This study considered the developing course on evaluation indicators of military library which published in 2007, and applied them to 84 military libraries in 2008. By analyzing the results from applying, this study also tried to find more effective evaluation indicators which are available properly. Through the output analysis of documental evaluation and actual inspection, which performed by ten organizations, on military library, revised and completed 28 indexes of 8 classes-plan, finance, service, collection management etc. and some of their evaluation scales. For accurate, objective evaluation, it is suggested that the navy and the air force libraries which have different military traits have needs for grouping separately from the army libraries, and also proposed to make standard of research on the actual condition for military libraries that can be used in each military line.

To evaluate companies that participated in the defense R&D project, 27 variables are chosen through literature survey, feature analysis of defense R&D and interviews with military experts. 17 variables are selected after factor analysis which is applied to reduce the number of variables and to detect structure in the relationships among variables, that is to classify variables using Likert-type scales. And then 17 variables are prioritized by AHP (analytic hierarchy process) method. It is shown that communication skill & cooperation strategy, level of technology, possession of needs technology have high priorities. However, protection plan of technology leakage, expertise of subcontractors, software development plan have low priorities.

Outcome indicators measuring public libraries´ impact on the community and individual community members have a great utility on the accountability improvement better management and role enhancement. This study identifies such areas of demonstrating public library impacts as economic value, social contribution, and information literacy, by literature review. A framework pertinent to develop public library outcome indicators is suggested for implementing outcome based evaluation in an individual public library´s environment.

The purpose of this study was to develop evaluation indices for forest landscape classification. The indices were chosen to enable forest managers to establish effective landscape management strategies through three times of focus group interviews and email survey with experts. The 13 landscape evaluation indices were finally divided into four categories. They were ecological health (degree of green naturality, degree of ecological naturality, disease and insect damage, crown vitality), aesthetic visual quality (naturalness, harmony, diversity, traditionality, aesthetic appreciation, rarity), and sensitivity (level of tourism/recreational use), interruptions (damaged land, artificial structures). The five-level was suggested for the forest landscape classification system.

This study was implemented to suggest various indicators of collection evaluation for collection development policy in public libraries. For the sake of the exploratory research, this study tried to show the usability of indicators of collection evaluation through actual data of a case study. Also to analyze indicators of collection evaluation, this study used the ten years circulation records of the Gwangjin District Public Library in Seoul. Majors indicators of collection evaluation were the rate of use and use factor of purchasing books by annual, the rate of use and use factor of librarian's recommended books by annual, the rate of non circulating books by annual, and the rate of use by residence annually.

This study was conducted to develop a technique of ecosystem health assessment on Korea National Parks. The purpose of natural resource monitoring in national parks is to develop scientific information on the current status and long term trends in the composition, structure, and function of park ecosystems, and to determine how well current management practices are sustaining those ecosystems. The evaluation results will reflect in the park conservation and polices and promote the effect and functions of assessment program to the people. Health assessment steps were performed in order the establishing monitoring goals and objectives, development of the conceptual model, frame establishment, determination of indicators, standard and classification and health assessment. Health Indicators were selected the 13 with common, choice and climate indicators. We developed a pictogram and was separated into five colors to health condition, it was divided into three shape for comparison with the past state. Seoraksan, Odaesan National Park has been rated highly but Bukhansan, Kyeryongsan National Park has been underestimated.

A concept of sustainable development has become a major concern in international debate on water resources development and environmental conservation. Although sustainable water resources development and management takes a significant amount of concern in the development research, its applicability has not been insufficient in practices. The purpose of this study is to address a definition of sustainable water resources development and management and to illustrate relevant indicators. The study has also attempted to develop localized indicators hence to assess an availability of water resources development and management and to evaluate the water resources in Korea with the indicators which have been developed in other countries.

The main purpose of this research was to develop a multi-level evaluation framework for the management effectiveness of the Forest Genetic Resources Reserve (FGRR) at both the system level and the site level. The initial system level Management Effectiveness Evaluation (MEE) framework for FGRR was developed based on the MEE Framework designed by IUCN WCPA and MEE framework for Korean National Parks that was designed jointly by IUCN, the Korean Ministry of Environment, and the Korea National Park Service. Several indicators were added or modified considering characteristics of the FGRR. The final system level MEE frameworks consisted of 6 categories with total of 39 criteria and 42 indicators based on expert survey results. The initial site-level MEE framework was developed based on the site level MEE framework for Korean National Parks that was designed jointly by IUCN, the Korean Ministry of Environment, and the Korea National Park Service. The final site level MEE framework consisted of 6 categories with total of 16 criteria and 40 indicators based on both an expert survey and an intensive workshop with the officers in charge of managing the FGRR from the Korea Forest Service and local governments.

정보화의 진전과 더불어 삶의 편이성은 증대되고 있으나 개인과 조직은 물론이고 국가에 이르기까지 정보보안 사고로 피해와 고통 또한 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 사고로 인한 피해를 사전에 예방하거나 사후 손실을 최소화하기 위해서는 적절한 관리가 필요하며 이를 위해서는 무엇보다 실용적인 정보보안 평가지표의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 정보보안을 대표하는 문헌을 참조하여 평가지표를 도출하고, 일련의 부합성 분석을 통해 보다 실용적인 정보보안 평가지표를 도출하여 제시하고자 한다.

Since Successive introduction of BMS(Bus Management System) into the local governments has been able to collect each bus data on the road and valuate the bus operation by the quantitative index not qualitative index. we need a study on punctuality index for evaluation of service level for bus operation using bus location information. We propose punctuality index for bus operation using time-space diagram and valuate the index by application to real bus data.
