  • 환경부는 지난 8월 18일 코로나19 영향으로 회수·재활용의무 이행 실태가 급격히 악화된 종이팩, PET 단일무색 등의 품목에 대한 재활용의무율을 조정하기 위해 '2020년도 제품·포장재별 재활용의무율(환경부고시, 제2019-266호, 2020. 1. 1)'을 일부개정하는 행정예고를 발표했다. 다음에 상세한 내용을 살펴보도록 한다.

Development of an Automatic Wrapping System for Long Type Fruit-Vegetable (장방형 과채류 자동 랩핑기 개발)

  • A wrapped fruit-vegetable can restrain from evaporating its water, help to be supplied with a little fresh air, prevent from injuring and damaging during transporting to other positions. Therefore, this study was carried out to develop an automatic wrapping system specifically tailored to pack up from one to four numbers of long type fruit-vegetable in wrap foil. Performance tests of the system were conducted by using three different kinds of fruit-vegetable (cucumber, eggplant, Pumpkin) to determine the success wrapping rate. Each fruit-vegetable is divided into two grades such as A grade and B grade. B grade is more bended curve than A grade. The success wrapping rate of eggplant was 100% regardless of the grade and the number of fruit-vegetable. and also that of cucumber was 100% all but packing 4 numbers of B grade. However, that of pumpkin was 45%, As the number and the bended degree of pumpkin was increased, the success wrapping rate of pumpkin was decreased, because the surface area or the bended degree were increased.

  • 포장재별로 처리한 콩나물의 저장 중 품질변화를 살펴보았다. 중량 감소율은 OPP필름에 비해 PLA 필름이 더 높은 것으로 나타났으나 0.025% 이하의 감소율로 큰 차이를 보이진 않았다. 수분함량의 경우 P3 포장구가 다른 처리구 보다 가장 적은 감소율을 보였으며, 총균수 변화에서는 P2, P3 포장구가 가장 적은 증가율을 나타내었으며, 외관상태에서 OPP 포장구는 봉투 개봉시 모든 포장구에서 부패취가 발생하였다. 비타민C 함량 변화는 PLA2 포장구가 변화율이 적었으며, PLA3 필름구가 그 다음으로 나타났으며, 기호도 조사에서는 PLA2 포장구가 모든 항목에서 높은 점수를 나타냈다. 결과적으로 OPP 포장구 보다는 PLA 포장구의 변화가 적었음을 알 수 있었으며, 그 중PLA2와 PLA3 필름이 콩나물 저장에 가장 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구는 국내 유통쌀의 포장재로 널리 이용되고 있는 지대포장재와 합성수지계열의 PE 및 AL 포장재의 저장기간에 따른 품질특성을 구명하고, 포장재의 투습도 5~700g/$m^2$범위의 4수준에 대하여 함수율, 중량 및 지방산가의 변화를 측정하여 포장재의 적정 투습도를 결정하는데 목적이 있다. 지대, PE 및 AL포장재의 저장 4주 후의 중량은 7.8, 0.1 및 1.5%감소하였으며, 함수율은 지대포장의 경우 3.7%(w.b.)감소하였다. 지방산가는 저장 4주 후에 지대포장은 9.4, PE포장재는 42.0, AL포장재는 16.8(mg KOH/100g)로 나타났다. 저장온도 20 및 3$0^{\circ}C$에서의 포장재 투습도에 따른 중량, 함수율 및 지방산가의 변화를 고려했을 때 130~210g/$m^2$이 적정한 것으로 나타났다.

Absorption and Strength Properties of Landscape Paving Concrete According to Zeolite Coarse Aggregate Replacement Rate (제올라이트 굵은골재 대체율에 따른 조경포장 콘크리트의 흡수 및 강도 특성)

  • This study assessed the use of zeolite with high absorption performance in landscape paving concrete as a substitute for aggregate. The absorption performance and strength properties of paving concrete were investigated according to the replacement rate of the zeolite coarse aggregate, and the mechanical properties were investigated through strength tests. The absorption rate of the zeolite aggregate was 14%, which is 2.5 times higher than that of general aggregate. When zeolite coarse aggregate is applied to paving concrete, the absorption rate increases according to the replacement rate. The absorption rate was 5.2% at a replacement rate of 50%, which was 42% higher than that of general paving concrete. The compressive strength increased to 20% of the replacement rate and decreased at a higher replacement, but all the strengths in the construction standard code were satisfied. The flexural strength satisfied the code up to a replacement rate of 10%, but the strength decreased with increasing replacement rate, and the splitting tensile strength was greater than that of paving concrete using general aggregate up to a 20% replacement rate. Overall, zeolite coarse aggregate can be applied as a substitute.

Changes in Quality Characteristics of Cherry Tomato Packaged with Different Films (포장 조건에 따른 방울토마토의 저장 중 품질 특성 변화)

  • Cherry tomato was packed with several plastic films, and investigated the quality characteristics such as gas composition, weight loss, microbial load, soluble solid content, total acidity during storage at 12$\^{C}$. Cast polypropylene(CPP), low density polyethylene(LDPE), polyolefin(MPD, PD961) and perforated polyolefin(PY85) were used as packaging film. Oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration inside packages generally showed a stabilized levels after 10 days, but those of CPP and PD961 changed throughout the storage. Weight loss of PY85 was 25.6 % after 20 days, while others maintained around 1.0%. Total microbial count showed a increase pattern similar to yeast and mold, and CPP maintained the highest microbial load after 10 days. MPD retarded the decay of cherry tomato to 5.3%, while others showed above 20% after 20 days.

Freshness of Soybean Sprout Packed with PLA Films (저탄소 친환경 PLA 필름으로 포장한 콩나물의 신선도)

  • Soybean sprouts of 100 g were packed with commercial OPP/PE films and developed PLA films, and stored at $10^{\circ}C$ for 6 days. Effects of packaging film were investigated. The weight loss of OPP/PE film was higher than that of the PLA film. Total cell count of PLA2 and PLA3 packages was the lowest among 5 packages. Off-flavor was strong at OPP/PE, but that in PLA2 was very little. Vitamin C content of PLA2 was highest and preference test of PLA2 was also highest among 5 packages. Finally, the PLA packages for soybean sprouts was more suitable than OPP/PE.

Freshness of Paprika Packed with PLA Films (개발 PLA 필름으로 포장한 파프리카의 신선도)

  • This research was conducted to compare the quality of paprika ($Capsicum$ $annuum$ L.) packed with PLA film and OPP/PE film pouches during storage at $6^{\circ}C$. Weight loss of paprika fruit was higher in OPP/PE film pouches, mold decay was shown in OPP/PE pouches after 6 days, but was not yet shown in PLA pouches. Hardness decreased in all packages. Soluble solid content was highest in PLA1 film pouch, vitamin C content was also highest in PLA2. Mold decay was not shown in PLA pouches after 9 day, but shown at calyx of paprika fruit in OPP/PE pouches. Off-flavor was strong in the OPP/PE pouches when the pouches were opened, decay was also serious in the same pouches after 15 days and thus quality was inadequate for sale in market.

Effect of Filling Ratio on the Quality Changes of Packaged Kimchi (충진율에 따른 포장 김치의 품질 변화)

  • Kimchi packed in PP tray was stored at $10^{\circ}C$ to investigate the effect of filling ratio on the quality changes. The quality of Kimchi studied were gas composition in the package, pH, titratable acidity, color, growth of lactic acid bacteria and sensory properties. As the filling ratio increased, there was more $O_{2}$ consumption and $CO_{2}$ evolution measured. Titratable acidity and pH were not significantly affected by the filling ratio. Color change of crushed Kimchi juice was also little affected by the filling ratio. During the storage, L and b values were decreased exponentially, but a value s remained constant. The growth of lactic acid bacteria and sensory scores showed no significant difference according to the filling ratio. Therefore, the filling ratio in packaging of Kimchi seemed to have little influence on the quality changes of Kimchi.
