슬래브궤도의 콘크리트교량 적용성 검토 (Appliance of Slab tracks on the Prestressed Concrete Bridges)

  • The railroad systems with the ballast tracks have been widely used for a long time. But recently, the use of the slab track is being increased gradually with a technical developments. So, this paper deals with the appliance of the slab tracks on the railroad bridges. Firstly, review the design criteria of the railroad bridges related to the slab tracks for the stability and serviceability, based on DIN and EURO code. Then, perform the analysis of the railroad prestressed concrete bridges, and check whether the results of the analysis satisfy the design criteria. Finally, find the construction condition of bridges that all the design criteria are satisfied. As a result, to maintain the stability and serviceability of the bridges, bridges must have some restrictions, including a time of installation of the slab tracks. So, the construction schedule for the erection of the bridges will be carefully considered in case of the concrete railroad bridges with the slab tracks.

  • Various design factors should be considered in order to apply the concrete slab track system on the soil/rock roadbed. One of the important factors is the settlement of roadbed. This settlement of concrete track should be supervised under the allowable settlement limit. If the settlement of roadbed under the concrete track exceed the allowable limit, the train serviceability will considerably come down and furthermore the fatal disaster may happen. Therefore, in this paper we introduced a PRCG(pressurized rapid-hardening cement grouting) method as a settlement restoration method that can be suitably adopted to the concrete slab track.

  • An active application of concrete track is being expected for the future construction of Korean railroad. For the successful concrete track construction and design in earthwork areas, the residual settlement should be reasonably estimated using the proper method. The concrete track is extremely vulnerable to the damage of residual settlement. However, at the transition areas such as bridge approach, differential settlement will likely occur due to difference of stiffness, poor drainage and poor ground treatment. The maintenance is very difficult for excessive settlement on existing line, it is need to constrain the residual settlement in step of design. In this paper, it is performed the determination of the allowable residual settlement through various study to understand the residual settlement behavior of concrete track roadbed.

  • The construction of concrete slab track system is increased because the system has advantages which are maintenance free and so on, the other side, the system has weak points such as increase of the cost of the early stage construction. Recently, railway environment is issued including noise. Therefore, measures which are to mitigate noise on slab tracks were introduced, however, it is found that efficiency of noise reduction is low because noise problem is still issued. In this study, to grasp noise characteristics on slab tracks we measured noise on high speed rail slab track in addition Saemaul and Moogungwha and the results have done comparative analysis.

  • In this paper, the objective is an evaluation of economics using Life Cycle Cost(LCC) analysis for the ballasted track and the concrete track. However, since the absence of reliable data on maintenance activities, the degree of a reliability about the results of the LCC analysis is insufficient yet. In order to remedy the problems, we surveyed a professional research group for an approximate estimation which can be represented a degree of maintenance through a application of examples. Hereby we found that it is possible to expect the retrenchment of cost using preventive maintenance management. Moreover we proposed appropriate and economical restrictions between track structures.

  • To develop our original technology of concrete slab track, being widely accepted for new track, prefabricated concrete slab track, or precast concrete slab track has been developed. They have two different types according to slab shape and its dimensions, connection of slabs and connecting structure onto substructure. After the system design and successful performance evaluation in the laboratory, the trial installation on revenue line has been carried out. This paper is presenting the result of the trial installation and the performance tests in field. The performance tests have been performed as visual inspection for cracks and damages, measurement of track alignment and elastic behavior of track under passing trains. The performance test results during last 2 years have shown that no remarkable damages and settlements were found, and track alignment and elastic track behavior both exhibits good status.

파일슬래브구조가 적용된 고속철도 토공노반에서의 진동 전파 (Wave Propagation on a High-speed Railway Embankment Using a Pile-slab Structure)

  • 콘크리트궤도가 도입됨에 따라 토공노반에서의 잔류침하 억제가 중요한 사안으로 대두되고 있다. 파일슬래브구조는 침하억제공법으로서 슬래브는 성토하중을 분산하고 파일은 분산된 하중을 지지층까지 직접 전달시켜 충분히 지지력을 확보하여 침하를 방지한다. 철도노반에 적용시 하중전달특성은 매우 우수하지만, 주행하중에 대한 진동전달 및 상호작용에 대한 특성이 규명되지 않았다. 구조적 특성상 이동하는 열차하중에 의해 발생한 진동은 슬래브를 반사층으로 하여 상부성토체 내에서 다중반사되어 전파할 가능성이 있는데 이는 열차의 주행안정성과 승차감에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 파일슬래브가 설치된 철도노반에서 열차 주행에 의해 발생되는 진동에너지의 전파특성을 평가하기 위하여 인공적인 충격하중과 고속열차의 실측하중을 사용하여 노반구조별 진동전파특성을 시간영역 및 주파수 영역에서 해석하였다. 검토 결과, 파일슬래브 구조에서의 진동 반사효과를 확인하였으며, 적정 성토고가 확보되는 경우에는 진동에 안정적이지만 성토고가 낮은 경우에는 저주파 영역의 진동에너지가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

철도터널 하부 여굴처리 방법에 대한 정적 및 동적 안정성 검토 (Static and Dynamic Analysis for Railway Tunnel according to Filling Materials for overbroken tunnel bottom)

  • 철도의 고속화에 따라 선형의 직선화와 함께 터널이 철도노선에 차지하는 비중은 급격하게 증가하였다. 터널 굴착 시 필연적으로 발생하고 있는 여굴은 터널의 안정성에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 또한 여굴은 시공의 경제성에도 매우 중요한 요소이기도 하다. 터널 굴착 시 천단부 여굴은 굴착공법의 발달과 함께 점차 감소하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 바닥부 여굴은 터널의 안정성에 미치는 영향이 상대적으로 적은 관계로 지속적으로 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 한국철도시설공단에서는 바닥부 여굴에 대하여 10 cm정도의 콘크리트 채움을 시공비로 인정하고 있으나, 그 이상에 대해서는 시공사가 부담하여 채움을 실시하고 있다. 바닥부 여굴에 대한 채움은 콘크리트 채움을 원칙으로 하고 있으나 경우에 따라 버림 콘크리트와 혼합골재를 병행하여 시공하는 곳도 발생하고 있다. 이는 궤도 하부에 연속체 재료와 불연속체 재료의 존재를 발생시키게 되며, 열차 운행 중 발생하는 진동의 전파에 영향을 미치게 된다. 일반적으로 콘크리트와 같은 연속체 재료만 존재하는 경우에는 열차운행에 의한 진동이 터널주면 암반으로 자연스럽게 전파될 수 있는 조건이 발생하나, 불연속체가 존재하면 진동의 전파와 반사에서 다른 특성을 나타낼 수밖에 없게 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 터널 바닥 채움 재료에 대하여 시멘트 혼합비율을 5%, 11.5%, 18% 등으로 달리하여 시료를 제작하였다. 제작된 시료의 동적 물성시험을 실시하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 수치해석을 실시하였다. 수치해석 결과 모든 재료의 배합은 정적안정성을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 동적거동에서는 빈배합콘크리트와 시멘트 함유량이 낮은 채움재를 사용하였을 경우 특정 운행속도에서 공진이 발생할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

도시철도 콘크리트궤도의 유형별 초기시설 투입비용 분석 (Initial Input Cost Analysis by Different Construction Types of Slab Tracks in Urban Railway)

  • The total length of Korean urban railways reaches 1,200km. Urban railway used to be installed with ballasted tracks by reason of low cost at the time of construction, slab tracks are now being installed due to the reasons of the improvement in safety, lengthening service life and more economical method in terms of maintenance. The length rate of slab tracks has exceeded 70% of the domestic urban railways with the methods ranging from STEDEF, LVT, ALT, Eidan-type, B2S to RHEDA. This study surveyed the share of domestic slab tracks, and compared and evaluated the input cost at the initial stage by the types of slab tracks. Construction processes have been standardized by the existing design documents and calculated the initial input cost for the length of 1km of a hypothetical straight line. Cost breakdown structure was evaluated as materials cost, construction cost, equipment cost, indirect cost, etc. It is expected that this study will be used in selection & evaluation which is considering the economic feasibility of slab tracks.
