In this paper, we investigate the relationship between a company's Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio strength and its success in obtaining venture funding in the Korean digital media & entertainment industry. Using data from 685 Korean digital media & entertainment companies registered in Crunchbase, a global database provider of venture funding information, we found that a strong IP portfolio is positively associated with funding success. Furthermore, our study revealed that the effect of IP portfolio strength on funding success is stronger for younger companies, suggesting that IP portfolio is more critical for firms that have less reputation and track record.

This paper investigates the determinants of port service quality from a resources-based approach. The research model is derived from the relevant literature in port management, service quality, and resource-based theory. It is hypothesized that tangible and intangible resources contribute to port service quality, which in turn leads to the enhancement of reputation and loyalty to ports. To test this, a questionnaire survey is undertaken on three major ports in Korea: Busan, Incheon, and Gwangyang; the collected data are then analyzed using partial least squares. It is suggested that both tangible resources and intangible resources have a positive influence on general service quality and that general service quality has a positive influence on customer satisfaction, thus improving port reputation and loyalty. The contribution to the literature is that resource-based theory is applied to a port service quality model and the model is verified. In addition, an augmented model is adopted to examine the effect of individual resources on service quality. It is also possible for port managers to use the constructs to monitor their resources and develop more specific strategies to gain reputation and loyalty from customers.

Earthwork in the construction field is a core process of construction, and it is used in almost all processes and is connected to the safety of the structure directly. Therefore, it is essential to analyze and confirm the road tamping through a plate bearing test and a field density test. The current analog measurement methods for road tamping measurement is difficult to check in real-time, accurate location information, time information, and the history management of workers in the field. Therefore, IoT (Internet of Things)-based DCPT (Dynamic Cone Penetration Test) was developed for a smart construction environment with a solution to the problem. The Smart DCPT system operated in a smartphone environment is IoT-based. The Smart DCPT system can apply various applications and has advantages of flexibility, low cost, and high efficiency. The IoT-based DCPT records the digital road tamping information, location information, time information, and worker information per measurement count. In addition, the various information is transmitted in real-time to the management center through a smartphone. This system is expected to contribute to the management of the construction process.

This research analyzed which average comparisons and differences between groups' view motive and selection for information sources, product properties with theater animation spectator. Based on view frequency, each of groups' organization were classified to heavy, occasional, and thinly viewers. As average comparison analysis result, firstly, view motive appeared in order to "want to see animation", "to spend time and leisure activity", "to enjoy fun activity", and "because of others canvassing or recommendation", etc. Secondly, view selection for information source appeared in order to "rumor circumstance or reputation", "theater or TV previews", "internet evaluation and grade", etc. At last, view selection for practical property appeared in order to "story", "character", "special effects", "background music", "background art", "director/directing", "manufacturer/nation", and "dubbing of artist". As difference between group result, view motive and selection for product properties appeared significant differences between each of group. To the contrary, view selection for information sources did not appeared significant differences between each of group.

The cloud computing paradigm introduced pay-per-use models in which IT services can be created and scaled on-demand. However, service providers are still concerned about the constraints imposed by their physical infrastructures. In order to keep the required QoS and achieve the goal of upholding the SLA, virtualized resources must be efficiently consolidated to maximize system throughput while keeping energy consumption at a minimum. Using ANN, we propose a predictive SLA-aware approach for consolidating virtualized resources in a cloud environment. To maintain the QoS and to establish an optimal trade-off between performance and energy efficiency, the server's utilization threshold dynamically adapts to the physical machine's resource consumption. Furthermore, resource-intensive VMs are prevented from getting underprovisioned by assigning them to hosts that are both capable and reputable. To verify the performance of our proposed approach, we compare it with non-optimized conventional approaches as well as with other previously proposed techniques in a heterogeneous cloud environment setup.

We constructed a population of myelinated cells with co-culture of neuronal cells and Schwann cells from DRG. Schwann cells and neuronal cells were isolated from dorsal root ganglion (DRG) in embryos of rat in vitro respectively. The cultured Schwann cells and cultured neuronal cells, respectively were co-cultured in a same plate. This procedure contains following four steps: first step of suspension of the embryonic dorsal root ganglion cells, second step of addition of anti-mitoticcocktail, third step of purification of dorsal root cells, and fourth step of addition of Schwann cells to dorsal root ganglion cells. These cells were performed accomplishment of myelination. This myelinated co-culture system was infected by Semliki forest virus and then induced demyelination processing in this myelinated co-culture. We identified myelination and demyelination processing using antibody of peripheral myelin protein 22 (PMP 22) meaning presence of myelinated neuron.

This paper discussed the status of a social enterprise that is being actively pursued in recent years. In addition, the study looked at the social enterprise in Gangwon actually about what the factors affecting the sustainability of social enterprises. The most important priority is 'value creation and communication of the stakeholders' category i) Communication with the social mission of an ongoing quest and corporate internal and external stakeholders, efforts to enhance the social reputation, ii) social organizations in the community and productive relationships with suppliers were two appeared to be the most important factor, "Finance and support" sector, was found to be an important factor in the efficient operation through the effective use of government policy support and sponsorship projects generate operating income. Second, the it was a 'internal business processes' communication efforts and conflict resolution mechanisms through the involvement of employees in the internal affairs division appeared to be important, Finally, we showed that expression and whether the existence of a successor group of entrepreneurial leadership, learning and innovation sector is an important factor affecting the sustainability of the social enterprise.

This performance is motivated to develop a tracking antenna system for receive the satellite broadcasting signal in the coast sailing ship. Therefore, this system is made to small size, light weight and simple operation which is must to low cost system for popularization of small size ship and adaptive possibilities with useful on a ship in the coast using 1 axis Az-mount. The antenna mount structure is a compact size and easy operation to the Az-axis type which is operated by step motor. The antenna unit is a domestic made plate type of patch array and ship's moving detection is using the gyro sensor for ship's moving control. We are designed to algorithm, which walking is abreast for step track and ship's moving compensation. Ship's moving compensation is adapted to the closed loop control method by detection from gyro sensor. This system is consisted of micro processor, ADC, comparative amplifier, step motor driver, mount mechanism and algorithm. We have analysised the tracking performance of prototype on sailing ship board.

With the help of the advancements in information and communication, information appliances are changing. Flat panels made it possible for information appliances to become smaller in size and lighter in weight, and high end graphics provide increase in realistic and immersive use. Even with these advancements interest in design for laboratory equipment tend to only stay on a level of the exterior of the equipment, not to the point of designing the interface of display GUI. Inspired with the problem above this research would contain the preference analysis ondisplay GUI design considering the characteristics of the main users and the laboratory equipment itself. The test would be held through comparison of graphic-based display GUI and text-based display GUI and analyzing the task time and number of errors made, looking for which display GUI scientist prefer. The test results show that text-based GUI has a higher efficiency but the actual users preferred the graphic-based display GUI.

Recently, several environment damage caused by malicious or suspicious code is increasing. We study comprehensive response system actively for malware detection. Suspicious code is installed on your PC without your consent, users are unaware of the damage. Also, there are need to technology for realtime processing of Big Data. We must develope advanced technology for malware detection. We must analyze the static, dynamic of executable file for fundamentally malware detection in recently and verified by a reputation for verification. It is need to judgment of similarity for realtime response with big data. In this paper, we proposed realtime detection and verification technology using multiple filter. Our malware study suggests a new direction of realtime malware detection.
