Change in Sterol Compositions of Sesame Seed during Storage (저장중 참깨의 스테롤 조성변화)

  • The major sterol in the unsaponifiable matter (15.9 mg per gram on basis) of the sesame oil was 4-desmethylsterol (55.6%). 4-desmethylsterol consists of sitosterol (29.5%), campesterol (9.8%), ${\Delta}^5$-avenasterol (6.6%) and stigmasterol (5.9%). Between the packing bags kept the sesame seeds in, namly, the cotton and polyethylene bag, the campesterol content of sesame stored in the cotton bag was not nearly changed, whereas stored in the polyethylene bag was increased upto 4 months storage and then decreased until 15 months. The sitosterol content of sesame stored in cotton bag was increased upto 4 months and then decreased sharply until 15 months of storage, whereas stored in the polyethlene bag was not changed upto 4 months and slightly increased upto 9 months and again decreased until 15 months. Between the storage conditions, namly, light and dark storage, the stigmasterol content of the sesame stored under light condition was hardly changed upto 9 months and slightly increased after that, whereas stored under dark condition was increased upto 4 months, decreased upto 9 months and again slightly increased after that. ${\Delta}^5$-avenasterol was not much changed in all the storage conditions.

Development of Reconfigurable Tactical Operation Display Framework by Battery and Battalion (포대/대대 별 재구성 가능한 전술작전화면 프레임워크 개발)

  • The tactical operation centers of future anti-aircraft missile systems provide the environment for the research on future air threats, tactical information, integrated battlefield environment creation and management, engagement control and command and control algorithms. To develop the key functional elements of integrated battlefield situation creation and processing and tactical operation automation processing operations, battery/battalion tactical operation control and reconfiguration design software are required. Therefore, the algorithm software of each function and the tactical operation display software and link software for interworking between equipment were developed as reconfigurable through a data-centric design. In this paper, a tactical operation display framework that can be reconfigured on the operation display of the tactical operations according to the battery/battalion is introduced. This tactical operation display framework was used to develop a common data model design for the reconfigurable structure of multi-role tactical operations with battery / battalion and mission views, and a display configuration tool that provides a tactical operation display framework for view development was also developed using the MVC pattern. If the tactical operation display framework is used, it will be possible to reuse the view design through the common base structure, and a view that can be reconfigured easily and quickly will also be developed.

A Study on the Manure Management and Effectively Utilization (가축배설물 처리.이용 평가 및 효율적 활용방안)

  • A survey questionnaire that addressed the issues to manure compost producers and users was prepared. The questionnaire addressed three main topics as follows: 1) types of manure treatment and composting facilities are being operated, 2) quantity of manure compost produced and used, 3) problems experienced in producing and using manure compost. A total of 30 manure compost producers and 10 manure compost users were interviewed. Solid manure are applied to composting. Slurry and wastewater are simplified aeration method to produce liquid fertilizer. The open elongated type manure composting are generally used on manure compost centers jointly used by several farms. The amount of annually manure compost production was most common in the range of $5{\sim}10$ thousand tons per manure compost center. The manure compost utilization and cucumber yield were mostly $6{\sim}15$ tons and $20{\sim}27$ tons per 10a of cucumber farmland, respectively. Environmentally friendly use both of manure compost and chemical fertilizer are recommended for natural recycling agriculture.

  • 연약지반에 있어서 생석회를 사용한 토질 안정처리 공법중 Pack-Lime 공법에 대하여 기술코자 한다. 본 공법은 생석회를 분말 그대로 투입함으로서 Casing 내의 물과 생석회와의 급격한 수화작용으로 투입과정에서 분말의 비산과 소정양의 투입이 불확실한 흡점을 보강하기 위하여 특수 포장지인 흡수성 포대에 생석회를 넣어 Unit로 만들어 Casing내에 투입하여 연속된 생석회 말뚝을 축조하는 공법이다.

Modeling, Simulation and Development of an Automatic Vacuum Packer for Rice Using Functional Virtual Prototyping (기능적 가상 시작기 기술을 이용한 자동 벨 진공포장기의 모델링, 시뮬레이션 및 개발)

  • 본 연구의 주요 목적은 자동 쌀 진공포장기의 3차원 기능적 가상시작기 모델을 개발하여 포장기의 구동시스템을 설계하고 개발하고자 하였다. 개발한 3차원 가상시작기는 주로 압축판부, 테이프부착부 및 진동판부로 구성되었다. 가상시작기의 민감도 분석을 수행하기 위해 제품포대의 두께변수를 이용하여 3차원 가상시작기를 파라미터화하였다 자동 진공포장기의 최대 처리능력 6포/분, 포대규격: 45cm${\times}$35cm을 충족하기 위해 각 주요부를 구동하는 모터 작동제어로직(motion control function)을 적절하게 설계하였다. 설계한 작동제어로직에 의하여 각 모터를 구동할 때 필요로 하는 적정 동력은 각각 100W, 25W 및 90W로 결정하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 자동 진공포장기의 실제 시작기를 제조한 후 설계한 작동제어로직을 각 구동모터에 적용하여 시뮬레이션의 결과를 검증하였다. 개발한 3차원 가상시작기 모델을 시뮬레이션하여 선정한 모터들은 각 주요부를 원활하게 구동할 수 있었다. 제안한 작동제어로직은 주요부의 요구된 작동 시권스를 만족시켰으며 이때 자동진공포장기의 처리능력은 6.7 포/분이었다. 개발한 자동 쌀 진공포장기의 포장성공률은 92.6%이었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 데이터 기반 정보 고도화를 통해, 사격전술지휘 의사결정체계의 Assisted Decision-Maker인 AI 부전포대장을 구현하는 방법론을 제시한다. 전포대장은 지휘결심의 말단에 있는 지휘관으로서, 최종적인 의사결정자이다. 이들의 지휘결심이 보다 견고하고 신속하게 이루어지도록 하는 것이 전쟁 승패에 매우 중요한 요소이다. 화력체계를 언급하는 경우 JMEM 탄약효과가 자주 언급되고 한국형 구축 사업이 아직 진행 중이기도 하지만, 완료되더라도 임의의 지형과 전술상황 각각에 대한 유용성까지를 입증하는 데에는 또 다른 기간과 노력이 요구된다. 본고에서는 AI 플랫폼 구축의 실제 사례가 전무한 상황에서 AI 부전포대장 구축을 위해 필요한 연구의 범위와 그 대상을 살펴보고, 지능형 사격지휘체계의 구축 방안을 제안한다.

Radiological Safety Assessment for KAERI Incineration Plant on the Basis of Trial Burn Results (시험소각결과에 기준한 한국원자력연구소 소각시설의 방사학적 안전성 평가)

  • Radiological safety for the conventional operation of Demonstration-Scale Incineration Plant (DSIP) was assessed on the basis of the results of trial burns using the simulated and real radioactive wastes. Radiation dose assessments for routine releases on an annual basis as well a several severe accidental releases on a short-term basis (2h) revealed that there would be no significant environmental impact when low-level waste Is incinerated in DSIP. For semivolatile radioactive cesium species, expected emission concentrations slightly exceeded 10% of maximum permissible concentration. Removal characteristics of the bag filter for condensed-phase cesium species was investigated by the trial burns of simulated waste with inactive cesium tracer. In the off-gas before passing through bag filter, distributions of condensed cesium species in the transition size ranging between the diffusional and inertial region are less than 5%. The overall collection efficiency of the bag filter for cesium species was higher than 99.9%, showing enough decontamination capability as a primary filter for the low-temperature dry off-gas system in radwaste incineration plant.
