  • This study provides a comprehensive survey of Post Keynesian economics. The global financial crisis 2008-2009 has triggered an important debate concerning economic theory, policy and methodology. The most important thing that this economic crisis has done for economics is that it revealed mainstream economics was wrong. Mainstream economics has been unable to offer clear answers for the crisis. The economic crisis, at the same time, brought about a crisis in the field of economics. This study suggests that economics needs to be altered into a new form that can explain the real world economy. In this paper, it is argued that Post Keynesian economics can be understood as the alternative economics. The paper begins with the vision and the origins of several Post Keynesian ideas, leading to an examination of certain features of the various groups, including their methodology and their approaches to uncertainty, their pricing theories and their growth theories. The focus, however, is on the stage reflected in Post Keynesian economics which is concerned with the conception of Lakatos's 'Scientific Research Programmes'. It is recognized that more research is necessary in order to complete the post keynesian economics as a standard science or as a progressive Scientific Research Programmes in economics.

  • A new formulation for the dynamic analysis of constrained multibody systems is presented in this paper. The formulation employs Kane's method along with the null space method. Kane's method reduces the dimension of equations of motion by using partial velocity matrix introduced in this study : it can improve the efficiency of the formulation. Three numerical examples are given to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the formulation.

  • The aim of this review is to introduce about the issue of benzocaine and methemoglobinemia. Through blocking the pain during dental treatment, fear and anxiety of patients will be reduced. Thus, anesthetic agent containing benzocaine is commonly used while controlling the pain of patients during treatment. However, on May 28, 2018, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety reported a medication safety report about restricting the use of benzocaine-containing agents in infants under 24 months and children. Also, they recommended a cautious use to adolescents and adults to prevent methemoglobinemia (MHb). This report was published due to an advice from Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on May 23, 2018. When using agents containing benzocaine, dentists must consider the probability of MHb and prepare for early diagnosis and appropriate action. Since 1930s, methylene blue is known to cure MHb patients. Therefore, the proper use of methylene blue for emergencies and diagnosis methods for early diagnosis of MHb should be familiar to dentists planning for the use of topical anesthetic agents. Dentists should be trained for emergency situation of MHb caused by the use of benzocaine.

  • A method for the dynamic analysis of multibody systems undertaking impulsive force is introduced in this paper. A partial velocity matrix based on Kane's method is introduced to reduce the number of equations to be solved. Only minimum number of equations of motion can be obtained by using the partial velocity matrix. This reduces the computational effort significantly to obtain the dynamic response of the system. At the very moment of the impulse, instead of using the numerical integrator to solve the equations of motion, the impulse and momentum principle is used to obtain the dynamic response. The impulse as wall as the reaction force acting on the kinematic joints can easily calculated too.

  • The present paper describes a mathematical modeling and simulation of the separation of a solid rocket booster from an air breathing engine vehicle. The vehicle and booster are considered as a multi-connected body and the booster is assumed to move only along the axial direction of the vehicle. The dynamic motion of the vehicle and the booster were modeled by using Kane's method. The aerodynamic forces on the whole system along various positions of booster were calculated by using DATCOM software and the internal pressure force acting on the effective surface during separation was simply calculated with gas dynamics and Taylor MacColl equation. Numerical simulation was done by using Mathworks-Matlab. From the result, the variation of Mach number and angle of attack are not large during the separation, so the variation of pitch angle and the characteristics of inlet flow for varying the Mach number and angle of attack during the separation test can be identified as neglectable values.
