A study on structural safety evaluation of jet vane under very high temperature and dynamic pressure (초고온 동압을 받는 제트 베인의 구조 안전성 평가에 대한 연구)

  • To evaluate structural safety factor of the jet vane for the thrust deflection system under the dynamic pressure and very high temperature($2700^{\circ}C$) of the combustion gas flow, the high temperature tension tests of refractory metals and 3-D nonlinear numerical simulations are performed. Through the analysis of high temperature structural behavior for jet vane, the structural safety of jet vane is evaluated, and numerical results are compared with static pound tests of jet vanes. It has been found that most of structural and thermal loading is concentrated on the vane shaft which worked as safe under $1400^{\circ}C$. From the comparison of static ground tests and numerical results, the evaluation criterion using the vane load and shaft displacement is more useful to estimate the structural safety than using the equivalent stress.

  • Recently, the number of interventional procedures has increased dramatically as an alternative of invasive surgical procedure. The need for the quality control program of the angiographic units has also increased, because of concerns about the increased patient dose and the importance of image quality of angiographic units for the successful procedures. The purpose of this study was to propose an optimal guideline for the quality control program of the angiographic units. We reviewed domestic and international standards about medical imaging system and we evaluated the quality of 61 angiographic units in Korea with the use of NEMA 21 phantom. According to the results of our study, we propose a guideline for the quality control program of the angiographic units. Quality control program includes tube voltage test, tube current test, HVL test, image-field geometry test, spatial resolution test, low-contrast iodine detectability test, wire resolution test, phantom entrance dose test. Proposed reference levels are as follows: PAE < $\pm$ 10% in tube voltage test, PAE < $\pm$ 15% in tube current test, minimum 2.3 mmAl at 80 kVp in HVL test, minimum 'acceptable' level at image-field geometry test, 0.8 lp/mm for detector size of 34-40cm, 1.0 lp/mm for detector size of 28-33cm, 1.2 lp/mm for detector size of 22-27cm in spatial resolution test, minimum 200mg/cc in low contrast iodine detectability test, phantom entrance dose should be under 10R/min, 0.012 inch wire should be seen at static wire resolution test, and 0.022 inch wire should be seen at moving wire resolution test.

  • The ITS performance evaluation has been performed in the evaluation of traffic data collection equipment. However, evaluation of the data collection equipment alone cannot guarantee the reliability of the traffic information. So, ITS service evaluation has to be implemented institutionally. In this study, an evaluation method has been prepared to evaluate the accuracy of travel time information in road sections. In addition, a piece of portable reference equipment was developed to collect travel time data on the road. Field tests were performed on two national road sections managed by the Seoul Construction and Management Administration (SCMA) to prepare an evaluation method considering field conditions and evaluate the reference equipment's performance. Based on the test results, the improvement of the reference equipment to collect more samples and the adjustment of collection points were discussed.

랫트를 이용한 최기형시험에 있어서 효율적인 독성평가를 위한 기초연구

  • 신의약품의 생식독성 평가를 위해서는 타독성시험의 경우와 마찬가지로 NOEL (no observed effect level) 의 범위를 확립하는 일이 매우 중요한데, 이것은 정상치(control values), 자연발생소견 (spontaneous findings)등과 비교함으로서 가능하다. SPF 동물을 이용한 독성실험은 선진국에 비해 역사가 짧을 뿐만 아니라 아직 풍부한 기초자료가 확립되지 않아 외국의 자료들을 인용하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 랫트를 이용한 최기형 시험결과의 효율적인 평가를 위해 생식독성 검사항목의 기초 데이타를 확립하였다. 이를 위해 화학연구소 실험동물육종실에서 입수한 SPF: Sprague- Dawley 랫트를 이용해 1989년부터 1991년까지 실시한 생식독성 시험의 대조준 데이타 (체중, 사료소비량, 장기중량, 제왕절개성적, 외표, 내부장기 및 골격검사성적, 자연분만군 시험성적 등)를 분석하였다. 요늑의 발현율, 견인력 시험결과 및 피모발생 일평이 외국의 타 연구기판 데이타와 다소 차이를 나타냈을 뿐 기타 항목들은 거의 일치하는 정상치를 보였다. 아울러 기형, 변이, 골화지연 등으로 구분되는 골격소견의 합리적인 평가를 위해 랫트 골격소견 평가기준을 정했고 최기형 시험에서 얻어지는 데이터의 통계처리 방법을 보완, 체계화하였다. 본 연구결과는 Sprague-Dawley 계통 랫트외 생물학적 정외는 물론 효율적인 생식독성 평가를 위한 소중한 기초 자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.

Field Test Analysis of Electronic Toll Collection System, Hi-Pass (자동요금징수 시스템(ETCS)의 통신방식별 성능평가 결과 분석)

  • This study introduces the process of the field test of ETCS that has been performed by six enterprises for selecting the type of ETCS that will be applied to the internal tall roads. The main communication modes of six enterprises are active RF(radio wave)type and IR(optical wave)type. In this study, communication modes and systems, which are being used by each enterprises, have been compared and analyzed. Besides this, the configuration and the basic performances of the system have been checked. After those, the contents of the field performance test classified by the items of the test and the results of the test, finally, have been analyzed. Through analyzing the test, it is found that an enterprise using IR type and two enterprises using RF type satisfied the standards of the test and the others failed to meet the standards. However, the enterprises seem to be becoming stable by a large number of tests and the effort for improving from general point of view. Although the methods of performance evaluation in this field test considered enough patterns that are used in the present highway or Hi-Pass, there might possibly be some problems in the results because Korea Highway Corporation had decided the method and the number of times of the test according to their own standards about the various situations that can happen. Therefore, it will be needed to develop the method of standards for testing the performance which can be correspond with driver's behavior that can actually happen on the highway or the methods of transportation management.

Establishment of Failure Criteria of Repeated Direct Tensile Test to Evaluate Reflective Cracking Resistance of Asphalt Concrete Pavement (아스팔트 콘크리트 포장의 반사균열 저항성 평가를 위한 반복직접인장시험의 파괴기준 설정)

  • There are various test methods for evaluating the reflective cracking resistance of asphalt concrete pavement. Repeated direct tensile test is cheap and simple compared to the other traditional experimental methods. Determination of failure criteria is needed to apply a repeated direct tensile test. Various methods were used to determine the number of failure of repeated direct tensile test. The number of failure was defined as the time to reach 10% of the initial load, this method can be satisfied with specified tolerance of 10%. When the thickness of specimen is increased to 50 mm from 30 mm, the failure number is increased by 13.6 times. Thus, this result shows that the thickness of pavement is a big influence on the reflective cracking resistance. Reflective cracking resistance of asphalt concrete is decreased according to the increase in opening displacement. The repeated direct tensile test can be used as a reflective cracking resistance factor in pavement design, because it can evaluate the reflective cracking resistance according to the pavement thickness, opening displacement, material properties etc.

  • "화학물질의 등록 및 평가 등에 관한 법률"도입이 산업과 경제에 미치는 영향은 화학물질에 대한 시험비용의 크기, 시험 대상 화학물질 종류, 대체물질 사용 비용부담 증가 등 간접비용의 크기 등에 따라 현저히 차이가 났다. 국내 시험 기관에서 제시한 시험비용 데이터를 이용하여 추정된 화평법 도입의 제조업 비용증대 크기는 환경부 데이터를 기준으로 할 경우에 비해 6~8배 큰 것으로 분석되었다. GDP 감소 영향(2015년 기준)도 환경부 데이터를 기준으로 할 경우 0.001~0.015%의 미미한 수준에 그칠 것이나 REACH 시험비용을 기준으로 할 경우에는 0.01~0.09%로 크게 상승하는 것으로 추정되었다. 본 연구에서는 또한 화평법 도입의 적용대상이 환경부의 계획대로 단일물질에 국한됨으로써 완제품의 경우 비용부담이 전혀 발생하지 않는 것으로 가정하였으나, 실제로는 완제품의 경우에도 화평법 도입의 영향을 받을 가능성이 있는 것으로 우려되고 있다.

차량의 주행역학적 특성규명을 위한 시험 및 평가방법

  • 차량 주행특성을 규명하기 위한 연구방법에 대한 일반적 고찰을 토대로 주요 개방회로시험과 관련 평가기준들이 소개되었다. 그러나, 차량의 주행상 안전도 연구를 위한 종합적인 척도는 이제까지 설명된 평가기준들로부터 아직 명확히 귀결지을 수 없음을 강조하여야 한다. 이유로 서는, 한편으로 응용되어진 연구방법들이 실제 교통사고 발생상황을 포괄하기에는 아직 불충분 하며, 또 한편으로는 주어진 한 시험방법에서 주행안전도 판정을 위해 제기된 특성치가 절대적인 값으로 확정지을 수 없기 때문이다. 따라서 전체 시스템 '운전자-차량-환경'에 있어서 주행특 성의 완전한 평가를 내리기 위해서는, 객관적으로 서술될 수 있는 차량의 주행특성-안정성 및 조절성과 운전자에 의한 주관적인 판별 또한 환경요소에 의한 영향들에 대하여 상호 연관관계가 복합적으로 해석. 규명되어져야만 할 것이다.
