Application and Evaluation of New Teaching-learning Methods for Computer Education of Students in Special School (특수학교 학생들의 컴퓨터교육을 위한 새로운 교수-학습법 적용과 평가)

  • In this study, the new teaching-learning method for the students with disabilities is suggested and verified its efficiency. For this purpose, the current teaching-learning method will be examined and compared by attending Hangeul class of the computer training courses in the special schools and regular schools. In addition, for evaluation, the questionnaire survey on the existing teaching-learning method will be conducted for the students with disabilities of the special schools and after applying new teaching-learning method, the questionnaire survey will be conducted again. Through the conducted questionnaire surveys, the impact of the new teaching-learning method on the students with disabilities shall be analyzed.

Antimutagenic Activities of the Germinated Specialty Rices in E. coli and V79 Cultured Cell Assay Systems (E. coli와 V79 배양세포계에서 발아특수미의 항돌연변이 활성)

  • To evaluate the antimutagenic activity of the specialty rices, a giant embryonic rice and a pigmented rice, we measured the inhibitory effect on the chemically induced mutagenesis in E. coli and V79 cultured cell system, as well as on DNA strand scission induced by oxidative damages in vitro. When the inhibitory activity to mitomycin C-induced mutagenesis using SOS chromotest in E. coli cell was measured, the activities decreased in the following order: germinated pigmented rice (40.4%) > germinated giant embryonic rice (37.1%) > pigmented rice (35.5%) > germinated brown rice (15.7%) > giant embryonic rice (14.0%) > brown rice (0.8%). The activities for inhibiting mitomycin C-induced DNA strand scission decreased in the order of pigmented rice > giant embryonic rice > germinated pigmented rice > germinated brown rice > brown rice > germinated giant embryonic rice. We also determined antimutagenic activities of the specialty rices using the suppressing effect on 6-TG resistant colony formation by 4-NQO in V79 cells as a mutagenicity index. The order of antimutagenicity was germinated giant embryonic rice (53.2%) > pigmented rice (40.0%) > brown rice (21.2%) > germinated brown rice (14.4%) > giant embryonic rice (0.23%); in contrast, germinated pigmented rice showed promoting effect on 4-NQO-induced mutagenesis.

  • 문제: 영상의학과 특수 검사(CT, MRI, 초음파)가 고가인 것에 반해 환자의 대기시간이 길어 환자의 만족도가 낮고 부도율(non-attendance rate)도 높다. 목적: 환자의 영상의학과 특수 검사 예약률과 부도율(non-attendance rate)을 파악하고 이에 관한 원인을 분석하여 환자의 만족도를 증가시킬 방안을 모색하는 것이 목적이다. 의료기관: 경기도에 소재한 920병상규모의 대학병원 질 향상 활동: 영상의학과 검사 예약 환자의 부도율 원인 조사 및 만족도 조사를 실시하여 원인을 파악하고 개선을 통해 질 향상을 도모하였다. 개선효과: 전체부도율이 개선 전 9.6명에서 개선 후 7.1명으로, 불량률은 개선 전 10.43%에서 개선 후 7.81%로 다소 감소되었으며 검사 예약률은 개선 전 93.94%에서 개선 후 94.51%로 미 예약률은 6.0%에서 5.5%로 감소하였다.

  • 우리나라의 전기공작물규정 제166조, 167조, 168조 및 169조에는 특수장소의 저압공사에 대하여 규정되어 있으나 미국 전기규범(National Electrical Code)에 비하면 너무 간단하며 국내에서는 방폭형 전기기기를 정식으로 제작하는 공장이 없는 까닭에 대부분 외국에서 수입해야 하는 실정이며 또한 특히 군에서는 미 고문단의 기술협조를 받아야 하므로 부득히 NEC의 규정에 따라서 공사를 해야하나 미제 재료를 도입하려면 공사시간도 지연되며 또한 군원이관 계획에 의거 점차로 군원이 소멸되고 있으므로 앞으로는 이와 같은 방폭원 전기재료에 대하여 국내에서 제작 기준을 설정하고 이를 생산할 수 있도록 당국에 강력히 건의하는 바이다.

Substitution of Rice Flour on Bread-Making Properties (쌀가루 첨가 식빵의 제빵 특성)

  • Effects of substituting wheat flour with rice flour on bread-making properties were investigated. Rice(Oryza sativa L.) cultivars were 'Goami2(G2)', a functional rice containing higher non-digestible carbohydrates, and 'Chucheongbyeo (CC)', an ordinary Japonica rice. Rice flour was substituted at 10, 20 and 30% in wheat bread formulation, and the composite flour was used for yeast-leavened bread making. Peak and final viscosity of G2 rice flour was significantly lower than that of CC rice flour. Mixograph analysis indicated that replacement of G2 rice flour increased dough water absorption and mixing time compared to wheat flour. But, typical mixograph pattern was not found in the dough from composite flour with CC rice flour. As increasing the amount of rice flour, the G2 rice breads showed a significant decrease in loaf volume, but an increase in bread crumb firmness(g). For the CC rice breads, no significant difference(p<0.05) was observed in loaf volume and crumb firmness, ranging 1012~1050 cc and 433~482g, respectively. The results revealed that Chucheongbyeo is more suitable for bread-making with the composite flour of rice(10~30%) and wheat flour.

Decomposition of a Text Block into Words Using Projection Profiles, Gaps and Special Symbols (투영 프로파일, GaP 및 특수 기호를 이용한 텍스트 영역의 어절 단위 분할)

  • This paper proposes a method for line and word segmentation for machine-printed text blocks. To separate a text region into the unit of lines, it analyses the horizontal projection profile and performs a recursive projection profile cut method. In the word segmentation, between-word gaps are identified by a hierarchical clustering method after finding gaps in the text line by using a connected component analysis. In addition, a special symbol detection technique is applied to find two types of special symbols tying between words using their morphologic features. An experiment with 84 text regions from English and Korean documents shows that the proposed method achieves 99.92% accuracy of word segmentation, while a commercial OCR software named Armi 6.0 Pro$^{TM}$ has 97.58% accuracy.y.

  • 현재 미 해군에서 개발 중인 DD21은, 미 해군의 해상 전투력 구조의 핵심인 이지스급 함정을 제외한 DD-963급 구축함과 FFG-7급 프리깃 함의 교체함으로서, 연안전에 대한 새로운 특수 임무에 적응할 수 있게 많은 학자들에 의해 연구되고 있는 차세대 구축함이다. 즉, DD21은 기존 이지스 함정에 부가하여 대지전(Land Attack)과 대기뢰전을 포함한 다목적의 기능을 발휘하면서 전투원의 스마트(Smart), 배치와 장비와 기구의 자동화와 기계화를 통한 함정과 함체의 스텔스(Stealth)화로 유지비와 초기 투자비를 최소화시킨 함정이다.
