  • As cyber education using e-Learning system is expanded, various Learning Contents has been created to satisfy the demand of various students. But since it takes long time and spends high cost to create e-Learning contents, it is hard to satisfy the demand of various students. To solve this problem standardizations of the Learning Contents and researches of Learning Contents Metadata are focused in reusability of Learning Contents and information retrieval of Learning Contents. In this paper to improve manageability and retrievability, legacy version control and document management system are introduced. Based on existing version control and document management system, we developed automated history control system. To conveniently provide retrieval, inquiry and integrating of Learning Contents, we researched Learning Contents Management System based on SOA to easily approach with the Learning Contents Management Server which is dispersed on wide area

  • This paper is a study on the implementation of MAM(Media Asset Management) to utilize UHD contents as high quality broadcast material. The implementation method of this paper is to separate MAM roles with content management functions and transmission workflow functions from workflow, metadata and system interface related work, which are divided into core MAM and MAM-Ex structure. Through the method proposed in this paper, we improved the content management method by applying the page menu method to the material metadata modification and applying the template method to the material structure API. In addition, the storage of UHD material and the configuration of the component server are pooled without any distinction of channels, thereby enhancing the security of UHD transmission assets by minimizing the movement of contents together with broadcasting material protection.

Entrepreneurs' Competencies and Business Performance: A Meta-Analysis (창업가의 역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 메타분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical basis for future studies by systematically integrating existing empirical studies that examine the relationship between the entrepreneurs' competencies and business performance. As the results of empirical studies examining the relationship between the entrepreneurs' competencies and business performance are mixed, this study tries to derive different results from individual studies through meta-analysis into standardized statistics(effect sizes). To accomplish the purpose, this study developed hypotheses about the positive effects of the entrepreneurial competencies including opportunity recognition competency, managerial competency, technical-functional competency, strategic competency, and relationship competencies on the business performance through theoretical reviews of the literature. Also, this study conducted meta-analysis with 15 sample data using open source based statistical program 'R'. The results of this study are as follows. The opportunity recognition competency, managerial competency, technical-functional competency, strategic competency, and relationship competency were found to significantly affect financial business performance. Also, each of the factors had a moderate effect size on the performance. Among these competencies, the most effective factor was the strategic competency, followed by the opportunity recognition competency, technical-functional competency, and relationship competency. There is still no study using meta-analysis on the relationship between the entrepreneurs' competencies and business performance in South Korea. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to provide implications for developing the theoretical basis of future studies.

e-Government Grid System for Information Interoperability (정보 상호운용을 위한 전자정부 그리드 시스템)

  • Currently operated many information systems are faced up with various difficulties to exchange data and to cooperate between different systems because the factors, such as data exchangibility and system interoperability, are not considered during the system development from scratch. To overcome these problems, we attempt to apply e-Government Grid to resolve the heterogeneity of systems and propose Government Information Metadata Registry (GIMDR) for assurance of interoperability of distributed and independent information systems in e-government environments. Consequently, the case study is introduced to provide the seamless connection between distributed systems. The proposed e-Government Grid and GIMDR are expected to reduce the heterogeneity of the distributed systems for interoperability, as well as increase the accessability and transparency of cooperating information.

Design of Standard Data Model for the Informatization of Signboards (간판의 정보화를 위한 표준 데이터 모델 설계)

  • Signboards are installed in different types and sizes depending on the shop characteristics. However, the local government is having difficulty managing signboards with frequent opening and closing of stores and insufficient management personnel. In this study, a methodology was proposed to standardize and efficiently manage signboard information. To this end, the signboard display method of the enforcement ordinance related to outdoor advertising was analyzed to define the attribute elements of standard signboard data. In addition, physical information of signboards was obtained through signboard recognition technology, which is a prior study, and attribute elements of signboard standard data were defined through information that can be read with the naked eye, building integration information of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and street name address. In order to standardize the signboard information by spatial characteristics, data product specifications and metadata were defined according to the national spatial information standard. Lastly, standard data for signboards were produced in XML (Extensible Markup Language) format for compatibility, and XSD (XML Schema Definition) was defined for XML integrity so that data validity could be verified. Through this, a standard data model for the informatization of signboards was designed.

  • This paper describes a vertical search system based on multiple entity-centric unification, which enables to deal with the search queries including multiple domains. To implement the system, we introduced two search technologies; one is for merging service components dynamically according to the entities in the search keywords, and the other is for searching fields with appropriate entities. Our current system includes about 453,000 overseas journal papers for article information search and two entity types; research topic and researcher.

  • 콘텐츠의 다양화로 인해 콘텐츠의 관리를 위해 CMS(contents Management System)가 다양하게 운영되고 있다. 현재 CMS들은 단지 소속회원들을 기반으로 DRM기술을 적용하여 콘텐츠 저작권을 보호하고 있다. 따라서 콘텐츠의 글로벌 사용이 제한되고 상호운용이 불가능하고 콘텐츠의 원천적 저작권보호가 불가능하다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 저작권 보호를 위하여 공개키 기반의 라이선스관리 모듈을 설계하였으며 이를 기반으로 콘텐트 암호화하는 패키저 모듈, 암호화된 콘텐트를 복호화하는 언 패키저 모듈, 콘텐트 공유서버 및 클라이언트 모듈을 설계하였다. 이기종간의 CMS는 트랜젝션 서버를 통해 통합 메타데이터를 공유하며 통합 CMS를 운영하여 다양한 콘텐츠를 다양한 CMS에서도 활용 가능하도록 제안하였으며 웹 콘텐츠 인증코드를 이용한 DRM 기술을 기반으로 콘텐츠 사용 제한 및 저작권 보호를 지원한다.

An Architecture Modeling Language for Collaborative Networked Organizations (협업 네트워크 조직의 아키텍처 모델링 언어)

  • Reference modeling for Collaborative Networked Organizations(CNOs) has just started, and Enterprise Architecture Modeling Languages(EAMLs) for CNOs are very few. Lack of reference models makes it difficult for people to communicate with each other and lack of EAMLs also makes it difficult to implement information systems for CNOs. We propose an EAML for CNO called CAML. It supports (1) multi-level modeling based on Model- Driven Architecture of OMG's for expressive power and efficiency of implementations, and (2) multi-focus modeling based on Zachman Framework for completeness of modeling The effectiveness of the CAML is investigated through modeling of a supply chain and execution of change impact analysis.

  • 스마트 폰의 등장으로 인해 사용자들은 모바일 기기를 통해 언제 어디서나 인터넷 서비스를 이용할 수 있게 되었고 더불어 다양한 앱을 통해 기존에 PC에서 제공되던 서비스들이 모바일 기기로 이동하게 되었다. 이러한 변화는 TV시장에도 영향을 미치게 되었고 TV에서도 인터넷 서비스뿐만 아니라 다양한 앱 서비스를 이용할 수 있는 스마트TV 시대를 열게 되었다. 스마트 TV시스템은 방송망과 인터넷 망을 통해 사용자에게 보다 다양한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 되었으나 각 인터넷 콘텐츠 제공자가 앱 형태로 콘텐츠를 제공함으로써 다양한 콘텐츠 제공자로부터 사용자가 원하는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 검색하는 데에 한계가 있었다. 본 논문은 사용자 키워드 검색문 의미해석을 통해 서로 상이한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 메타데이터 정보 구조를 가지고 있는 콘텐츠 제공자들이 효과적으로 검색결과를 제공할 수 있는 스마트TV통합검색시스템에 대하여 기술한다.

The Ontology Based, the Movie Contents Recommendation Scheme, Using Relations of Movie Metadata (온톨로지 기반 영화 메타데이터간 연관성을 활용한 영화 추천 기법)

  • Accessing movie contents has become easier and increased with the advent of smart TV, IPTV and web services that are able to be used to search and watch movies. In this situation, there are increasing search for preference movie contents of users. However, since the amount of provided movie contents is too large, the user needs more effort and time for searching the movie contents. Hence, there are a lot of researches for recommendations of personalized item through analysis and clustering of the user preferences and user profiles. In this study, we propose recommendation system which uses ontology based knowledge base. Our ontology can represent not only relations between metadata of movies but also relations between metadata and profile of user. The relation of each metadata can show similarity between movies. In order to build, the knowledge base our ontology model is considered two aspects which are the movie metadata model and the user model. On the part of build the movie metadata model based on ontology, we decide main metadata that are genre, actor/actress, keywords and synopsis. Those affect that users choose the interested movie. And there are demographic information of user and relation between user and movie metadata in user model. In our model, movie ontology model consists of seven concepts (Movie, Genre, Keywords, Synopsis Keywords, Character, and Person), eight attributes (title, rating, limit, description, character name, character description, person job, person name) and ten relations between concepts. For our knowledge base, we input individual data of 14,374 movies for each concept in contents ontology model. This movie metadata knowledge base is used to search the movie that is related to interesting metadata of user. And it can search the similar movie through relations between concepts. We also propose the architecture for movie recommendation. The proposed architecture consists of four components. The first component search candidate movies based the demographic information of the user. In this component, we decide the group of users according to demographic information to recommend the movie for each group and define the rule to decide the group of users. We generate the query that be used to search the candidate movie for recommendation in this component. The second component search candidate movies based user preference. When users choose the movie, users consider metadata such as genre, actor/actress, synopsis, keywords. Users input their preference and then in this component, system search the movie based on users preferences. The proposed system can search the similar movie through relation between concepts, unlike existing movie recommendation systems. Each metadata of recommended candidate movies have weight that will be used for deciding recommendation order. The third component the merges results of first component and second component. In this step, we calculate the weight of movies using the weight value of metadata for each movie. Then we sort movies order by the weight value. The fourth component analyzes result of third component, and then it decides level of the contribution of metadata. And we apply contribution weight to metadata. Finally, we use the result of this step as recommendation for users. We test the usability of the proposed scheme by using web application. We implement that web application for experimental process by using JSP, Java Script and prot$\acute{e}$g$\acute{e}$ API. In our experiment, we collect results of 20 men and woman, ranging in age from 20 to 29. And we use 7,418 movies with rating that is not fewer than 7.0. In order to experiment, we provide Top-5, Top-10 and Top-20 recommended movies to user, and then users choose interested movies. The result of experiment is that average number of to choose interested movie are 2.1 in Top-5, 3.35 in Top-10, 6.35 in Top-20. It is better than results that are yielded by for each metadata.
