A Conceptual Model of Smart Education Considering Teaching-Learning Activities and Learner's Characteristics (교수-학습 활동과 학습자의 특성을 고려한 스마트교육 개념모델)

  • Advanced ICT(Information and Communication Technology) and popularization of smart devices change our culture as well as our life style and it has changed the way of learning in education area. There have been some researches to make effective smart education systems based on ICT but few of them were designed by a solid concept of smart education. This is because there have been few researches on developing a conceptual model for smart education. The purpose of this study is to propose a conceptual model for smart education: CTLA(Creation, Teaching, Learning and Assessment) model. It includes activities of smart creation, smart teaching, smart learning, and smart assessment considering ICT environment for education and characteristics of digital natives.

  • Recently, R & D about Network Monitoring System is needed to be effective network management and to improve computer education. In this work, we propose a real time network monitoring system named NetCop to improve network management and effective use. This system is designed to show any screen to one or more students in interactive learning environment. The system also provides useful functions such as monitoring students' PCs and chat. In additions, our NetCop can provide more effective learning process to students. Finally, we expect that our system can achieve high network performance and provide high educational quality to managers.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지도교육자의 직무가 컴퓨터 경험, 지식, 태도, 사용에 미치는 영향을 구명한 후 지도 교육 시스템에서 컴퓨터 연수 프로그램을 직무에 따라서 그룹화하여 실시하는 것이 적절한 방법인지 그 타당성을 조사하는데 두고 있다. 연구방법은 중다변인변량분석(MANOVA)에 의해 이루어졌다. 연구 결과에 의하면 이들간에는 통계적으로 유의한 관계성이 있다고 나타나며, 따라서 컴퓨터 연수 프로그램을 설계시 직무는 고려해야 할 중요 변인으로 여겨진다. 한편 직무에 따른 참가자들의 그룹화는 쉽게 이루어 질 수 있으므로 실질적인 측면에서도 설계자들이 고려해야 할 요인으로 여겨진다.

  • Current computer education is moving its focus from using oriented education to improving students' creativity and problem solving ability by computer science education. Robot programming education is becoming a major research issue of computer education in the context of creativity education. One of the mainstream ideas of prior research about robot programming is the effect of robot programming. Another is curriculum development of robot programming. But, the focus of current research is moving toward teaching methods of robot programming. The theme of this research is to use examples in robot programming. Example programs are considered the most useful type of material both by the students and the teachers. Example programs play a important role in learning to program. They work as templates, guidelines, and hints for learners when developing their own programs. In this study, I developed a example-based robot programming support system. Due to the trends of smart learning, I developed this system as a mobile web application.

  • e-Learning can be seen as not only one of Internet based information systems which can provide education services, but also one of teaching-learning methods which can implement self-directed learning. This paper tests factors affecting the e-Learning performance based on information systems success model and self-efficacy theory using a field study. Questionnaires are collected from 216 students who are enrolling a e-learning class using online survey. The results are following: first, the service quality and self-efficacy are significant predictors of use intention, but system quality and information quality are not. second, the system quality, information quality, service quality and self-efficacy are significant predictors of user satisfaction. Third, use intention and user satisfaction are found to be a strong predictor of the learning performance.

  • In this paper, we present our prototype of a web manual creator that is based on MSP technology embedded in webMathematica. This tool gives courseware authors more simple ways to make their own mathematical web contents. We first classified authoring models for creating mathematical content development and proposed an advanced model. The final application called phpMath can generate MSP-driven documents automatically using Mathematica commands typed by users. In other words, phpMath users can make interactive dynamic mathematical web contents even though they do not know anything about web server, HTML, and webMathematica. We illustrated the details of the prototype from the user's perspectives followed by comments on usefulness.

  • 본 논문에서는 개방형 교육시스템 학습모형을 적용한 디자인 패턴 교육을 위한 개방형 교육 시스템을 통한 학습을 제안한다. 소프트웨어 디자인 패턴은 정형화된 답이 없으며 상황에 따라 유동적으로 사용되지만, 기존의 디자인 패턴 온라인 교육 시스템은 일방적으로 이루어져 있고 시중에 판매되는 책을 통해 디자인 패턴을 이해하기에는 어려운 부분이 많이 존재한다. 따라서 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 디자인 패턴 교육을 위한 개방형 교육 시스템을 제안한다. 디자인 패턴의 개념과 사례를 통해 기본적인 지식을 습득하고 디자인 패턴의 퀴즈와 실습을 해 이해도를 높인다. 또한, 일방적인 학습이 아닌 사용자들 간의 토론을 통해 한 방향에서 디자인 패턴을 보는 것이 아닌 다양한 시점에서 볼 수 있어 창의력도 함께 증진할 수 있다.

  • 프로그래밍 학습 시스템에서 자동 평가 기능은, 코드에 대한 실행 결과 외 다른 피드백을 제공할 수 있기 때문에, 그 피드백을 통해 학습자 스스로가 자신의 코드를 개선할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 프로그래밍 학습 시스템에서 사용중인 자동 평가 기능을 비교하고, 지능형 프로그래밍 튜터링 시스템인 Everycoding에서의 새로운 자동 평가 기능을 소개한다.

  • 수출입 기업이 관세 혜택을 받거나 올바른 관세를 측정하기 위해서는 통관 진행 시 올바른 품목 분류가 선행되어야 한다. 그러나 품목 분류의 기준이 1만개가 넘을 정도로 방대하여 신규 사용자나 품목에 이해가 부족할 경우 분류에 어려움이 따른다. 이러한 HS Code 분류의 한계점을 보완하기 위해 빅데이터 기반 이미지 분석을 통한 자동 제안 시스템을 목표로 하였다. 본 논문에서는 이미지 분석을 통한 HS Code 자동 제안시스템을 위한 수출입 품목 중 의류 품목의 수출입 품목에 국한하여 의류 HS Code 자동 분류 시스템을 설계하고, 제안한다.

  • In recent years, amount of studies on application of wetbased educational system are proceeding in educational field. This study proposes design and implementation for web-based learning system using WMT in order to practise assistance learning between teacher and students on the web. For system design and implementation, this study utilizes Windows 2000 Server and Windows Media Technology. Using WMT, we make teaming materials and put them in web-based educational system. It should be possible to make teaming in accordance with Windows Media Player for a long-distance students. As a result, this study expects to accomplish a web-based learning between teacher and student on the web.
