 컨테이너터미널 운영사와의 가격 협상력의 우월적 지위를 갖게 되어 컨테이너터미널 운영사간 선사 및 화물유치를 경쟁을 더욱 부추기고 있다. 그러나 수요측면에서 컨테이너물동량 증가율 둔화로 컨테이너터미널에서 처리해야 할 물동량은 한정되어 있는 반면, 공급 측면에서 항만터미널의 지속적인 건설은 항만간 또는 터미널간 물량 유치경쟁을 과열시키고 있다. 특히 부산항은 신항 개장이후 북항과 신항간 물동량 유치경쟁으로 인하여 항만하역시장의 교란을 가져오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 부산항 컨테이너 항만하역시장의 구조적 특성분석과 설문조사 방법론을 통하여 향후 부산항 항만하역시장의 안정화 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 시장구조 분석결과 부산항은 한정된 처리물량과 신항의 개장으로 인한 공급과잉, 그리고 정부의 지역항만개발정책에 따른 컨테이너화물의 분산처리로 지속적인 부산항의 비중 감소로 선석당 처리물량이 감소하고 있다. 이에 따라 선사의 우월적 지위를 이용한 하역료 인하요구로 터미널운영사간에 서비스경쟁이 아닌 비협력적인 가격경쟁으로 재정수지가 악화되고 있고, 또한 '10년 외국적선사의 처리물량이 60%를 차지하고 있어 국부유출이 심각한 실정이다. 따라서 하역시장 안정화 방안으로 항만시설 수요 및 공급의 불균형을 조정하기 위하여 항만풀링공동기금관리를 통한 재정수지를 확보할 수 있는 항만풀링제도를 제안하며, 이 제도의 운영을 위하여 한시적으로 컨테이너터미널 운영사별 처리물량 상한제를 도입하는 것이 바람직하다고 판단된다.

Comparative evaluation of the effects of oil pulling on periodontal indices - Using generalized estimating equation model (오일 풀링 중재에 따른 치주질환 임상 지표 비교 -일반화추정 방정식 모형의 적용)

  • Objectives: This study was to analyz the effects of comparative evaluation of the effects of oil pulling on periodontal indices. Methods: A total subjects were 38; control group (19 subjects) and experimental group (19 subjects). In the experimental group, coconut oil was provided and rinsed the mouth for about 10 minutes once a day. We evaluated possession rate of pocket depth (≥4 mm), possession rate of bleeding on exploring and possession rate of gingival recession (≥1 mm). Results: The possession rate of pocket depth (≥4 mm), bleeding on exploring and gingival recession (≥1 mm) significant difference in interaction between the group and measurement time. Conclusions: The findings of this study indicate that dental hygiene process and oil pulling specialists in care of periodontal diseases were effective mediation.

A Study on the Application of Transfer Equipment Pooling Systems for Enhancing Productivity at Container Terminals (컨테이너터미널에서 생산성 향상을 위한 이송장비 풀링시스템 적용방안에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the increase of container terminals, as the volume of terminals become distributed, the competition of preserving existing volume and inviting new volume are becoming fierce, and various ways for processing terminal volume and inviting volume are being sought. Container terminal efforts to maximize efficiency in order to improve the volume handling capability and productivity by both expansion of the latest equipment and development of the latest terminal system. There are a variety of factors that influence the improvement of productivity at container terminals. Among them, in the case of yard transfer equipment, if it were to convert from the method of a Yard Tractor(YT) being fixed allocated to a certain Gantry Cranes(GC) to a Pooling System that processes in a method that properly distributes and allocates a Yard Tractor(YT) to multiple Gantry Cranes(GC), the terminal productivity and the fusibility of YT may be increased. The KPI which is an indicator for the productivity at container terminals is GC productivity and since GC productivity cannot exceed the speed of physical GC operations, a Pooling System is applied to increase productivity which its meaning and effect is massive. Here in the Report, we produce the Pooling Algorithm system to improve the efficiency of the transported equipments in container terminal which is actually applying for this method and have compared Non pooling system with Pooling system in the fields. By introducing a transfer equipment pooling system and enhancing the productivity compared to other terminals, it may become an essential factor for increasing the continuous service quality and profitability in terms of terminal business.

  • 인터넷과 무선 이동통신 등이 보편화되면서 두 기술을 접목한 WAP (Wireless Application Protocol)[1]이 등장하였으며, 다수의 사용자 요구를 동시에 효율적으로 처리하면서 다양한 무선 단말기로부터 요청을 신속하게 처리할 수 있는 WAP 게이트웨이(gateway)에 대한 연구가 여러 연구 그룹에서 수행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Java의 기본적인 서비스인 멀티쓰레드를 이용하고, 컨테이너 유효 리소스의 효율적 관리를 위해 접속 풀링(connection pooling) 기능과 우선순위 큐를 적용하여 WTP (Wireless Transaction Protocol)[2]를 구현한다. 우선순위에 입각하여 구현된 트랜잭션 서비스를 시뮬레이션을 통하여 성능을 분석한다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 컨테이너터미널에서 이송장비를 이용한 GC생산성을 극대화하기 위해서 GC가 대기하는 일이 업도록 이송장비의 운반 작업이 원활히 이루어져야 하고, 수동 컨테이너 터미널의 Non Pooling System과 자동 컨테이너터미널에서 Pooing System의 이송장비 할당 알고리즘을 제시하고 실제로 적용하여 컨테이너터미널 생산성 향상의 차이를 비교 분석 제시한다.

Binary CNN Operation Algorithm using Bit-plane Image (비트평면 영상을 이용한 이진 CNN 연산 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose an algorithm to perform convolution, pooling, and ReLU operations in CNN using binary image and binary kernel. It decomposes 256 gray-scale images into 8 bit planes and uses a binary kernel consisting of -1 and 1. The convolution operation of binary image and binary kernel is performed by addition and subtraction. Logically, it is a binary operation algorithm using the XNOR and comparator. ReLU and pooling operations are performed by using XNOR and OR logic operations, respectively. Through the experiments to verify the usefulness of the proposed algorithm, We confirm that the CNN operation can be performed by converting it to binary logic operation. It is an algorithm that can implement deep running even in a system with weak computing power. It can be applied to a variety of embedded systems such as smart phones, intelligent CCTV, IoT system, and autonomous car.

Design and Implementation of Real Time Locating System for Efficient Vehicle Pooling in Port Terminal (항만 터미널 내 차량의 효율적 풀링을 위한 실시간 위치 측정 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • In a port terminal, containers are stored and transshipped by yard tractors and crane vehicles. For operation efficiency of the terminal, location information of these vehicles is an essential factor. However, most of port terminals try to estimate location of these assets using indirect methods such as event tracking of shipping or unshipping containers. Because these kinds of events are rarely occurred, location of the event includes seriously locating error compared to a real location of vehicle. In this paper, we propose a real-time asset tracking system to obtain accurate and reliable location of terminal assets. The proposed system overcomes a location estimation error caused by container stacks which interrupt wireless communication. In order to mitigate uncertainty and increase accuracy of location estimation, we designed hardwares and multi-step locating system to resolve additional preblems. We implemented system components, and installed these at a port environment for evaluation. The result shows superiority of the system that the accuracy is approximately 5.87 meters (CEP).
