Simplified Evaluation Method for Residual Bond Strength of Reinforced Concrete Using Standard Fire Curve (표준화재곡선을 이용한 잔존부착강도 평가 간략방법 제안)

  • For the enhancement of structural safety of thermally damaged reinforced concrete structure, rapid evaluation of damage in the structure is very important. This study addresses a simplified method which is equivalent to the standard fire curve (ISO 834) for the residual bond strength evaluation. In the proposed method, a exposure duration as well as the maximum temperature can be considered. For the comparisons with conventional methods, concrete properties obtained from the report of Daegu subway fire accident were referred and the results support the applicability of the proposed method in this study.

  • A variety of research projects have been undertaken due to the recent catastrophic tunnel fires throughout the world, Among them, more emphasis was given to full scale and scale model fire experiments, and recently the area of fire resistance of tunnel structures attract more interests, On the contrary to the cases in most of the advanced countries where design standards as well as recommendations have already been announced, no local criteria for design can be found, This paper aims at deriving the fire characteristics appropriate for the assessment criteria of fire resistance of structures in local tunnels through studying the existing fire temperature curves including ISO 834 standard temperature curve, HC curve, RWS curve, ZTV curve and EBA curve.

  • This study was conducted by utilizing simulation (FDS6) the fire characteristics of the flammable substances such as cable compartment of a small space in the EPS room type. In the partitioned space of a room EPS supply of oxygen does not facilitate the combustion of the upward-sloping curve, as in a standard fire curve is not observed. Simulation results in a situation where ventilation is limited to the heat release rate and smoke emission characteristics of the fire showed a complex and unstable form a repeating rise and fall. Fire time was longer than the fire load. Change in the smoke emission than the heat release rate is slow, but changes of the overall surface was found to exhibit affinity.

  • This paper aims to experimentally investigate the in-fire performance of composite beams with respect to the effects of load ratio and shear interaction. Under a Standard ISO834 fire, the development of temperature and deflection of simply supported composite beams were recorded. In particular, the transition of temperature distribution across the cross-section. The fire resistance of composite beam was interpreted regarding the level of shear interaction.

  • 건축 구조물의 내화성을 판단하기 위한 가장 보편적인 방법은 가열로에서 규정된 표준가열곡선에 따라 시험하는 것이다. 이러한 방법은 건축 구조물의 내화성을 빠르고 쉽게 판단하기에는 적합하나 지식의 발전과 함께 증가하는 성능기반설계법에 대해 합리적인 근거를 제시하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 실제 화재에서 발생할 수 있는 국부화재에 대한 강재 기둥의 거동에 대해 평가하고 그에 대한 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다.

  • The study presents a standard time-temperature curve to evaluate the fire performance of subway tunnel structures. The central subway section is 135km long in Korea, the fourth longest in the world. The number of subway tunnels has been increasing rapidly and fire risk is proportional to the tunnel length. However, an adequate time-temperature curve for subway tunnel fires does not exist. Therefore, we studied a proposed foreign fire design model for which the heat rate is based on the traffic, and we present an appropriate time-temperature curve for Korean subway tunnels. The ISO 834 curve was used as a fire design model and the temperature distribution in the tunnel was estimated using numerical analysis. This led to a proposal for effective measures against subway tunnel fires.

  • 건축물의 적재가연물 특성은 성능위주 화재안전설계를 수행함에 있어 중요한 인자이다. 본 연구에서는 서점의 성능위주 화재안전설계에 이용할 목적으로 적재가연물을 대상으로 연소발열성상을 측정하기 위한 화재실험을 행하였다. 실험에서는 서적과 서가의 일부분을 재현한 시험체를 내화로에 넣고 ISO834 표준가열곡선에 따라 가열하여 화재 최성기에서의 연소성상을 파악하였다. 그 결과, 서적은 외부 가열을 받으면 표면연소 후에 탄화하여 주위에 고온이 형성되어도 열분해가스의 방출량이 증가하지 않는 것으로 파악되었다.

  • 실제 규모 ISO 9705 표준 화재실에서 액체연료를 대상으로 연소효율 개념에 관한 실험적 연구가 수행되었다. 특히 구획 외부에서 측정되는 총괄연소효율과 구획 내부의 고온 상층부에서 측정된 국부연소효율 개념을 비교 검토하였다. 주요 결과로서, 총괄연소효율은 총괄당량비 증가에 따라 비교적 선형적인 감소경향을 보였다. 반면에 국부연소효율은 총괄당량비가 증가함에 따라 2차 곡선의 형태로 크게 감소됨을 확인하였다. 위 결과를 통해 국부연소 효율에 대한 정보는 구획 내부의 화재현상을 이해하는데 유용한 변수임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 국부연소효율은 구획화재의 상사과정에서 중요한 변수로 사용될 수 있음을 논의하였다.
