  • 본 논문에서는 전압과 마찰전기에 의하여 전하를 가진 대전입자가 운동을 기반으로 이미지를 구현하는 대전입자형 디스플레이의 패널을 셀과 전극이 형성된 상판과 하판으로 제작하였으며, 각 패널은 격벽높이를 다르게 하여 대전입자층을 여러 층으로 addressing하여 spacer로 cell gap에 변화를 두어 합착하였다. 합착한 패널에 낮은 전압부터 인가하여 threshold voltage와 driving voltage, breakdown voltage를 확인하여 선명한 이미지 구현을 할 수 있었다.

  • New technologies using a CNC machine to reduce the production cost of free-form buildings are being developed. To produce free-form members with such technologies, a vast free form building should be first divided into multiple panels that can be produced. Considering the curved surface of free-form buildings, the shape and size of divided freeform panels vary, which will lead to a great deal of errors. Currently, the engineers and designers complete the panelizing work through trials and errors even in large-scale projects, which results in increased construction duration and cost. Thus, it is necessary to develop a freeform panelizing technology to maximize the economic effects of free-form concrete member production technology. The purpose of the study is to analyze influence factors on panelizing of free-form buildings, which is a preceding research for development of a panelizing technology. The influence factors drawn will provide a core basis for development of panelizing technologies for free-form buildings.

  • A study on the dynamic ground effect on three-dimensional wings is done using an indirect boundary element method(unsteady panel method). An integral equation is obtained by applying Green's theorem on all surfaces of the fluid domain. Constant strength dipole and source panels arc distributed on a wing's surface. The wake sheet is represented by constant strength dipoles. At each time step, a row of wake panels is assumed to be convected from the trailing edge of the wing. The tip vortex behind wings in dynamic ground effect moves outward. The amplitudes of the aerodynamic coefficients for the wings in dynamic ground effect are augmented much more comparing to the case in static ground effect.

Development of a Walking-type Solar Panel Cleaning Robot Capable of Driving on Inclined Solar Panel (경사진 패널 위에서 주행이 가능한 보행형 태양광 패널 청소로봇 시스템 개발)

  • This paper propose the method to drive a solar panel cleaning robot efficiently on an inclined panel using vacuum pad pressure. In this method, the rubber pads using the vacuum pressure are used to attach robot body to the panel surface. By applying the linkage mechanism to the vacuum pads, it was possible to reduce robot weight and power consumption and to prevent slipping of the robot. In addition, the use of solenoid valves, proximity sensors, and encoders to detect movement of the robot body and the control of the pad pressure dedicate to the driving of the robot on an inclined panel. In order to move the robot forward, the operation sequence of multiple solenoid valves was completed, and the six vacuum pads mounted to both legs were accurately controlled to form vacuum and atmospheric pressure in right order so that the robot could move forward without slipping. At last, it was confirmed through experiments that straight-forward moving and rotational movement could be performed up to 36 degrees of inclination angle of solar panel.

  • 이동통신 시스템에서 가입자수가 증가하고 다양한 서비스가 구현됨으로써 전체적인 장비 또는 자원에 대한 부하가 증가하고 있다. 특히, 셀의 반경이 작아지고 단문(Short Message)을 활용한 다양한 부가 서비스가 개발됨으로써 이와 관련된 정보를 전달하는 페이징 메시지의 분류도 복잡해지고 페이징 채널의 부하도 커지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 먼저, 이동통신시스템에서 페이징 패널의 구조와 역할을 분석하고 페이징 채널에서 전송하는 메시지를 그 기능과 특성에 따라 분류한다. 긴급하게 전송되어야 하는 메시지를 보호하기 위한 우선권 부여 방법을 모색하고, 각 방법에 있어서 메시지 종류별 전송지연시간(Delay)을 수리적으로 도출하고 결과를 비교한다.

  • Since the third industrial revolution has been started in the 1980s, the form of buildings has been varied and atypical by the development of building technology. Such free-form building has a curved shape unlike the existing standard buildings, and to realize this, it is necessary to manufacture the free-from panel. The shape of the free-form panel must satisfy a limited error ratio compared with the design shape, and the technology to produce free-form panels is very difficult. However, there are many problems such as enormous cost and construction waste generation when implementing free-from construction. Therefore, the development of free-form panel manufacturing technology should be made to solve the problems caused by the free-form construction. In this study, the error rate analysis of the mixed mortar panel was conducted by selecting the proper mixing ratio of the mixed mortar for the shape of the free-form panel.

  • 터치패널은 키보드나 마우스와 같은 입력장치를 사용하지 않고, 스크린에 손가락, 펜 등을 접촉하여 입력하는 방식이다. 누구나 쉽게 입력할 수 있는 장점으로 인해 기존에는 현금인출기, 키오스크 등 공공분야에 주로 많이 사용되어 왔으나, 최근의 터치스크린은 휴대폰, 게임기, 네비게이션, 노트북 모니터 등 개인정보기기의 입력장치로 활용분야가 넓어져가고 있다. 기존 터치패널은 유리 기판 위에 ITO박막(투명전도막)을 진공코팅하여 사용하여 왔지만, 최근 터치패널은 경량화를 고려하여 PET 필름 기판 위에 ITO 박막을 진공코팅하여 사용하고 있다. PET 필름의 유연성 때문에 ITO 코팅된 필름을 PC 혹은 강화유리 위에 OCA 물질을 이용하여 다시 고정하여야 한다. 이때 터치패널 제작시 생산공정이 늘어나 생산성이 떨어지고, 터치패녈의 광투과율도 떨어지는 2차적인 문제가 발생한다. 이를 해결코자하는 터치페널 업체의 Needs가 있고, 최근에 이를 해결하기 위하여 PC, 강화유리 그리고 COP 기판 위에 ITO 박막을 직접 진공코팅하는 공정개발이 진행되고 있다. ITO 박막은 진공코팅 중에 열을 가하여 결정화를 이루어야 하는데, PC, 강화유리 그리고 COP 기판의 열에 약한 특성을 고려하여, 열을 가하지 않고 ITO 박막을 진공 코팅하여야 한다. 이러한 ITO 박막의 진공코팅 공정에는 In-line magnetron sputtering system이 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 In-line magnetron sputtering system을 사용하여 강화유리 기판 위에 정전용량방식 터치패널용 패턴 인비저블 ITO 투명전도막을 제작하고 그 특성을 조사하였다. ITO 박막의 면저항은 230 Ohm/cm2, 최고 광투과율은 90.96% (@541 - 543 nm), 그리고 550 nm에서 광투과율은 90.45%로 ITO 박막 코팅 전후에 투과율 차이가 0.4임을 확인하였다. 정전용량방식의 터치패널에서는 ITO 박막 코팅 전후에 투과율 차이가 1 이하의 특성, 즉 패턴 인비저블의 특성을 필요로 하는데, 이는 ITO 박막 패턴후에 패턴이 보이지 않게 하기 위해서이며, 이러한 시장의 Needs를 고려하면 본 연구에서 매우 중요한 연구 성과를 얻었다고 말할 수 있다.

The design and FPGA implementation of a general-purpose LDI controller for the portable small-medium sized TFT-LCD (중소형 TFT-LCD용 범용 LDI 제어기의 설계 및 FPGA 구현)

  • AIn this paper, a new desist of LDI controller IC for general purpose is proposed for driving the LDI(LCD Driver Interface) controller in $4{\sim}9$ inches sized portable small-medium TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor addressed -Liquid Crystal Display) panel module. The designed LDI controller was verified on the FPGA(Reld Programmable Gate Array) test board, and was made the interactive operation with the commercial TFT-LCD panel successfully. The purpose of design is that it is standardized the LDI controller's operation by one LDI controller for driving all TFT-LCD panel without classifying the panel vendor, and size. The main advantage for new general-purpose LDI controller is the usage for the desist of all panel's SoG(System on a Glass) module because of the design for the standard operation. And in the previous method, it used each LDI controller for every LCD vendor, and panel size, but because a new one can drive all portable small-medium sized panel, it results in reduction of LDI controller supply price, and manufacturing cost of AV(Audio Video) board and panel. In the near future, the development of SoG IC(Integrated Circuit) for manufacturing more excellent functional TFT-LCD panel module is necessary. As a result of this research, the TFT-LCD panel can make more small size, and light weight, and it results in an upturn of domestic company's share in the world market. With the suggested theory in this paper, it expects to be made use of a basic data for developing and manufacturing for the SoG chip of TFT-LCD panel module.

A Study on the Sound Insulation Characteristics of Honeycomb Panels for Offshore Plants (해양플랜트용 허니컴 패널의 차음 특성 연구)

  • Currently, porous materials (e.g., mineral wool) are the core materials used in offshore plant panels, but in spite of their superb acoustic performance, these items must be replaced for environmental reasons. A honeycomb structure is widely used throughout the industry because of its high strength-to-weight ratio. However, research in terms of noise and vibration is minimal. An acoustic study should be conducted by taking advantage of honeycomb structures to replace porous materials. In this study, a simulation was performed assuming that a honeycomb panel is a superposition of symmetric mode and antisymmetric mode. Reliability was verified by comparing a simulation results based on a theory with a experimental results, and the possibility of the panel as a core material was evaluated by studying the sound insulation characteristics of a honeycomb. As the panel thickness increased, the coincidence frequency shifted to low frequency. As the angle between horizontal line and oblique wall and cell-size decreases, the sound insulation performance is improved. And as the cell-wall thickness increased, the sound insulation performance improved.
