  • Recently, there has been a fast paradigm shift in the automotive market from the traditional machine-oriented technology into the technology for vehicle informatics and electronics. In particular, telematics market is accelerating the development of technologies for vehicle informatics through the close cooperation between the vehicle makers and mobile communication companies. However, there may be the degradation of the quality of service by the interference since the telematics uses the wireless communication infrastructure for the base station-to-vehicle communication and the vehicle-to-vehicle communication. This paper presents an analysis device to easily analyze the interference by the wireless communication in the vehicle wireless network environment. Using the analysis results by the presented device, this paper shows that the link quality can be improved through the simulation and the experiment in real environment both.

  • As users constitute one of the three components of a transportation system; and in many respects the most important component, user perception is a critical element within the concept of transportation services as transportation exists to provide high quality service to various user groups. However, this user perception has not been studied because it is difficult to be analyzed. The purpose of this study is to introduce the importance and alternative method to consider transportation user perception for various transportation engineering areas such as service quality and safety level of transportation system. For this purpose, various studies related to transportation user perception were reviewed. In addition, experiment results were analyzed to investigate the characteristics of transportation user perception.

  • The Java programming language is designed for developing effective applications in a heterogeneous network environment. Major problem in Java is its performance. many attractive features of Java make the development of software easy, but also make it expensive to support ; applications written in Java are often much slower than their counterparts written in C or C++. To use Java`s attractive features without the performance penalty, sophisticated optimizations and runtime systems are required. Optimising Java bytecode has several advantages. First, the bytecode is independent of any compiler that is used to generate it. Second, the bytecode optimization can be performed as a pre=pass to Just-In-Time(JIT) compilation. Many attractive features of Java make the development of software easy, but also make it expensive to support. The goal of this work is to develop automatic construction of code optimizer for Java bytecode. We`ve designed and implemented a Bytecode Optimizer that performs the peephole optimization, bytecode-specific optimization, and method-inlining techniques. Using the Classfile optimizer, we see up to 9% improvement in speed and about 20% size reduction in Java class files, when compared to average code using the interpreter alone.

  • Recently, Logistics industry has emerged a new u-logistics paradigm combines USN / RFID technology. In this paper offers a vehicle history Web-based logistics management system based on the u-logistics paradigm. The design of this system is considered all events processes as a form of recycling and entire system is to modeling based UML of object oriented. Also It was undergone some process to make sure by logistics vehicles identified that RFID based was identified vehicle logistics. To identify logistics vehicle based RFID, identified the logistics vehicles is a process that will determine. The implementation method designed the interface based web which uses in the manager to C/S methods, consideration of the mobility of the system user implements the user GUI based PDA. As well as, In this paper was separated customer, manufacturer, distributor, administrator, drivers, respectively and focuses to raise a system reusability which is implementation by separately for each feature.

4PBL model proposal for education of Game Design (게임 교과목 교육을 위한 4PBL모델 제안 연구)

  • This article aims to present an effective and systematic learning methodology of game curriculum which is oriented convergence education. In particular, I will present the 4PBL model reflecting the trend of the changing times from teacher-centered learning to learner-centered learning environment. The 4PBL model consists of Personal based Learning, Problem based Learning, Project based learning and Performance based Learning. In this article, I will explain the concepts and characteristics of PBLs at each stage by providing concrete examples of game education courses. Such an attempt may have a meaningful value in that it can suggest a learning environment in which knowledge can be structured subjectively in a changing educational paradigm.

  • 본 논문에서는 두 단백질의 구조적 유사성을 기반으로 한 단백질 비교를 위해서 전처리 기법으로서의 주성분분석기법을 소개한다. 기존의 백본 및 알파탄소 간의 거리행렬(distance matrix), 2차 구조 비교기법, 구역(segment)단위의 비교 기법과 같은 단백질 비교 기법들은 위치이동(translation)와 회전(rotation)에 불변한(invariant) 차이를 구하기 위하여 거리행렬을 이용하였다. 그리고, 난 다음 이들의 최적화 과정을 거쳤다. 그러나, 본 논문에서 제시하는 전처리 기법으로서의 주성분분석기법은 단백질 구조를 전체적인 구조 관점에서 위치를 정렬시킨 후에 단백질 간의 구조를 비교하는 방식이다. 단백질의 구조의 방향성(Orientation)을 맞춘 다음에는 다양한 단백질 표현으로 구를 비교할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 두 단백질의 구조의 유사성을 측정하기 위한 간결한 단백질 표현(representation)으로 3 차원 에지 히스토그램을 사용하였다. 이 기법은 방향성을 정렬하기 위하여 기존의 방법에서 사용되었던 반복적인 거리계산을 통한 최적화하는 과정을 없앰으로써 단백질 구조 비교 시간을 단축할 수 있는 새로운 단백질 구조 비교 패러다임을 가능하게 한다. 따라서, 이 패러다임을 통하여 적절한 단백질 구조 방향성 정렬과 단백질 구조 표현을 이용한 단백질 구조 비교 검색 시스템은 많은 양의 단백질 구조 정보로부터 원하는 형태의 단백질 구조를 빠른 시간에 검색할 수 있는 장점을 가질 수 있다.

  • 근래 국내에서는 기후변화로 인한 국지성 호우가 점점 늘어나는 추세로 급격한 하천 수위상승 및 유량 증가로 인해 지속적으로 홍수피해가 발생하고 있으며, 이를 예방하기 위한 실시간 자료수집의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 이러한 사회적 환경을 고려하여 우리는 물 순환에 관한 자료를 실시간으로 수집하고 홍수예보를 위한 수문조사시설을 설치하여 운영하고 있으나, 대부분 하천과 인접한 곳에 설치되는 시설 특성상 시스템 오류, 전원 이상 발생 등 다양한 요인으로 발생하는 자료 결측·손실에 즉각적인 조치가 어려운 실정이다. 이에, 현장 기반 시설의 안정적인 운영을 통한 연속성 있는 자료 제공을 위해 수문조사시설 중 하천 내 설치된 유량측정시스템에 ICT·사물인터넷(IoT, Internet of Things)을 적용하여 현장 환경-정보 등 언택트(non-contact) 모니터링을 통해 실시간 점검을 수행하였다. 그 결과 2022년 기준 총 508회(현장점검 358회) 점검 중 150회 원격점검을 수행하였고, 이중 74회 즉각 점검 및 복구 조치가 이루어져 점검 시간 단축을 통한 자료 결측 최소화, 현장점검 최소화를 통해 효율적인 시설 운영이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한, 점검을 위해 현장 이동 시 발생하는 이산화탄소 배출량 저감으로 탄소중립 효과도 나타낼 수 있었다. 코로나바이러스감염증-19 이후 사회환경 패러다임 전환에 따라 비대면 활성화, 탄소중립, 안전하고 건전한 사회환경 조성 등과 같이 대면 위주로 운영되는 현장 시설의 관리 방향 또한 사회적 상황을 고려하여 효율적인 시설물 운영, 예산 절감, 자료의 연속성 확보 등을 위해 적극적인 운영 방향의 전환이 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • Though programming education has been stressed recently, the elementary, middle, and high school students are having trouble in programming education. Most programming environments for them are based on block coding, which hinders them from moving to text coding. The traditional PC environment has also troubles such as maintenance problems. In this situation, mobile applications can be considered as alternative programming environments. This paper addresses the design and implementation of coding applications for mobile devices. As a prototype, a Scheme interpreter mobile app is proposed, where Scheme is used for programming courses at MIT since it supports multi-paradigm programming. The implementation has the advantage of not consuming the network bandwidth since it is designed as a standalone application. According to the benchmark result, the execution time on Android devices, relative to that on a desktop, was 131% for the Derivative and 157% for the Tak. Further, the maximum execution times for the benchmark programs on the Android device were 19.8ms for the Derivative and 131.15ms for the Tak benchmark. This confirms that when selecting an Android device for programming education purposes, there are no significant constraints for training.

A Power Saving Routing Scheme in Wireless Networks (무선망에서 소비 전력을 절약하는 라우팅 기법)

  • Advances in wireless networking technology has engendered a new paradigm of computing, called mobile computing, in which users carrying portable devices have access to a shared infrastructure independent of their physical locations. Wireless communication has some restraints such as disconnection, low bandwidth, a variation of available bandwidth, network heterogeneity, security risk, small storage, and low power. Power adaptation routing scheme overcome the shortage of power by adjusting the output power, was proposed. Existing power saving routing algorithm has some minor effect such as seceding from shortest path to minimize the power consumption, and number of nodes that Participate in routing than optimal because it select a next node with considering only consuming power. This paper supplements the weak point in the existing power saving routing algorithm as considering the gradual approach to final destination and the number of optimal nodes that participate in routing.

A Low Power Lifelog Management Scheme Based on User Movement Behaviors in Wireless Networks (무선 네트워크 환경에서 사용자 이동행위 기반 저전력 라이프로그 관리기법)

  • With the ever-improving performance of smartphone cameras and the universal dissemination of cloud services, users can now record and store the events in their daily lives more easily and conveniently. The advent of lifelogging technology has been changing the uses as well as the paradigm of internet services, and emphasizing the importance of services being personalization. As the amount of lifelog data becomes vast, it requires an efficient way to manage and store such vast information. In this paper, we propose an low power lifelog management scheme based on user movement behaviors in wireless networks. In order to reduce the power consumption of a smartphone, in our proposal, frequency of data collection and transfer can be dynamically adjusted based on a user's movement pattern. The analytical results show that our approach achieves better performance than that of the existing lifelog management scheme.
