A Study on the Differences in Hotel Choice Factors according to the Payment Level of Accommodation Charge (숙박비 지불수준에 따른 호텔선택요인 차이연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of payment of accommodation charge to hotel customers and to analyze the differences in hotel choice factors according to the level of payment(low, medium and high prices) to present marketing measures for attracting customers by hotel price range. To achieve the purpose of research, a survey was conducted on hotel customers from February 1, 2020 to April 30, 2020. A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed, eliminating 45 inappropriate copies for analysis, and finally utilizing 305 questionnaires for analysis. According to the analysis, among the basic factors, the biggest difference between groups was hotel size, breakfast menu, restaurants, and auxiliary facilities. It was analyzed that there are differences between groups in the amenity section in the room factor and outside tourism programs in the incidental factor. The main factors were analyzed as the most important factor, although there were no differences between groups. Based on this, the marketing plan is proposed as follows. Low-cost hotels are targeted at women in their 20s with high school diplomas, and it is recommended to have low-cost price policies and promotions. Mid-priced hotels are targeted at men in their 40s with college degrees, and they should strive to operate shuttle buses, promote room prices, and educate employees. In the case of high-priced hotels, it was analyzed that overall service reinforcement, employee education, and viral marketing are important, targeting high school graduates in their 20s.

  • Clustering is a data mining method, which consists in discovering interesting data distributions in very large databases. In traditional data clustering, similarity of a cluster of object is measured by pairwise similarity of objects in that paper. In view of the nature of clustering transactions, we devise in this paper a novel measurement called item similarity and utilize this to perform clustering. With this item similarity measurement, we develop an efficient clustering algorithm for target marketing in each group.

  • 현재 국내의 이동통신 가입자수와 무선인터넷 가입자수가 급증하면서 인터넷과 이동 통신을 연계한 광고서비스나 직접 휴대폰에 광고를 제공하는 서비스가 등장하고 있다. 그러나 현재 이동통신에 제공되고 있는 광고서비스는 문자메세지를 이용하는 단문광고이고 제공되는 광고도 휴대폰 이용자가 직접 듣고 확인해야 하는 불편함을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이동통신을 활용하여 고객의 니즈(Needs)에 부합되는 광고를 제공할 수 있는 새로운 광고기법을 제안하고 이에 대한 수요예측과 데이터 마이닝 기법을 적용하여 이 광고에 대한 타겟마케팅 전략을 제시하고자 한다.

Target Marketing using Inverse Association Rule (역 연관규칙을 이용한 타겟 마케팅)

  • Making traditional plan of target marketing based on Association Rule has brought restriction to obtain the target of marketing. This paper is to present Inverse Association Rule as a new association rule for target marketing. Inverse Association Rule does not use information about relation between items that customers purchase like Association Rule, but use information about relation between items that customers do not pruchase. By adding Inverse Association Rule to target marketing, we generate new marketing rule to look for new target of marketing. From new marketing rule, this paper is to show direct marketing about target item and indirect marketing about another item associated with target item to sell target item. The reason is that sales of the item associated with target item have an influence on sales of target item.

  • This study examined the trends of an illustration artist's art marketing widening its area in recent years and proposes a design concept of color cosmetics. Art marketing is a type of culture marketing and means marketing through exhibitions, performances and other artistic activities. Free artistic sensibility expression in which the artistic motif is melted into a product beyond the works of a particular artist, and the product, in turn, can be reflected in the canvas, has attracted attention. The works of illustrators are widening their area into the item in life not canvas. This paper proposes the color cosmetics design that reflect art marketing. The main target who proposed the design concept was trend-oriented and in their early to mid-20s with a strong personality, showing a strong tendency of attracting attention and being recognized. To emphasize the design concept of color cosmetics packaging design, the progressive image of the target class was reflected through brilliant and intense color combination. The cultural value and meaning are provided as the artistic mood becomes a part of life.

  • 최근 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 언제 어디서나 정보를 누구라도 손쉽게 전달하고 볼 수 있는 수단으로 각광받고 있다. 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 주요한 특징은 사람과 사람, 사람과 정보, 정보와 정보 간의 관계 네트워크로서, 사용자가 능동적으로 참여한다는 것이다. 하지만 범람하는 수많은 정보들 속에서 사용자가 직접 정보를 검색 및 분류해야 하는 과정은 사람과 정보간의 관계 네트워크 측면에서 소셜의 의미를 충족하지 못한다. 이러한 기존의 정보 활용법은 사용자의 선호도에 따른 맞춤형 정보의 수용과 공유를 제시하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서 설계된 사용자 맞춤형 서비스 시스템은 사용자의 상황인식 속성정보와 이에 따른 선호도를 평가하는 알고리즘을 기반으로 하여 보다 효율적인 커뮤니티 공간이 제공될 수 있는 맞춤형 커뮤니티 서비스 시스템을 설계 제안한다. 제안된 시스템에서는 소셜 네트워크 서비스에서 사용자가 텍스트를 읽거나 작성하는 행위를 바탕으로 사용자의 관심사를 제공된 알고리즘으로 분석하여 사용자의 선호도에 따른 정보를 분류하고, 사용자의 인적정보로부터 선별한 유사 사용자들을 통해 신뢰성이 높은 정보를 우선적으로 선출한다. 따라서 사용자의 속성과 선호도를 고려한 상황인식 정보를 제공함으로써 사용자가 직접 정보를 검색 및 분류하는 과정을 단축하고 정보의 신뢰성을 향상할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 이러한 상황인식 기반의 맞춤형 커뮤니티 서비스 시스템은 실시간으로 많은 정보가 공유되는 서비스에서 다양하게 적용되어 인터넷 신문, 타겟 마케팅 광고 등의 응용분야에서 다양한 정보제공 서비스 시스템으로 적용될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

  • Recent rise of social media channel is changing social and economic paradigm and is being used as an effective communication in marketing. The following research analyzes the most employed social marketing tools such as portal advertisement, blogs, and SNS channels to effectively execute social media marketing from performance indicator and ICSI perspective, analyzes each channel's characteristics and results based on Korea distribution companies' case studies and suggests a framework to effectively use each channel. Portal site advertisements are the most effective channel to draw customers with new information and are thus linked to profit by corporations with excessive budget and workforce. Blogs target a specific range of customers providing quality information and knowledge thus improving a corporation's and its product's trustworthiness, spread the word by allowing customers to scrap the information, form social groups and synthesize ideas, events, new contents and social involvement with loyal customers. SNS channels allow customers to get involved in real time information and events, grow through network by the power of customers, react immediately to customers' needs, and execute real-time market and customer reports. Though national corporations currently rely heavily on portal site advertisements, insightful marketing professionals are showing financial results with blog and SNS. In the future, based on a precise understanding of each channel's benefits and expected results, and with a focus on flexibility, timeliness and integrated use of each channel, a portfolio of dynamic marketing as a maximizing strategy could be synthesized.

Validity and Expected Effect of International Marketing Cooperative for Korean Animation (애니메이션 해외 배급 활성화를 위한 마케팅 협동조합 도입의 타당성 연구)

  • Operating under the principle of user-benefit maximization and democratic user-control, cooperatives are being spot-lighted as a business model satisfying the various social, financial needs. In Korea, the Law of Cooperative was enacted as of December 2012, which has enabled the establishment of cooperatives in variety of industry fields. This study is to discuss the expected effect and validity of marketing cooperative as a solution for insufficient sales revenue in international distribution of Korean animation. The interviews with Korean animation studios found out the key problems of overseas distribution, which are; 1) lack of marketing expertise and weak organization, 2) lack of ancillary rights exploitation due to the deals based upon all rights package with the broadcasters who are not interested in ancillary business, 3) lack of localized marketing support in each territory. The solution for these problems takes large and long-term marketing investment and it is far beyond the capabilities of small Korean animation studios. Marketing cooperative can provide services not available otherwise such as in-depth market research which will help the improvement of international marketing expertise. Also. as the cooperative carries enough volume of animation catalogue, it can increase negotiation power satisfying the various needs of buyers. Also, it can provide the precise marketing support for each territory by integrating every process of value chain, from TV broadcasting, merchandising, and digital media platform. Above all, a clear benefit of marketing cooperative is that, because of its user-benefit and user-control principle, the principal-agent problem can be minimized while it maximizes the profit for member studios.
