A Study on Optimal PID Controller Design Ensure the Absolute Stability (절대안정도를 보장하는 최적 PID 제어기 설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, an optimal controller design that guarantees absolute stability is proposed. The order of application of the thesis determines whether the delay time is included, and if the delay time is included, the delay time is approximated through the Pade approximation method. Then, the open loop transfer function for the process model and the controller transfer function is obtained, and the absolute stability interval is calculated by the Routh-Hurwitz discrimination method. In the last step, the optimal Proportional and Integral and Derivative(PID) control parameter value is calculated using a genetic algorithm using the interval obtained in the previous step. As a result, it was confirmed that the proposed method guarantees stability and is superior to the existing method in performance index by designing an optimal controller. If we study the compensation method for the delay time in the future, it is judged that better performance indicators will be obtained.

  • Drowsy driving, one of the biggest causes of traffic accidents every year, is accompanied by various factors. As a general method to check whether or not there is drowsiness, a method of identifying a driver's expression and driving pattern, and a method of analyzing bio-signals are being studied. This paper proposes a driver fatigue detection system using deep learning technology and bio-signal measurement technology. As the first step in the proposed method, deep learning is used to detect the driver's eye shape, yawning presence, and body movement to detect drowsiness. In the second stage, it was designed to increase the accuracy of the system by identifying the driver's fatigue state using the pulse wave signal and body temperature. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to reliably determine the driver's drowsiness and fatigue in real-time images.

  • The skin is the body's first line of defense against external infection. When a skin disease strikes, the skin's protective role is compromised, necessitating quick diagnosis and treatment. Recently, as artificial intelligence has advanced, research for technical applications has been done in a variety of sectors, including dermatology, to reduce the rate of misdiagnosis and obtain quick treatment using artificial intelligence. Although previous studies have diagnosed skin diseases with low incidence, this paper proposes a method to classify common illnesses such as warts and corns using a convolutional neural network. The data set used consists of 3 classes and 2,515 images, but there is a problem of lack of training data and class imbalance. We analyzed the performance using a deep metric loss function and a cross-entropy loss function to train the model. When comparing that in terms of accuracy, recall, F1 score, and accuracy, the former performed better.

  • The advantage of big data is to collect a large amount of data on the Internet and refine and use valuable data. That is, the unstructured data is processed so that the user can analyze and utilize it from a necessary point of view. This paper is a relatively small project and is based on unstructured data that can be closely applied to real life and used for marketing. The subjects of the experiment were modeled on lodging companies in the Seoul metropolitan area an hour away from Seoul, and analyzed for the increase in lodging rates before and after marketing using big data. As an experiment that shows the effects of increasing sales, reducing costs, and increasing returns by users, we propose a system to determine and filter whether data input in the process of analyzing big data such as social networks can be used as accommodation-related information.

  • In Seoul, about 75,000 CCTVs are installed in 25 district offices. Each ward office has built a control center for CCTV control and is performing 24-hour CCTV video control for the safety of citizens. Seoul Metropolitan Government is building a smart city integrated platform that is safe for citizens by providing CCTV images of the ward office to enable rapid response to emergency/emergency situations by signing an MOU with related organizations. In this paper, when an incident occurs at the Seoul Metropolitan Government Office, the escape route is predicted by discriminating people and vehicles using the AI DNN-based Template Matching technology, MLP algorithm and CNN-based YOLO SPP DNN model for CCTV images. In addition, it is designed to automatically disseminate image information and situation information to adjacent ward offices when vehicles and people escape from the competent ward office. The escape route prediction and tracking system using artificial intelligence can expand the smart city integrated platform nationwide.

  • Amid the recent rapid trend change, the change in design has a great impact on the sales of fashion companies, so it is inevitable to be careful in choosing new designs. With the recent development of the artificial intelligence field, various machine learning is being used a lot in the fashion market to increase consumers' preferences. To contribute to increasing reliability in the development of new products by quantifying abstract concepts such as preferences, we generate new images that do not exist through three adversarial generative neural networks (GANs) and numerically compare abstract concepts of preferences using pre-trained convolution neural networks (CNNs). Deep convolutional generative adversarial networks (DCGAN), Progressive growing adversarial networks (PGGAN), and Dual Discriminator generative adversarial networks (DANs), which were trained to produce comparative, high-level, and high-level images. The degree of similarity measured was considered as a preference, and the experimental results showed that D2GAN showed a relatively high similarity compared to DCGAN and PGGAN.

  • A generative adversarial network (GAN) is a network in which two internal neural networks (generative network and discriminant network) learn while competing with each other. The generator creates an image close to reality, and the delimiter is programmed to better discriminate the image of the constructor. This technology is being used in various ways to create, transform, and restore the entire image X into another image Y. This paper describes a method that can be forged into another object naturally, after extracting only a partial image from the original image. First, a new image is created through the previously trained DCGAN model, after extracting only a partial image from the original image. The original image goes through a process of naturally combining with, after re-styling it to match the texture and size of the original image using the overall style transfer technique. Through this study, the user can naturally add/transform the desired object image to a specific part of the original image, so it can be used as another field of application for creating fake images.

Classification of bearded seals signal based on convolutional neural network (Convolutional neural network 기법을 이용한 턱수염물범 신호 판별)

  • Several studies using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) have been conducted to detect and classify the sounds of marine mammals in underwater acoustic data collected through passive acoustic monitoring. In this study, the possibility of automatic classification of bearded seal sounds was confirmed using a CNN model based on the underwater acoustic spectrogram images collected from August 2017 to August 2018 in East Siberian Sea. When only the clear seal sound was used as training dataset, overfitting due to memorization was occurred. By evaluating the entire training data by replacing some training data with data containing noise, it was confirmed that overfitting was prevented as the model was generalized more than before with accuracy (0.9743), precision (0.9783), recall (0.9520). As a result, the performance of the classification model for bearded seals signal has improved when the noise was included in the training data.

Vehicle Type Classification Model based on Deep Learning for Smart Traffic Control Systems (스마트 교통 단속 시스템을 위한 딥러닝 기반 차종 분류 모델)

  • With the recent development of intelligent transportation systems, various technologies applying deep learning technology are being used. To crackdown on illegal vehicles and criminal vehicles driving on the road, a vehicle type classification system capable of accurately determining the type of vehicle is required. This study proposes a vehicle type classification system optimized for mobile traffic control systems using YOLO(You Only Look Once). The system uses a one-stage object detection algorithm YOLOv5 to detect vehicles into six classes: passenger cars, subcompact, compact, and midsize vans, full-size vans, trucks, motorcycles, special vehicles, and construction machinery. About 5,000 pieces of domestic vehicle image data built by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology for the development of artificial intelligence technology were used as learning data. It proposes a lane designation control system that applies a vehicle type classification algorithm capable of recognizing both front and side angles with one camera.

  • Intelligent maritime traffic information services provide services for maritime traffic safety, but due to the difference in ship specifications and loading condition, the method of determining abnormalities in ship stability has not been generalized. In this study, we established a method for collecting and preprocessing Accelerometer and GPS data for calculating ship stability. In addition, we have researched a model that can determine the real-time ship stability through data science algorithms that can reflect each vessel specifications and external forces, breaking away from approximate calculations that cannot reflect weather factors in the real ocean.
