  • Recent developments in the use of drones on battlefields, extending beyond reconnaissance to firepower support, have greatly increased the importance of technologies for early automatic drone identification. In this study, to identify an effective image classification model that can distinguish drones from other aerial targets of similar size and appearance, such as birds and balloons, we utilized a dataset of 3,600 images collected from the internet. We adopted a transfer learning approach that combines the feature extraction capabilities of three pre-trained convolutional neural network models (VGG16, ResNet50, InceptionV3) with an additional classifier. Specifically, we conducted a comparative analysis of the performance of these three pre-trained models to determine the most effective one. The results showed that the InceptionV3 model achieved the highest accuracy at 99.66%. This research represents a new endeavor in utilizing existing convolutional neural network models and transfer learning for drone identification, which is expected to make a significant contribution to the advancement of drone identification technologies.

  • The effects of linoleic acid(LA, 18 : 2) and/or bovine serum albumin(BSA) on the lipid metabolism in human hepatoma cell line HepG2 cells were evaluated. HepG2 cells were cultured in basal Dulbecco's modified Eagle's(DME) medium(Basal medium), DME medium containing 0.2 mM LA(LA medium), or DME medium containing both 0.2 mM LA and 0.2-1.0% BSA(LA+BSA medium). $[^{14}C]Acetate(0.3\;{\mu}Ci/ml\;medium)$ was added as a radioactive lipid precursor and the cells were incubated for 6 hours. An addition of LA to basal medium resulted in a decrease in the incorporation of $[^{14}C]acetate$ into total cholesterol fraction. In contrast, an addition of BSA to LA-containing medium tended to increase the incorporation of $[^{14}C]acetate$ into total cholesterol. The alteration of cholesterol metabolism in HepG2 cells incubated in LA+BSA medium was attributed by an increase in the incorporation of $[^{14}C]acetate$ into free cholesterol, but not cholesteryl ester fraction. In addition, the secretion of cholesterol was increased by LA+BSA medium, suggesting that BSA stimulates cholesterol secretion. No significant change in the incorporation of $[^{14}C]acetate$ into cellular total lipids was observed among the experimental groups. However, an increased incorporation of $[^{14}C]-labelled$ fatty acid into cellular triacylglycerol and decreased incorporation into phospholipid were observed in cells incubated with LA+BSA medium as compared to those of LA medium. The secretions of $[^{14}C]-labelled$ triacylglycerol, phospholipid, and free fatty acid were also stimulated in HepG2 cells incubated with LA+BSA medium. In conclusion, the present study suggests that in human hepatocytes, LA and BSA influence lipid metabolism, and BSA enhances the secretion of lipids.

  • Line may receiver contains an ambiguity on conjugate bearings, because of lacking aperture in transverse direction. To solve the left/right bearing ambiguity of line-array receiver we used line-array with cardioid beam. In addition, the synthetic aperture method adopts coherent processing of sub-aperture signals at successive time intervals in the beam domain. We presented performances about division of left/right bearing ambiguity according to array synthetic number of times in this paper.

  • This paper describes some major schemes for developing timing signal generator which can be used for testing of 3D radars. The developed generator has a function not only to simulate information on elevation angle for the simulated target signals but also to generate a modulated signal up to 80MHz. Because this generator has an internal modulating function instead of an external modulating function and has sufficient memory enough to change the parameters according to operating programs, it realization of various test-environments for testing a radar can be made with easy and with low expense.

Vit. D가 담즙을 통해서 우선적으로 배설되고 소량이 뇨를 통해 배설되는데 metabolite들의 배설경로는 더욱 규명되어야 할 과제이다.

  • Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) images can be generated by radar which radiates the electromagnetic wave to a target and receives signal reflected from the target. ISAR images can be widely used to target detection and recognition. This paper proposed a method of generation of high resolution ISAR images by synthesizing frequency spectrums of each stepped chirp waveform in one burst and sub-sampling in frequency domain. This process is performed over entire bursts during coherent processing interval. Conventional ISAR image generation method using stepped frequency waveform has a severe problem of short unambiguous range, loading to ghost phenomenon. However, this problem can be resolved by the proposed method. In simulations, we generate high resolution ISAR image of the moving target which is Boeing-737 aircraft model composed of several ideal point scatterers.

  • Synthetic Aperture Sonar is a technique of extending Physically limited length of an array by signal processing to enhance bearing resolution of a system. The previous techniques estimate most or away shapes as linear. so when towed array shapes are distorted. this can create a deviation from actual situation. In this paper. we estimated perturbed away shapes. and compensated distortion by using estimated array shapes and synthesized arrays in aperture domain. As experimental data, we used the one obtained from towed array in neighboring waters of the Korean peninsula. We extended array by compensating differences in time and spatial position between overlapped subarrays by using SAS techniques. In simulation results. we confirmed that the bearing resolution was enhanced.

  • An air-to-ground guidance missile aimed to hit a main battle tank(MBT) should detect a ground moving target and estimate the target position to guide. In this paper, we detect a front ground moving target by using FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) and estimate the position by forward-looking SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) via scanning certain front ground section by steering a beam with narrow beamwidth left to right mechanically. Also, by MLE(Maximum Likelihood Estimation), degree of how fast the target approach or recede from the radar can be figured out from the estimated radial velocity of the moving target. Subsequently, we generate a radar image via corrected matched filter from phase history including the radial velocity.

  • The importance of active sonar systems is emerging due to the quietness of underwater targets and the increase in ambient noise due to the increase in maritime traffic. However, the low signal-to-noise ratio of the echo signal due to multipath propagation of the signal, various clutter, ambient noise and reverberation makes it difficult to identify underwater targets using active sonar. Attempts have been made to apply data-based methods such as machine learning or deep learning to improve the performance of underwater target recognition systems, but it is difficult to collect enough data for training due to the nature of sonar datasets. Methods based on mathematical modeling have been mainly used to compensate for insufficient active sonar data. However, methodologies based on mathematical modeling have limitations in accurately simulating complex underwater phenomena. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a sonar signal synthesis method based on a deep neural network. In order to apply the neural network model to the field of sonar signal synthesis, the proposed method appropriately corrects the attention-based encoder and decoder to the sonar signal, which is the main module of the Tacotron model mainly used in the field of speech synthesis. It is possible to synthesize a signal more similar to the actual signal by training the proposed model using the dataset collected by arranging a simulated target in an actual marine environment. In order to verify the performance of the proposed method, Perceptual evaluation of audio quality test was conducted and within score difference -2.3 was shown compared to actual signal in a total of four different environments. These results prove that the active sonar signal generated by the proposed method approximates the actual signal.

  • A Stepped Frequency Radar(SFR) is a method that realizes high resolution range estimation by increasing the frequency of transmission pulses at regular intervals to generate a wide synthetic bandwidth. However, in the case of a moving target, accurate range estimation becomes difficult due to the range-Doppler coupling. In this paper, the process of high resolution range estimation by compensation of the range-Doppler coupling with estimated velocity of the moving target using the SFR waveform with Coherent Pulse Train(CPT) is analyzed and it was verified through simulation.
