Roles of Buyer's Trust and Distrust in Open Markets: Focusing on Transfer between Intermediary and Seller (오픈마켓에서 구매자의 신뢰와 불신의 역할: 중개업체와 판매자간 전이를 중심으로)

  • This study investigates the effects of trust and distrust on intention to purchase in open markets, based on the ideas derived from previous studies such as coexistence of trust and distrust, and two distinct trustees in open markets-intermediary and sellers. Specifically, this study i) proposes a trust-distrust model of intermediary and sellers, ii) explores the transfer of trust and distrust from intermediary to sellers, and iii) discovers the antecedents of trust and distrust. The empirical validation using Partial Least Squares shows three results as follows. First, trust in intermediary positively affects intention to purchase through the mediated impact of trust in sellers. That is, trust in intermediary transfers to trust in sellers. Second, distrust in intermediary negatively affects intention to purchase through the mediated impact of customers' perceived risk. Third, structural assurance and perceived website quality positively affect trust in intermediary. The results of this research have implications for intermediary firms not only to build trust but also to manage distrust level. However, this study could not identify any antecedent of distrust, so further research for these antecedents will be needed in the future.

  • Since consumers have difficulty in acquiring information related to products in online, they are apt to use WOM(word-of-mouth). It seems to be more popular and acceptable methods to acquire information about products sold in online. In other words, consumers who visit the Internet shopping-mall can not make a purchase-decision immediately because they have no sufficient knowledge about products. To solve this problem, consumers make use of the service called "online review". The objective of this study is to verify how these reviews can influence attitude toward the message, product and several buying behaviors in the online. In particular, this study focus on the message's sidedness(positive or negative) and objectivity(objective or subjective), because it is expected that consumers are likely to behave differently according to the characteristics of online reviews. Thus, to measure consumer's attitude and buying behavior, this study was examined by 4 types of messages. The results of this study are as follows: First, in the positive-objective message, the message attitude has a stronger effect on purchase intention than other outcomes. Second, in the positive-subjective message, the message attitude has a stronger effect on revisiting intention than others. Third, in the negative-objective message, the message attitude has a stronger effect on purchase intention than others. Hence, it is said that online shopping-mall managers need to understand the effects of multidimensional online review.

Use of External Information Sources by Potential Adopters of IT Convergence Products: Focusing on Potential Adopters of Smartphone (IT융합제품 잠재구매자의 외부정보원천 활용에 대한 연구 : 스마트폰 잠재구매자를 중심으로)

  • In this study, we have examined how the potential users of IT convergence product use the external information sources for purchasing decision focusing on a case of smartphone. Although the specifications and price of IT convergence products, such as smartphone, tablet pc, and smart TV, are considered as major criteria for purchasing decision, the competitiveness of these factors have disappeared as many companies launch similar products in the market. External information sources play a significant role to differentiate the alternatives by offering value-added experience information. The effect of external information sources becomes stronger for experience and high-involvement product whose performance can be evaluated through only users' direct experience. In this study, we categorized the external information sources for smartphone into five; company ads, personal network, expert group, consumers, and media. Through an empirical study with potential smartphone users, we verified how these external information sources affect users' purchasing decision in the perspective of the perceived attributes of information source, quality of information, and individual's characteristics based on self-regulatory theory.

  • The purpose of the study is to explore the attitude of the Korean television drama in mongolia market impact Korea country image, corporate and product's image formation. The research is conducted effects of Korean image, its company, product and belief of its product and influence of procurement of Korean products in Mongolia in terms of Mongolian has enormously watched Korean drama since latest of 1990. Korean drama can influence Korean products image. Watching Kore and rama can influence view of Mongolian in quality of Korean products, design etc. Korean dramas can affect images of Korean company. Watching Korean drama can influence opinion of Mongolian in staff, culture, level of technique of Korean company moreover, competitiveness of Korean company in international market and etc. Korean drama can influence Korean image. Watching Korean drama can reach aspect of Mongolian in Korean education level, national security, reconstruction and income of population and etc. The most effective factor in product reliability and procurement was country image but company image can not influence that. In conclusion according to survey result within Mongolian customers that Korean drama has some influence in Korean image, its company image, product image, and product reliability and procurement of Korean product.

Impact of Environmental-Educated Children on Their buying behaviors and Retroactive-Socialized Parents (환경교육을 받은 어린이를 통한 어른들의 소비행동과 역사회화)

  • The objectives of this study is to suggest marketing strategies directed of retroactive-socialized parents who have environmental-educated children at school. For this purpose, this study based on the consumer socialization agent such as family and demographic variables were studied. The scope of this study includes attitudes toward price and advertising, and interests related to environmental problems and environmental-products preference. As a result, The parents of environmental-educated children get much more environmental information and show favorable buying behaviors for environmental-products. Most of parents who get environmental information from children educated at school show favorable attitude towards the advertising and also show more preference to environmental-products and more frequent communication among family members. Parents who have environmental-educated children were insensitive to price, more consciousness about environmental problem and flexible to change in their buying behaviors. In conclusion, This study shows that behaviors of children had a significant influence on buying behavior of parents.

  • Smart TV sareequipped with an operating system and combined with internet functionality. They can use various apps and contents, and provide personalized and interactive services. However, the Internet connectivity of smart TVs has several security vulnerabilities that can cause significant personal and social harm. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a smart TV with a higher level of security than is currently available. In this study, we analyze consumers' purchase intention for smart TVs with security reinforcement by applying the UTAUT2 model. The results are as follows. Firstly, it was found that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and price value, as important variables under the existing UTAUT2 model, have significant effects on purchase intention. Secondly, effort expectancy did not have a positive impact on purchase intention. Thirdly, there was a moderating effect of gender on social influence. According to the results of this study, social influence has the most powerful effect on the purchase intention of smart TVs with security reinforcement. Therefore, in order to improve the purchase intention of smart TVs, it is necessary to expand the publicity activities designed to promote the necessity and importance of reinforcing the security of smart TVs and make them easier to use.

  • The recent domestic toy market is filled with the fever of 'Turning Mecard' produced as a character product of units showing in . The toy market of the domestic character licensing industry has shown such rapidly changing trends during the period of broadcasting contents like animation or special films targeting children. Through these contents, the characters are cognized, and also the immersion and loyalty can be increased depending on the progress of the story, on top of marketing effect while the animation is broadcasted. This effect is called gamification meaning that consumers voluntarily participate in the contents after receiving fun. Through the purchase of character products, the immersion and loyalty participate in the animation. Thus, this study analyzed the gamification elements by examining the animation and toy products of currently gaining popularity in the toy market. In the results of the study, the story structure of has the sustainment just like game, which is connected to its character product. Therefore, the users who have watched build up the relationship with each other, and the competition and reward can be done through the game using the character products, which is connected to such high immersion and loyalty.

  • Digital content is difficult to distinguish between the original and the replica due to its nature. For this reason, NFT technology using blockchain technology is attracting attention because it can guarantee the proof and scarcity of the original digital content. However, the NFT buyer does not own the copyright to the digital content, but the ownership. In particular, since the minting process of issuing NFTs is possible for anyone, there is a copyright threat to the copyright holder. In this study, we propose a verification protocol based on DID for the process of issuing and transacting NFTs for copyright protection of copyright holders' digital contents. As a research method, the problems of research cases related to digital contents were analyzed and the safety was comparatively analyzed. NFT issuance can only be issued by copyright holders whose identity has been verified through DID, and only users who have completed authentication can participate in the transaction to prevent indiscriminate theft and use of digital content and form a safe and transparent transaction market.

  • 바야흐로 현대인들은 휴대폰 홍수의 시대에 살고 있다. 이동통신사 대리점 쇼케이스를 보면 언제나 새로운 단말기가 즐비하다. TV CF를 봐도 최소 몇 주에 하나 꼴로 신규 모델에 대한 광고가 나온다. 휴대폰 업계의 동향에 대해 잠시만 눈여겨 보지 않고 소홀했다가는 그새 격세지감을 느낀다. 무슨 휴대폰 모델들이 이렇게나 많이 발표되는지…. 휴대폰에서‘통화 품질’이라는 요소가 소비자의 구매 결정을 좌우하던 시대는 끝난 상태다. 어느 단체의 설문조사 결과에서도 밝혀진 바와 같이 통신사 혹은 단말기 결정을 위해 소비자가 비교하게 되는 항목 중 가장 중요한 요소로 작용하는 것이 바로 디자인이라고 한다. 이번호에서는 다양한 휴대폰 디자인에 대해서 살펴본다.

블로그 이용자의 세분화와 상위 블로거로의 전환요인에 대한 연구

  • 블로그와 관련된 초기의 연구들은 주로 블로그를 사용하는 사용자를 동질성을 지닌 그룹으로 보고 연구를 진행하였다. 하지만 최근 블로그 인구가 크게 증가하여, 더 이상 동질성을 지는 그룹으로 보기에는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 블로그 사용자(이하 블로거)를 구분하는 특성 요인을 추출하여, 블로거 세분화 작업을 수행한다. 세분화된 블로거 그룹의 전자상거래 이용행태, 콘텐츠 유료 구매 등과의 연관성을 분석하여 다른 인터넷 유저들과의 상대적 가치에 대해서 평가해보고자 한다. 또한 분석된 블로거 그룹의 특성을 활용하여, 하위 블로거의 상위 블로거로의 전환요인이 무엇인지에 대해서 탐구해보고자 한다.
