선박의 안전운행을 지원하기 위해 다양한 정보를 신속하고 정확하게 파악할 필요가 있다. 이를 지원하기 위해 6종 개별 서비스를 표출하고, 별도의 데이터를 통합해서 표시하는 통합대시보드를 배치하여 종합적인 정보를 한눈에 확인할 수 있도록 하였다. 통합대시보드는 선박의 안전상태(충돌위험지수, 횡경사, 침수상태 등)를 시각적으로 확인이 용이하게 디자인 되었으며, 사고 발생 시 상태모니터링을 통해 신속한 의사결정이 가능하도록 구성하였다.

최근 인터넷 이용의 증가는 전송 링크의 광대역 지원과 멀티미디어 트래픽 QoS 보장 등의 문제 해결을 필수적으로 요구하게 되었다. 또한 현재 인터넷 IP 서비스에서 한 단계 향상된 서비스, 즉 가상 사설망(Virtual Private Network) 서비스나 Voice over IP, Video over IP, 웹 호스팅, 전자 상거래 제공 등이 현실적인 문제로 대두되면서 이를 지원할 수 있는 네트워크 구성 요소의 필요성은 증가하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 IP와 ATM의 통합으로 MPLS 기술 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. MPLS 시스템이 현재 IP 네트워크에서 지원하는 것 이상으로 보다 유용한 운용(Operation), 관리(Administration), 유지보수(Maintenance) 기능을 지원해야 하기 때문에 네트워크 운용과 관리(OAM)는 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 ACE2000 ATM 교환기를 기반으로 하는 MPLS 시스템에서 OAM 계층과 라벨을 고려함으로써 ATM 시스템의 운용관리 기능과 연계처리 가능한 MPLS 시스템에서의 통합 운용관리 기능을 설계하고 구현한다.

In this paper we present a translation lookaside buffer (TLB) system with low power consumption for embedded processors. The proposed TLB is constructed as multiple banks, each with an associated block buffer and a corresponding comparator. Either the block buffer or the main bank is selectively accessed on the basis of two bits in the block buffer (tag buffer). Dynamic power savings are achieved by reducing the number of entries accessed in parallel, as a result of using the tag buffer as a filtering mechanism. The performance overhead of the proposed TLB is negligible compared with other hierarchical TLB structures. For example, the two-cycle overhead of the proposed TLB is only about 1%, as compared with 5% overhead for a filter (micro) TLB and 14% overhead for a same structure without continuos accessing distinction algorithm. We show that the average hit ratios of the block buffers and the main banks of the proposed TLB are 95% and 5% respectively. Dynamic power is reduced by about 95% with respect to with a fully associative TLB, 90% with respect to a filter TLB, and 40% relative to a same structure without continuos accessing distinction algorithm.

최근 다양한 유형의 모바일 클라우드 서비스가 활성화 됨에 따라 서비스 제공을 위한 하부구조에 대한 논의가 증대되고 있다. 모바일 환경에 적합한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 미디어 변환, 처리와 같은 표현(presentation) 계층뿐만 아니라 네트워크 계층에서 서비스를 지원하기 위한 기능이 요구된다. 이러한 기능은 서비스기능 측면에서 QoS, 인증, 로밍 등의 기능이 필요할 뿐만 아니라 클라우드 사업자 내부 시스템의 통합(integration) 및 사업자간 연합(federation) 의 필요성을 증대시킨다. 본고에서는 NGSON 에서 논의되고 있는 서비스 오버레이 구조를 소개하고, 클라우드 컴퓨팅과 통합되는 구조와 특정을 제시하며 끝으로 NGSON 기반 모바일 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스를 제공하는 주요사례와 장점을 알아본다.

본 논문은 다양한 표준의 제어 미들웨어가 설치된 환경에서 흠내의 정보기기간의 정보 전달 및 제어물 위해서 단일한 서비스를 개발, 실행하기 위한 구조를 설명한다. 기존의 가전제품에 다양한 통신 미디어(예: IEEE1394, IrDA, LAM, PLC, Bluetooth 등)이 추가되어 새로운 부가가치를 지원하는 정보가전제품들이 소개되고 있고 이에 적합한 통신 환경이 개발, 보급되고 있다. 또한, 정보기기간의 제어, 데이터 전송, 서비스 개발을 목적으로 다양한 제어 미들웨어(Jini, HAVi, LonWorks, UpnP 등) 이 제시되고 발전해가고 있다. 이러한 추세에 의하면 향후 수년안에 홈네트워크 서비스 플랫폼의 요구사항이 높아지며 특히, 다중 제어 미들웨어를 지원하는 서비스 플랫폼의 등장이 필요한 시점이다. 본 논문에서 설계, 구현한 홈네트워크 통합미들웨어는 서비스 프로바이더(서비스 제공자 및 운용자)에게 서비스개발, 보급 운용의 단일 환경을 제공한다. 이의 한 예제인 홈네트워크 미들웨어 연동 서비스는 서로 다른 제어 미들웨어를 따르는 정보기기간의 연동 서비스를 다양한 매체를 수용하는 홈서버에서 가능하도록 구축하였다.

In recent years, there have been active researches on the services of the next generation mobile communications. In particular, the services in the next generation mobile communications differ from the services in the conventional mobile communication services that they can provide the services customized at each user. The profile management technology becomes more important for such personalized services since it is closely related with providing services adaptively to user's current situation and preferences. However, the conventional profile management technologies have their limitations on providing personalized services because they put most of emphasis on the customer management. Even, it becomes more difficult with current profile management system to support the personalized services, where the service providers manage the user profiles independently each other. In this paper, we propose a novel profile management system called profile service provider, and describe the requirements to support personalized services in the next generation mobile communications.

정부와 공공기관은 전자정부 및 정보화사업 등을 통해 구축한 시스템을 통해 각종 정보와 인터넷 지원서비스를 기업에 제공하고 있다. 공공부분의 정보시스템 구축과 웹을 통한 서비스는 일반화 되어 있으며, 이제 정보시스템의 효율성과 고객 활용도 및 만족도를 높이기 위해 다양한 IT 기술의 적용을 고민하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 중소기업 지원시스템에서 CRM(Customer Relationship Management)을 활용한 기업중심의 On-Off Line 통합 기업지원 모델을 제시한다.

본 논문은 ATM망에서 다중 그룹 통신 서버를 이용하여 다양한 멀티캐스팅 응용 서비스를 지원할 수 있는 통합된 그룹 통신 플랫폼의 설계 및 구현 내용을 기술하였다. 본 논문에서 구현한 플랫폼은 단일 그룹 통신 서버에서 발생할 수 있는 트래픽 부하로 인한 병목현상을 줄이기 위해 다중 그룹 통신 서버 구조로 설계하였으며, 이 플랫폼은 하부 ATM망을 기반으로 하여 TCP/IP 프로토콜 및 Native ATM 프로토콜 상위에서도 동작할 수 있도록 설계하여 다양한 멀티캐스팅 응용 및 서비스를 효과적으로 지원할 수 있다.
