  • 본 논문에서는 소형 단말기에서 다량의 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 효과적으로 정렬, 검색. 액세스 할 수 있는 새로운 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 브라우저를 제안한다. 또한 다중 플랫폼화 되어가는 컴퓨팅 환경 변화에 적응하기 위한 마이그레이션 시스템 구조를 제안하고, 이를 기반으로 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 브라우저를 확장하여 이기종 단말기에서 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에 대한 액세스를 가능하게 하였다. 제안 브라우저에 대한 사용성 평가를 통하여 제안 브라우저의 유용성 및 활용 효율성을 보였다.

  • 사용자의 온라인 활동을 추적하는 트래커나 무분별한 광고 등 웹 브라우저의 사용성을 해치는 콘텐츠를 차단하는 웹 브라우저의 기능에 대한 요구는 크게 증가하고 있다. 일부 데스크탑 브라우저 및 모바일 브라우저에서 확장 기능으로 컨텐츠 차단 및 광고 차단 기능을 제공하고 있으며, 삼성 모바일 브라우저인 삼성 인터넷에서도 EasyList의 규칙을 따르는 확장 기능으로 콘텐츠 차단 기능을 구현 적용하였다. 이에 웹 브라우저의 중요 사용성 항목인 페이지 로딩 시간, 전류 소모량의 성능평가를 진행하였다. Alexa top 30 사이트를 기준으로 성능평가를 진행한 결과 페이지 로딩속도는 11.5%, 전류소모량은 16%가 개선되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • In this thesis, we suggest the contents transmission system applied by Encryption Module. It prevents illegal distribution and reproduction of contents and supplements the limitation of the exiting transmission systems during the transmission by providing the contents encoded by RSA encryption algorithm and XOR computation method through user-oriented browser. And at same time, it protects the copyright with typing the contents and user-oriented browser in one-to-one manner by way of using the browser to renew a encoding key as soon replay is completed.

  • 본 논문은 모바일 사용자들이 스마트폰(Android OS)을 통해 쇼핑몰을 접속할 때 사용자가 보기 원하지 않는 상품을 선택하여 웹 브라우저에서 보이지 않을 수 있도록 지원하는 프로그램(Application)을 제안한다. 프로그램은 웹페이지를 파싱하고 파싱된 데이터를 사용자에게 상품별로 선택할 수 있도록 제공한다. 선택된 데이터는 웹 브라우저를 통해 보여줄 때 제거하여 보여준다. 따라서 사용자는 사용자 필요에 맞게 재구성된 웹페이지를 이용할 수 있다.

  • The Internet has become a part of our lives. As the number of devices with Internet accessibility increases, users can use web services with those devices anytime, anywhere. Web contents on the web page can be delivered to user in various forms for various devices and users want to use seamlessly the contents with an appropriate device. Web browser extension is function to add features that are not supported by default browser. All browsers support extensions that provide the same services for cross-browser. In this paper, We proposed object migration architecture between heterogeneous browsers by expanding our proposed mechanism that identifies objects and the information of those objects to be migrated in the web page, extracts the object and creates object after migration. For this purpose, we analyzed the extension architecture of representative browsers and investigated necessary files to develop objects migration extension. In addition, We investigated how to send and receive message among files in each browser extension and the interaction mechanism among those files. Finally, We implemented the object migration mechanisms between heterogeneous browsers.

  • In this paper, we represented the HTML5 webpage in 3D space for the 3D stereoscopic display by using CSS3 stylesheet; browser-based declarative contents, and proposed CSS Stereo 3DTV Profile. First, we suggested various webpage separation methods for reconstructing webpages in the 3D space effectively. Next, we suggested 3D view volume setting method by using extended CSS3 modules. And then, pre-processor converts sample contents which is written extended CSS stylesheet into the present CSS stylesheet for displaying in the webkit based browser. For the resulting stereoscopic images, we developed a rendering engine emulator which is implemented in JavaScript for simple display in the web browser, which produced dual images from virtual left and right-eyed cameras. And we have checked the sample contents displayed on the 3DTV.

  • Interest in IPTV content increases, the number of users quickly and easily find the need for an interface that can be consumed as well as the individual's taste is reflected in the menu structure is an emerging demand. Existing IPTV content depending on the browser menu, use the intuitive search criteria are presented differently, this is difficult and not take into account the characteristics of the user by providing an interface for users to interact with the content was limited. In this paper propose According to user requirements in IPTV, regardless of the type of content applicable to the multidimensional contents retrieval browser. This applies equally to the menu category and multidimensional approach based on simple, intuitive and can be used to visualize the content by users without detailed information about the multi-dimensional search to only the desired content will be available for consumption.

A Case Study on the Accessibility of Online Learning Content in Korea (국내 원격 교육 콘텐츠의 접근성 분석 사례)

  • The accessibility evaluation of ten web-based loaming content in Korea was performed with the following procedure : (1) A primitive metric of the compliance of those contents to the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 1.0 was obtained using Bobby, a widely used accessibility checker. (2) SGML validation test was carried out. (3) The contents were rendered with various browsers including a text-mode browser. (4) They were manually checked as to whether they satisfy the accessibility criteria proposed by W3C. Most of the tested contents scored low marks in all the test categories partly because they were apparently developed with little attention paid to web standard conformance, browser compatibility, and device-independence. They also put heavy emphasis on audio-visual effects catering only to the best-equipped users and offering no alternate access route for those in restricted environment. As more information and learning materials are delivered through the Internet, these low accessible contents would lead to a deeper information divide. The accessibility needs to be regarded as an important factor in evaluating the quality of loaming content.

  • Mobile internet service based on CDMA network evolution and multifunction mobile terminal is popular in Korea. Mobile internet service is classified as the information service using browser and mobile multimedia service using download platform. Killer applications based on multifunction mobile terminals have been developed for new business in mobile internet services. One of killer applications is location based seurvice (LBS) using mobile location information. In this paper, we develop mobile map browser using WIPI platform that is the main function in LBS. Mobile map browser interworking with GIS server provides the map information. The developed mobile map browser can be working on PDA and telematics terminals when WIPI is porting on these devices.
