In this study, A Magnetic stimulation Pulse Train control technique is introduced and applied to Flyback converter operating in discontinuous conduction mode. In contrast to the conventional pulse width modulation control scheme, the principal idea of a Magnetic stimulation Pulse Train is to achieve output voltage regulation using high and low power pulses. The proposed technique is applicable to any converter operating in discontinuous conduction. However, this work mainly focuses on Flyback topology. In this paper, the main mathematical concept of the new control algorithm is introduced and simulations as well as experimental results are presented.
In this paper, we conduct a simulation of manipulating various pulsed laser operations through tuning the modulation depth of the saturable absorber in a laser cavity. The research, showing that various pulsed operations could be manipulated from Q-switching through Q-switched mode locking to mode locking by tuning the modulation depth of the saturable absorber in a cavity, has been studied by experimental means. We conduct a simulation with the Haus master equation to verify that these experimental results are consistent with expectations from theory. The time dependence of the gain was considered to express Q-switching fluctuation through applying a rate equation with the Haus master equation. Laser operation was manipulated from mode locking through Q-switched mode locking to Q-switching as modulation depth was increased, and this result agreed well with the theoretical expectation.

In this paper, a 10-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with small area is proposed. The 10-bit DAC consists of a 8-bit decoder, a 2-bit time-interpolator, and a buffer amplifier. The proposed time-interpolation is achieved by controlling the charging time through a low-pass filter composed of a resistor and a capacitor. To implement the accurate time-interpolator, a control pulse generator using a replica circuit is proposed to minimize the effect of the process variation. The proposed 10-bit Time-Interpolation DAC occupies 61 % of the conventional 10-bit resistor-string DAC. The proposed DAC is designed using a $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS process with a 3.3 V supply. The simulated DNL and INL are +0.15/-0.21 LSB and +0.15/-0.16 LSB, respectively.

The pulse gun device is designed to identify the transverse pressure wave propagation/damping mechanism into the combustion flow field and in the combustion chamber according to the arrangement of multiple injectors. The manufactured pulse gun was tested to verify operability at the target combustion pressure and control of the pressure wave intensity. Gas nitrogen was used to pressurize the high-pressure tube and an OHP film of $100{\mu}m$ thickness was used for the diaphragm. To check the speed and intensity of the pressure waves, the dynamic and static pressure were measured using the pressure transducer. The performance test confirmed that the manufactured pulse gun can generate pressure waves with transverse characteristics that can be controled for strength depending on the supply pressure.

This paper presents a Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB) technique to obtain compressive stress-strain data for rubber materials. An experimental technique that modifies the conventional Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB) has been developed for measuring the compressive stress-strain responses of materials with low mechanical impedance and low compressive strengths such as rubber. This paper introduces an all-polymeric pressure bar which achieves a closer impedance match between the pressure bar and the specimen materials. In addition, we are a pulse shaper to lengthen the rising time of the incident wave to ensure stress equilibrium and homogeneous deformation of a rubber materials. It is found that the modified technique can be determine the dynamic deformation behavior of an NBR rubber more accurately.

There is a many way of LPRE throttling methods, high-pressure-drop systems, dual-manifold injector, gas injection, multiple chambers, pulse modulation and movable injector components. Especially dual-manifold injector is essentially combines two fixed-area injectors into a common structure, with independent feed systems controlling flow to each injector manifold. In this paper, using indirect photography and liquid film thickness measurement with various injection pressure and tangential entry diameter to decide stability of spray over a wide thrust range in dual manifold injector.

The characteristics of echolocation signals of the Common Dolphin, Delphinus Delphis was observed by the hydrophone in order to detect exactly distribution and migration on whales and dolphins in Korean Coastal waters. It's observation was carried out at the position of 13 mm off Gam-Po of Korean east-southern sea at 3rd-5th. April and 13th-15th. October, 1999. The results obtained are summarized as follows: (1) The frequency range of ship's noise and ambient noise in the observed station was 0.5-0.3 kHz, that ones could be influenced to the behavior of common dolphins which carry out echolocation using low-frequency. (2) The common dolphin was radiated single click of 8.6 ms and double click of 4.8 ms pulse width during these observation (3) The high click frequencies of common dolphin were 5.10 kHz, 7.22 kHz, 10.60 kHz with the click pulse width of 4.0 ms, 2.6 ms, 1.0 ms, respectively. In case of low-frequency 1-2 kHz, that is, 1.12 kHz, 1.38 kHz, 1.82 kHz, pulse width were 22.4 ms, 2.05 ms, 11.9 ms, respectively and they showed a tendency using triple click signal. (4) The pulse width, pulse recurrence interval and frequency range of the observed echolocation signals were 2.4-8.4 ms, 9.0-40.0 ms, 0.60-10.63 kHz respectively, and frequency spectrum level was 100-125 dB for single, double, triple click signals.
We report on the development of a passively mode-locked near-infrared femtosecond laser with Cr:YAG crystal that operates near room temperature. The laser wavelength could easily be tuned by using only the internal prism pair over 110 nm from 1400 nm to 1510 nm in cw and over about 30 nm in mode-locked operation, respectively Maximum cw output powers of 810 mW were obtained with $1.5 \%$ output coupler for absorbed pump powers of 7.6 W. For compensation of the internal group velocity dispersion, an IR graded prism pair was used. The Cr:YAG laser delivered nearly Fourier-transform limited pulses with a pulse duration as short as 64 fs at 100 MHz repetition rate. In the mode-locked regime, the laser was operating at 1510 nm with a spectral bandwidth of 44 nm. In order to avoid unstable mode-locking and power instabilities, self-built tubes were inserted into the beam path in the resonator and purged with N2 gas. Finally, output powers of the Cr:YAG laser were optimized to 250 mW fer long time stable mode-locked operation.
